fair ratio between quality and price
Comfortable room and ideal for a stopover and free wifi
overall it provided everything we needed on our way to the south. Very comfortable and good fun.
Location was excellent for us - close to motorway and city centre Could have coffee available in room
very polite staff who were very accomodating. needed tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and aircon.
Easy to find the hotel location (not too far from the highway exit). Very clean and confort bedrooms. The employees were nice people. Very bad dinner: everything we asked was not possible. They could not handle our meals requests (based on the official menu) as employees always said: "sorry we do not have it today but tomorrow surely". The breakfast was also poor. Too few things, not re-filled when empty. Conclusion: nice bedrooms to sleep but very bad restaurant !
Room was comfortable and handy to motorway although had difficulty in finding it due to lack of exact address as we used sat-nav The lack of any catering facility was very disappointing especially as there was a restaurant advertised but unfortunately it was closed. The staff offered no alternative and we were forced to seach the immediate area only finding a fast food outlet (Quick) which was far from satisfactory.
Convenience for access to all main through routes
I have stayed at this hotel before. The service was good and the staff friendly. I requested a non smoking room and was given one. Breakfast was adequate and as expected. I had dinner also and my choice of meal from the ala carte menu was very good and well prepared. Price reasonable. Bathroom had a bad sewer odour at times
comfortable, clean, near the motorway for a stop-off. very good.
Have stopped at Logis Hotel Teyssier several times on journeys through France. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. I have dietary problems and chef very helpful and produces excellent meal - problems always discussed before service so he has time to prepare. Rooms well appointed and furnished but it must be remembered it is a very old building. Each visit some area of hotel has been very tastefully refurbished.
Location and easy to find The booking.com website stated that there would be adjoning rooms for family rooms. This was not the case, instead two doubel beds were fiteed into a medium size room. We felt mislead.
The food was excellent - better than we expected looking at the menu! The bed was rather hard! The television was positioned too high up to watch comfortably.
It was quieter than we'd expected from reviews with a good view over the river. Breakfast was good.
We ate dinner there and it was very good.
Good location next to a beautiful church. The staff was friendly and we had a good dinner in the restaurant.
We were very impressed with just about all aspects of this hotel The only bad point was that online it said check-in was between 1400 and 1800, we arrived at 1630 and the doors were locked till 1700. However this could have been because they were short staffed at that time.
Very nice clean hotel. Ideal for an overnight stay when travelling. No bar or coffee facilities after 2200.
rested and visited the city
Beautiful location, easy to find from Limoges and good food in restaurant. Comfortable rooms. breakfast a little expensive for what was on offer, although pleasant enough
Room was comfortable (Lack of atmosphere) in the dining room. Food
A clean, efficient, modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff (although they only speak French, which you can't fault because it is in France!). It's close to the main road south, so a convenient stop-off place if heading to the Dordogne etc. It has lovely views of the town's lake whihc is right out of the windown... A very peaceful spot, great for a walk or a jog. It has a great little deck/terrace for dinner, really lovely views but as it's north-facing, it's shaded in the mornings so best for lunch/dinner. We thought we had pre-paid this hotel room when we booked on-line. But we were charged the full amount when we got there. It was explained to us that our on-line booking was in fact a reservation and that we had not been charged. I will have to check my bank statements to confirm this but it seems a bit strange taking credit card details when we booked on-line, only to have to pay the full amount when we arrived. If I have failed to read the small print and this siutqation is obvious, then I apologise, but it was a surprise to me. The breakfast was a little bit expensive. It was nice, but at 9 Euros per person it was a little over-priced for what was a light snack.
We liked the view of the lake from the bedroom window. The manager was reasonably affable but untidy and unbusinesslike in appearance. We could not get a drink of any description at 5:30pm when we arrived. The breakfast was adequate, but very basic, which reflects the whole aspect of the hotel.
Pleasant and modern environment with a good breakfast. Exceptionally good restaurant for the evening meal.
The staff were very helpful. The grounds are nice. The food average. As with all french hotels the breakfast was expensive for coffee and a croissant with some cold meats. When the shower failed to work the staff sorted it quickly. The rooms are big enough for a travel cot and nicely appointed. Is It was often hard to find the staff as there is no way of calling then.
