Very impressive building.Liked the fact they had secure parking . Good restaurants locally,a bit expensive for Spain, though well worth the price.
Parador lerma was an amazing palace, rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Town of lerma itself was very small
We refused the first bedroom offered to us because of a lack of lamps, 3 small lamps with one not fonctioning, with very few pieces of furniture. The second bedroom was perfect.
The feeling of being somewhere really special and the situation of the hotel in the old town.
Fantastic building and good place to "overnight" - interesting small town
Every thing, The room was beautiful, our dinner was fantastic and the breakfast was wonderful. This hotel is expensive but worth every penny, if you want to give yourself a treat this is the place to stay. Nothing, except I can't afford to stay there again soon.
The beautiful building and wonderful position. A charming little town with a lot of history. Did not find the staff too friendly. On leaving we were not really acknowledged....a pleasant goodbye would have been appreciated!
Excellent value for money. None
The hotel and the village of Lerma were something like a dream from the past.
I enjoyed the spaciousness of the accommodation and the sheer comfort. The wireless network worked well. I think that for the price one might have expected spa facilities.
The room was beautifully decorated and waiting staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The solid wooden floors made the hotel noisy, with the clatter of footsteps along corridors and in bedrooms. I'd recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
An ideal location for a stopover. Easy to locate, no need to tour the traffic ridden streets of a large town. Different and delightful.
very comfortable bedroom no english programme on tv. very expensive meals in the evening
Most outstanding was the staff's friendliness and their attentive service. I've stayed in at least a dozen spanish hotels and have been to numerous bars and restaurants. This one beats them all in that respect. Personally I don't like the rococo style, but I'm not going to argue about taste. I rated the location as good, because I was traveling and needed a place to stay the night. The hotel is located a few km's from Burgos, which makes it very convenient for a stop-over. Definitely money well spent.
the room no
The hotel was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Really good value for money
Reasonable overnight stop close to main routes through Spain to Portugal and France The television switched on in the restuarant during evening meal did not lead to full enjoyment of the meal or relaxation after a long day on the road travelling.
It was easy to find and, an ideal stopover for the Santander to UK ferry service. This could be a good promotional point, for the english language newspapers thatare published on the Costa Blanca! I wasn't too sure about what constituted breakfast, which we had pre booked!
Extremely comfortable, 'quaint' type hotel a short walk from the medival village of Covarrubias. Excellent base for walking the surrounding countryside None
Loved everything about it, the hotel has what in Spanish is called "ambiente", a lovely atmosphere, feels "homey" and has the nicest, friendliest hosts anyone could wish for. There was nothing we did not like.
The hotels was in a quiet situation and the surrounding cherry blossom was in flower at the time of our stay.
Very warm welcome, fantastic countryside. Breakfast is served rather late, from 9.00 am.
carmen, the owner was charming, helpful and most welcoming.we had a lovely room with a view.
The friendliness of the staff and the fact every room has its own terrace. The directions to the hotel were poor and the hotel is therefore very difficult to find. Breakfast is served rather late.
A very comfortable family run hotel in a very picturesque village. The surrounding countryside was beautiful in autumn.
This was a really nice hotel in the centre of a lovely old Spanish town. The evening meal was delicious, breakfast was basic but ok. Thoroughly recommended and great value for money.
Hotel and surroundings are marvels. Exellent kitchen.
Really nice traditional hotel good clean rooms , fantastic location in a really nice historic village , cobbled streets timber framed houses. Good walking for the dog along riverbank. No secure parking , had to park car @150 metres away on outskirts of village . There are no cars allowed in the village.Breakfast was basic , very little choice
We found that this hotel was in a beautiful historic setting with a quiet relaxing ambience, which made you feel like you had gone back in time.
