8.8 Excellent
Pros: breakfast excellent, beautiful hotel, dinner excellent
Cons: no parking at property, unload closely but parking was a fair walk the first day. room may have been a bit damp or dusty- my allergies acted up.(old building)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel! Amazing rooms! Right in the centre of a beautiful old village. Very friendly staff. Free drink in the hotel’s caves was a nice touch. Great location - Easy to visit nearby vineyards by walking.
Cons: There didn’t seem to be many food options in the village. Times on Google didn’t always reflect the reality. We did the spa circuit in the hotel - this was possibly overpriced for what it was. It would have been a nice touch to include this as a free activity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful, centrally located, historic building with a cool cave bar. And inexpensive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very congenial.
Cons: Interior room w/no windows. Rather expensive for what we got. Wifi was very weak and would not show on several of our devices.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms, comfy bed, great shower, clean, friendly helpful staff & great breakfast & dinner. Just a fabulous place to stay & relax. The town is a beautiful medieval maze of cobbled streets. No cars so really peaceful but you can park very close.
Cons: Steam room needed to be hotter but nice hot tub which was an extra.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely, bed very comfortable. Would have liked a room with a bathtub though. Shower, robe and products were all great.
Cons: Breakfast pastries were mostly store bought with one homemade cake. The others were uninteresting and too sweet. We had a room which opened internally so there was no way to have fresh air in our room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored boutique hotel with large tastefully decorated rooms. Great hot and cold breakfast choices. Helpful and accommodating staff.
Cons: The town is completely pedestrian (wonderful) so do not attempt to drive to hotel even if your GPS directs you to do so!! Call the hotel and ask them for assistance.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay. I liked the bedroom I had. Comfy and clean. Worlds most squeaky floorboards. Hope I didn't disturb other guests. The owner was awesome. Lots of knowledge as he has lived there his whole life. I was super comfy at this place. It is simple, clean, and located in a great spot. I would stay again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very welcoming and our host was super. Our muddled attempts at English-Spanish conversion was entertaining but we managed.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome was very good and the room was very clean and spacious. Our host was very nice and forgave our lack of Spanish and made sure we could understand all that we needed to. She was very nice and very friendly and an added bonus to your stay are the family dogs who make you feel very welcome on arrival. The area in which the accomodation is situated is beautiful and only 3km from an amazing national park with good cycling at a beautiful lake ... It is also easily accessible for Vitoria Gastiaz with its historical centre and murals. The accomodation offers breakfast which is good and plentiful and is relaxed and homely, the shower is very good and quite a gadget great for after a whizz about on your bike or a walking tour of the city.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was really nice and spacious, the bathroom too. We enjoyed Jacuzzi shower as well. The house is quiet and in the countryside but close to Victoria (15 min drive). Breakfast was really good, we had even handmade cakes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very clean and modern room in the house of a working farm set in a small hamlet in the countryside. Cattle were in the field opposite. Good outside seating for a sunny evening. Close to the motorway so an easy overnight stop. Good Spanish-style breakfast. Friendly woman host.
Cons: All good.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: location next to vineyard, wonderful view, size of the room, free soft drinks in the fridge, nice bathroom
Cons: too long tasting dinner (too long breaks between dishes - we were waiting around 20 minutes for a dessert)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was very beautiful and the free tour through the winery was interesting. Our room was spacious and the view was breathtaking. And the breakfast was delicious and the view outside of the window was lovely.
Cons: Although the view and the location was perfect the room wasn't worth the money. For that money you can stay in much nicer places (but probably without the view). Amd the food at the dinner in the restaurant wasn't good, nothing was freshly prepared and it was too expensive.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant staff, especially reception. Great food and a beautiful property.
Cons: Twin beds pushed together would benefit from a topper pad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and amenities were great. The location and views are breathtaking.
Cons: Small restaurant needs advanced reservations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the most gorgeous property! We were blown away. Our room was phenomenal with the most gorgeous view of the vineyards right out our window. The free breakfast was incredible. They included a tour of the winery with our stay. Exceeded our expectations by far. Maybe our favorite trip ever.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great attention to detail. Beautifully manicured and maintained. Creative and thoughtful layout. Excellent cellar tour . Very beautiful site
Cons: Nothing, except perhaps the ubiquity of canned music . Location is amongst vineyards some distance from towns
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Service, rooms, food and the overall experience was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is heaven on earth, it’s stunning, the food is delicious, the wine is good, wine cellar and the tunnels with the niches are spectacular. Will definitely be coming back.
Cons: The only thing missing in this hotel is sauna and jacuzzi facilities. Other than that, it’s 5* in my opinion

