Situated in the Lesse Valley, this elegant accommodation offers a sauna and free Wi-Fi. Saint-Hubert is 20 minutes by car. Bouillon is a 25-minute drive. The functional rooms at Chalet sur Lesse all have a view. They feature a TV and private bathroom with a bath or shower. The breakfast buffet consists of fresh rolls, spreads and tea and coffee. Elegant stay in the glorious surroundings of the upper Lesse Valley.
Pros: Great breakfast in a very unique environment, especially the stuffed animals ;=)
Pros: Room and en-suite were large with balcony. We had a room to the rear which is quieter than the rooms overlooking the road to the front.Decor in rest of hotel quirky but interesting.Great small lift to all floors if mobility is an issue. Breakfast was good and plentiful and owner was very nice. Would visit again.
Cons: it's on a blind corner which is a bit dangerous when leaving. Does not do any evening meals so had to go out for them. It's a very rural area so had to travel several miles to find somewhere nice to eat out.
Pros: Excellent, on the terrace
Pros: The terrace and garden are very nicely maintained and pleasant to have a drink or breakfast there, if the weather allows.
Cons: The breakfast is OK, though there could be more natural ingredients and homemade things, as one can expect in rural tourism. As the hotel doesn't have any supermarkets, restaurants or bars in its proximity, it would be very useful to have some basic snacks in the bar to make people's stay there more comfortable. Reception should facilitate more useful and up-to-date information about activities near by (tracking, cultural events in the surrounding villages etc.).
Pros: This is the perfect winter stay in the Ardennes. The decoration is authentic and has a lot of character which made this chalet very cozy and warm. The breakfast was also excellent. The host was very friendly and I would definitely recommend Chalet Sur Lesse to friends and family. Can’t wait to come back!
Cons: As in many old houses the sound isolation is not that great in the room. Not much to do about this, but for the rest the rooms are clean and comfortable, the mattress and pillow could be improved. Other than that the stay was really pleasant and the common rooms were perfect.
Pros: We asked for two extra pillows and to fix the lamp. The owner fixed it immediately. Nice bar area with a good selection on the carte menu
Cons: The owner is alone. It means he can't be everywhere at he same time. I had to use the bell at teh front desk to see him.
Pros: Everything (except for location)!
Cons: Location is ideal for remote stay but not for sightseeing
Pros: Nice looking old style charm. Large dining areas and cosy bar. Gastonomic dinner was excellent.
Cons: Hotel felt cold in areas. No shower curtain in slippery bath. Had to open toilet resevoir to fix it.Mimimal lighting in room. Minimal Staff (2). Was way too expensive @ 127 Euros even with a balcony with wooden floor that was green with algae, so also slippery. Matress also needed re-newing. There are much better hotels for around 80 Euros, especially the PIP Magraff in St. Vith. ( Best this Year.! )
Pros: the food is really first class, and the welcome excellent
Pros: good restaurant, friendly staff
Pros: Excellent food
Pros: The hotel owner and the food were both superb

