Cons: There was no wifi but that was okay as it was relaxing.

Pros: The property was set in the countryside, quiet and just what we wanted. The room was comfortable and very clean. The food was excellent (both evening meal and breakfast) and we liked the fact that virtually everything we ate and drank, was produced on the farm. I would recommend having an evening meal as it was delicious! Stephanie, the hostess was very welcoming and made us feel very at home.

6.8 Good
Pros: The gardens and setting are idyllic. The photo is absolutely accurate.
Cons: We were disappointed that the doors to our rooms did not lock properly. When we left during the day we were unable to lock our door and at night we were not able to lock it from the inside. This is something that I feel they need to repair if they want to continue renting out rooms. Otherwise the rooms were lovely, spacious and bright.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A fabulous Chateau hotel set in an equally fabulous Botanical garden. Whilst the garden was open to the public we had open access early morning and after closing. A beautiful array of plants, birds and trees. The room was excellent, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was extra but well worth the cost.
Cons: The toilet door would not close in our room

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible lodging set in the middle of extensive gardens. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable. Wonderful breakfast, great staff.
Cons: No heat in the room. ( a small heater in the bathroom)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is rather isolated and even my sat-nav had some problems - but there are a few signs for the Gardens. On arrival at the Gardens the staff will open the gates and tell you to park by the Chateau and someone will meet you. The bedrooms are large, clean and with a comfortable bed. There are tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was clean and had a suitable shower - but the net curtains do not provide sufficient privacy at night. The night was quiet - with the sound of nightingales. There is no restaurant and so evening meals have to be obtained elsewhere. Breakfast was ok. The great plus to this venue are the magnificent gardens.
Cons: No curtains in the bathroom - except net ones.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful surprise. The gardens are stunning, chateaux owners made us very welcome & very accommodating. The breakfast was enjoyable, with locally made produce.
Cons: It would be good to have a walk in shower, the baths are huge and very fitting for the rooms, but not very easy to get in &out.

Pros: This is a beautiful, historic home and gorgeous botanic garden that guests have access to throughout the visit. Staff were accomodating, and the room was comfortable and spacious.
Cons: Bathroom only had a bathtub (no shower). Our room didn't have wifi connection. The breakfast was 15 euros a person.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The gardens are exceptional. And the family/staff are warm, conversational, and very easy to like!
Cons: Breakfast needs to be better and more in keeping with the level of the property and the gardens. It is too basic and therefore “let’s down” the property as a whole v

Cons: shower was a bit cold
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful, if slightly remote area. Cows, chickens and a nice little farm. Very clean rooms.
Cons: Very simple room. no toiletries except a bottle of hand soap. In a lovely farm setting, but I didn't get the sense that we were encouraged to wander about too much. Breakfast was just bread. there was apple juice and hot drinks, but no other food. Bread was slightly stale. Cheese, eggs or fruit even would have been a very nice addition. Arrived on a Sunday evening--be warned its VERY hard to find anything open on a Sunday in France--especially in small villages. We drove to three before we found one small creperie open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bread was delicious and made by the one of the owners. The jam and butter was also made by the owners and was amazing. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming.
Cons: Take a torch as part of the path is not lite at night and it is very dark.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Space for the children to spread out, living area to use. Chickens. Loved all the home made food.
Cons: The children felt the swings were sad and broken but loved the space to run around in the garden and chat to the chickens.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is nice, very cozy and quiet, the disposition, kindness, help and the service of the owners has been very good, they make you feel at home. Their recommendations to visit sites have been excellent, I recommend you if you go somewhere ask them before. The pool is great my kids really enjoyed it. We have had a very good time Thank you for everything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This property was nicely remote from everything. The right spot for a quiet and peaceful time. Clean and very welcoming. The owners were very lovely. They told us so good about Brittany and the locally famous making of “Pomme” jam. It tasted so good that it would so great if more people could enjoy it too.
Cons: No tv and no wifi. Is this important?