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hosts, clean comfortable rooms. And ideally located as a home base while exploring the Basque Country.
Cons: Food was basic; we were the only guests in the dining room in the evening in the off season. Breakfast on the other hand was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Javi and Katya, the owners of the Hotel Rural Los Roturos are the most friendly and welcoming people I've ever met. Katya's smile can light up the room and Elena and Sylvie, their two staff are equally delightful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by the most beautiful mountain scenery but is well placed just off the main road between Vitoria and Estella. The area is fantastic for walkers and cyclists and is just on the edge of the beautiful Iski National Park. Golfers would enjoy the Iski Golf Course, which was designed by Seve, and is only a 20 minute drive from the hotel . Our room was spacious, airy, quiet, beautifully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean. The bar was always busy and seemed to be the hub of the village for the locals, which helped to create a marvellous atmosphere. The Basque people are so friendly and we were genuinely made to feel at home. We stayed 6 nights and ate in the restaurant every evening. The quality of the meals that Javi produces is excellent and the value for money is amazing. The mid week menu is only 14 euros for three great courses including a bottle of very good local wine - tapas type snacks are available in the bar - and the weekend menu is good value as well. The breakfasts were great, with freshly squeezed orange juice, cheese, ham, fruit, omelette, good coffee, and warm bread and jam. We are planning a return trip to the hotel next year to continue to explore this beautiful and unspoilt region.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
7.1 Good
Pros: room decoration, nice and clean, great location for walking in the woods
Cons: overcharging items in the meal, failure to accommodate 2 single beds
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff. They make me feeling very welcome. Very nice food. All in acceptable price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were welcoming and very helpful as were all the staff and bar customers. For our sins we speak no Spanish but they went the extra mile to understand us. Breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals. Very comfortable and extremely clean room and lounge.
Cons: Wifi worked OK if slowly but this is a genuine Spanish village where you should not have gone if you wanted to spend your time on an electronic device rather than enjoying the surroundings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, I cannot describe how amazing our stay was with Katya and her husband, Javi. They were such kind and generous people who just genuinely wanted you to have the best time. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, food was so delicious and very affordable (we ate there every day throughout our two night stay). They were so kind to lend us their own bikes with no charge when we found out that the price of rentals was too much for us. We can't wait to return one day soon! Highly recommended for a relaxing time with good food and good company. There so much to see and do surrounding the beautiful area, you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much for having us, we loved our stay and getting to know you both!
Cons: Nothing, we had the most unbelievable time
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location near the Izki park entrance, nice bar and restaurant, cosy room
Cons: If you want to catch and early sleep you may have a problem as the house and rooms is not very sound insulated. But for Spanish timing with sleep after midnight not an issue
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! Very good breakfast with fresh orange juice, every day another local cheese and another home made jam,... Menu of the day: good price/quality, typical local dishes, home made desserts. Ideal place to relax and enjoy walks in nature in the surroundings.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Once in the flat it was within walking distance of most of the town. Victoria Gasteiz has many very good bars and restaurants.
Cons: Parking and unloading luggage was not convenient. Charging even for tea bags and coffee capsules seems ungenerous.
7.5 Good
Pros: No breakfast was offered, but in the room there were snacks and food for breakfast that you could purchase leaving the money in a pot, for a reasonable price, including coffee for free. The room was big and comfortable and the staff allowed us a late check out of two hours for free, which we needed for work.
Cons: The toilet was very smelly, ugly smell coming from the shower. Although we closed the door of the bathroom, in the morning I was sick because of the smell overnight.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean and comfortable apartment. Great location and very good parking. Owners really friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Design, confort and placement
Cons: Noisy room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything fantastic, to return soon.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good and convenient location. They kept my large luggage the day before check-in.
Cons: It's a little bother to have to call in 30 minutes before check-in.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located, fully equipped kitchenette
Cons: This is not a hotel, it’s an apartment divided into few separate rooms with individual bathrooms, thin walls, you hear all your neighbors and their sounds in great details. Because it’s not a hotel there’s no lobby, no amenities, just nothing. This place would make a cute $50/night AirBnB option but by non means a $120/night stay.

Pros: Decided to stay here as it was not too far from the Ferry port at Santander & in the right direction for us. So pleased we made this choice, friendly staff, fabulous bedroom, great breakfast & dinner in a fabulous dining room. We will return.
Cons: Nothing to dislike at all.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was so neat staying in a parador! The room was comfortable and modern. The breakfast, while pricey, was exceptional, and the dining room was gorgeous. The historic bar was very cool and the gin & tonics were perfection.
Cons: The dinner menu could use more price points as well as more vegetarian options. Also, it'd be great if the property had more historic touches so that you know you're at a parador (particularly in the rooms and hallways).
7.9 Good
Cons: The restaurant was most disappointing. Limited menu, we both had to send our meat back, as it had not been cooked as ordered, then I had to send my meal back again as the potatos were stone cold.Breakfast was also poor, with fried eggs left sitting in a sea of cooking oil, rather than being cooked to order, as always used to happen at this Parador!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service was excellent staff recommendations were bang on
Cons: N/A
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the rural location, the terrace and the breakfast. It is beautiful tranquil spot. The old building is beautifully restored.
Cons: The bar should have more staff particularly before 5:00. It is hard to get good service.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place, easy parking, close to the main highway and also to Victoria, well kept property, and a comfortable room. Dinner was good, even if the menu was not too wide.
Cons: They could have a a couple of waiters more during dinner time. The dining room is a busy place.

Cons: Our room was slightly small. I thought we had booked a bigger one.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location and room size were amazing.
Cons: Could’ve been a bit cleaner for the price, but not that it wasn’t clean just wasn’t spotless. There was rarely anyone at reception which we were made aware of through an email but having someone there more often would’ve been more helpful.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Attic bedroom with roof top window with no way to block out light properly so not possible to sleep. Up winding stairs, did not feel that safe in case of fire Price was high considering there is no reception, and no answer to telephone if you called in the afternoon. No toilet brush in bathroom.

Pros: This property is situated in the heart of the historic area of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Comfortable bed, clean room.
Cons: The location is very hard to find in a car! Steep stairs - difficult to carry suitcases. Parking difficult.
7.7 Good

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean interesting rooms, very friendly staff, nice bonuses - computer access, skylight, etc.
Cons: If church bells bother you, bring earplugs, also some pedestrian noise at night, but we were there on a weekend...
7.0 Good
Cons: very difficult to find parking for the car
7.7 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff: they couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Vitoria with wonderful views over the square, which, while we were there was alive with festivities, music, drama and pageant. Breakfast was not large but of excellent quality.
Cons: It is awkward to find and parking is a problem, but quite frankly our stay was well worth that hassle.

Cons:
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotrl is situated excellently - in the historical building La Casa De Los Arquillos, just in the place, where historical quarter adjoins the most beautiful part of new city. The stuff is very friendly. Wireless internet and a desktop computer are both available for free.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: good service, good breakfast, location, free use of internet facilities, stylish and modern rooms.
Cons: due to the location in the old part town we found a few dodgy characters hanging around the entrance to the hotel on occasion, but wouldn't let that stop us staying there again.

Pros: All good - everything worked perfectly.
Cons: A little homogeneous perhaps.
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet after 6pm when the building noise stopped
Cons: Parking was awful to find as building works blocked the roads
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a well run large hotel on a good location
Cons: The breakfast was fair but the coffee was unpalatable out of some large machine that only provided 80 degree C tea water (perhaps for coffee as well?) The air-con either cools or heats depending on the time of year. The room was hot and there was no way to cool other than opening the windows onto the fairly noisy street. The shower head was filthy but the criticism was taken seriously
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Parking Location Nothing to complain about
Cons: No complaints at all

Cons: Nothing!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very cosy, good parking, good location for travelers.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok though no personnel present. Carpark.
Cons: Difficult to find even with a GPS. The rooms are small and the doors to the rooms impossible to close without making a lot of noise. A lot of noise from one room to the next. We were constantly disturbed by conversations in adjoining rooms and people returning to their rooms late at night. We could even see the light under the wall from the next bedroom. Bathrooms were ckean but couldn’t get anything but cold water in the shower. When checking out the owner or manager never stopped talking in Spanish to another member of staff and didn’t address me at all. Very rude. One of the worst places in terms of comfort and friendliness that we have ever stayed in.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was exceptional, sausage and bacon wasn’t how English people would have them but we were in Spain. The scrambled eggs were good and the continental part of the breakfast had loads of choice and a good selection of cereal’s. Shower very good sauna type sprays all round.
Cons: Didn't stop in the bar as there wasn't any bear on draught. The bar looked nice and had character though. Couldn't explore area very well as the weather was pooring down, but will stop there again to explore properly when carying out a return journey.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel built in the 1680’s originally a monastery. Loads of character. Situated about a ten minute drive from the hubbub of Vitoria Gasteiz. The restaurant was lovely they do have what they call an express menu in the evening for 22 euros which is 3 courses does not include drink. We chose from the a la carte menu and had lobster rice for 16 euros per person excellent. A lovely bottle of wine for about the same price. Would definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm very friendly staff
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like

Cons: Shower too small. Every time i turned i either opened the door or closed the water lever.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is very good, very close to the city center. The room itself is nice and modern. Breakfast selection is good. Hotel staff is friendly.
Cons: Our bathroom was really tiny and impossible to move for 2 people. Bath’s floor gets slippery and it can be dangerous. You have to wait longer for the elevator in the morning.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location for city centre. Clean and excellent servicing of the room. Breakfast very nice and plenty of variety.
Cons: Reception staff a little clinical and brusque.
4.8 Okay
Pros: the location is really excellent and the room is good
Cons: - the air condition does not work well during the night. I've complained but received no response; - noisy room; - there was a constant smell of cigarette in the last days. I've complained two times, but nothing was done (as it seems was standard protocol on this hotel)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was well located in the centre & within walking distance to restaurants, shops and attractions. Disabled facilities good with lift from footpath up to foyer this was also handy for parents with baby prams as well. Plus car park available.
Cons: Only we were not aware that there was parking for cars directly at the front of the Hotel so you could unload or organize parking below. This was only a comment not a dislike would have been nice to know.. Otherwise there was nothing I did not like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A very well located hotel in the centre of the town with lovely views.
Cons: The underground car park was very restricted for larger vehicles.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location top and very good breakfast
Cons: The mini bar poorly supplied
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked to location and the room was a nice size with a nice view of the park. We were appreciative of the staff for allowing us to check into our room a bit early so we didn’t need to store our bags.
Cons: The internet service at the hotel ranged from horribly poor to nonexistent both in the room and in the hotel lobby. We showed a strong WiFi signal but had little or no connection to the outside world. We needed to use our Skyroam hotspot roaming device to get anything accomplished online while at the hotel. While the hotel apparently has an on-site garage parking it was either full or not available to us for some other reason upon our arrival. The public garage is only about 10 minutes away (16 Euro per day) so it worked out OK.
7.9 Good
Pros: friendly employees, very good breakfast, nice location, very clean facilities
Cons: you can hear everything in your room, its like there are no walls, almost 20eur for parking per day is kind of expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good for walking, terrible for parking.
Cons: Parking was a problem with the hotel lot full and having to move suitcases several blocks away. I like to have a clothing iron in the room. There was a wedding and we were unable to get an iron to prepare our own clothes for our business meetings.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Easy to access by car. Next to a large shopping center.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was not so good (of course not so bad) as for a 4 stars hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were making a long car trip to visit family in France and wanted a hotel to make the “pit stop” halfway there, and Boulevard was exactly what we needed for a rest. - cleanliness of the room and comfortable bed - staff was cordial - breakfast was not exuberant but had variety and was within expectation. - parking available around the hotel - having a large shopping center and supermarket at walking distance where you can buy anything you need last minute or even eat something quick at the shopping food court. - close to the main highways access - good for travelers passing through the town and that don’t have as main objective to go to the center of city
Cons: Did not register anything that I didn’t like.
7.9 Good
Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean
Cons: Not a nice part of town but the hotel is excellent.
5.0 Okay
Pros: sheets were dirty and where not changed the next day
Cons: sheets were dirty and where not changed the next day

8.5 Excellent (714 reviews)

6.7 Good
Pros: Loved the view from the top tower and the location in the beautiful town of La Guardia. Food in the restaurant was also stunning. It’s easy to park in the local car park when staying here, it’s free.
Cons: I’ve given a poor rating for this hotel because when booking somewhere to stay, the ultimate priorities are getting a good night’s sleep and being able to take a shower. The first big problem was that the shower in our room was absolutely terrible, it was a mixer tap that you then hung on a small ring on the wall. Unfortunately this would not point in the right direction, either soaking the wall or the floor while only partially showering my head! On one occasion, it fell off and hit my partner on the head, where he ended up with a bump. The bed was also very strange, it was a queen sized bed and a single bed pushed together, I’m used to this arrangement in Europe but this time both beds had been made up separately so essentially we were in two separate beds.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This boutique 10 room hotel on the quiet edge of tiny Laguardia was built in the 1800's as a private "castle". The rooms and baths are spacious, well appointed and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast, though a tad expensive, is ample and delicious. The view from the tower is not to be missed. All the rooms are nice and each has a name, but I believe that ours, El Fabulista, was likely best. Be aware that as befits a small B&B you will be given your own entry key staff are off site at night. As a base for visiting nearby wineries (where visits MUST be arranged in advance, unlike at US wineries) Laguardia can't be beat. It may be crowded with tourists (mostly Spanish) all day and parking hard to find but by staying here you will experience it all empty and serene in the early morning and evening. Be aware that cars are not permitted in Laguardia and the hotel lacks an elevator so you will need to lug your bags 100 feet or so to the hotel and then up the stairs.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great old building in a good location. A treat to stay here. It is older but you are staying in a castle so that is part of the charm. Loved La Guardia great place to visit.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and conveniently placed
Cons: Would have thought for the price there would have been more facilities like a kettle in the room, would have much preferred that than a mini sauna. Had a very pricey meal in the restaurant but was very disappointed as the meal arrived cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We very much enjoyed our two night stay in this historic building. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, however, the thoughtful attention by the manager made our stay quite special. She really went above and beyond to help us with reservations, suggestions and more.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Service was poor. Breakfast very limited. Beds uncomfortable and rooms were in need of much repair.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Laguardia is not car friendly, it is a beautiful town with narrow pedestrian-only streets, so no cars inside. Parking is a lottery, though the hotel has a good car park just below it. It is located on a hill, so be prepared to carry bags upstairs. The hotel itself is fabulous, old but clean with delightfully ramshackle spaces and our room was just the same...with a huge bath and shower hose which did not fit the wall fixing. We did not care as the building is unique and fun. Climb the tower for the views of the mountains and valley, do not miss that.
Cons: The restaurant is underneath and not quite the standard of the hotel, either in decor or food, though there are many good tapas bars and restaurants in the town nearby.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, close and quiet, and we had a beautiful view from the hill to the wine yards. Room was very clean and furnitured with a good taste. An infra-red sauna in the room and a terrace in the tower with a spledid 360 degree view were extras made our visit memorable.
Cons: The breakfast was missing a bit love and home or locally based baking.