Pros: The room was great, clean, bright, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, with local jams, home made yoghurt and other nice things. The owners were very helpful and we felt they cared about everything in a very nice way. Everything about this place gave a feeling of having been done with love and care. We spent three very happy days there. Very strongly recommended!
Pros: Quantity and quality of the breakfast was excellent
Pros: The room was very cozy, quaint and comfortable, and the included breakfast is fresh, delicious and filling! The owners are friendly and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The view from the room over the hills is pretty, and there are many opportunities to hike and explore nearby villages in the Walloon part of Belgium. Great value for the price you pay. Recommended!
With a stay at Auberge le Temps des Saveurs in Paliseul, you'll be 22.2 mi (35.7 km) from Caves of Hans and 29.7 mi (47.8 km) from Orval Abbey. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: A good place to stay: Clean and friendly staff
Pros: The location, the garden, the food, the easy going staff
Cons: Sometimes noisily overcrowded.
Pros: Nice room, Noise insulation could have been better though
Cons: The staff, Pretty rude when I asked about something, and became pretty haughty...
Cons: breakfast - limited choice
Pros: Recently refurbished rooms over an adjoining restaurant and brasserie run from the same kitchen, with excellent local food, all at reasonable prices.
Cons: The breakfast could be a bit more generous for the price. The village is a bit out of the way (but that means it's quiet).
Pros: Hotel - restaurant - bistro - bar in the centre of town. Basic breakfast, clean and comfi rooms.
Cons: Very cold welcome and service
When you stay at Hôtel La Grange de Juliette in Libin, you'll be on the boardwalk and 14.6 mi (23.5 km) from Caves of Hans. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Property is clean and new. Good furnishings. Lovely big room. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The place is like an echo chamber. So when they have loud restaurant guests staying up past 2:30am you will be staying up too. Restaurant supposedly closes at 9:30. Complaints to staff did nothing. Loudest room I’ve ever stayed in aside from one in Hanoi next to a nightclub. Manager was not too concerned or apologetic in the slightest the next day but eventually offered a fair discount.
Cons: I had a fraudulent booking on this one. When i called them for confirmation, the man said the room was not available for us, and they forgot to update booking.com. So we didn't travel. But i paid for the stay and now they refuse to refund. The woman says she waited for us, not knowing that her husband told us not to come.
Pros: Well arranged room (although bed made some noise when moving), very kind and friendly staff, nice reception, good restaurant with local products and beers, great breakfast,
Pros: If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be. Staff very friendly, breakfast good, beds comfy.
Cons: Minor detail: but the kids found the wi-fi signal not optimal/strong enough. :-)
Pros: Staff was very kind and helpful. Very welcoming people
Cons: The room had bad sound isolation and the wifi was not working well
Pros: Room was spacious with a comfortable double bed and had a bath with shower. I had a meal in the restaurant which was absolutely superb. I
Pros: We rented the family room. It was a good size. It was very clean. We stayed one night on our way home from Germany so location was good. Breakfast was good a good buffet. The lady in charge of it kept everything topped up.
Cons: Didn't feel very welcome. No one at reception when we arrived we had to grab some ones attention. Happened the same when checking out. We had a meal at there on site restaurant which was spoilt by the 1 1/2 hour wait for our food. Difficult to complain because of language barrier. But when finally understood we were tod to relax you are on holiday !!!!!!

Pros: Warm welcome, very clean facilities, nice calming garden. We appreciated the little details, like a candle on the table for breakfast:).Thank you!
Cons: Everything was ok, but as a suggestion maybe, if possible to have extra smaller pillows to sleep on.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Wellness was 1st class: jacuzzi, heated pool, sauna, walk-in shower. Ping-pong table also 1st class. Nice extra.
Cons: The day light coming into the room. We are used to sleep with 'rolluiken', in the dark. Next time we will make sure to have pancakes also on Sunday, by getting up earlier!
Pros: Wonderful hospitality in a lovely house with a homely feel.
Cons: Leaving! Would happily have stayed for longer.
Pros: The location....quiet and just off the motorway...the reception by Steffan and Serge, welcoming and the offer of a drink on arrival..after a 400 mile drive was the icing on the cake. The building has been refurbished to the highest of standards...and our room was clean, well furnished with comfortable large bed. I can see why L'albzia has constant high ratings.. 10/10 hardly does it justice...we are already looking forward to staying again. Almost forget to mention the swimming pool and sauna block...absolutely stunning..
Cons: That we only had one night....
Pros: Was a lovely property to break our return journey. Great hosts and it was interesting discussing over dinner with them. We hope to return.

Pros: Hospitality was very good.
Cons: Rooms a bit noisy.
Pros: Very (!) friendly staff/ good terrass/ good food
Cons: Internet connection could be improved
Pros: Everything it is lovely
Pros: Situated in a wonderful tiny village with picturesque surroundings. Very quiet and secluded. Extremely modern shower and beautiful tile throughout. We stayed in a building connected to the main hotel/restaurant with modern accommodations - beautifully decorated and comfortable. Family run with family living on the premises. Wonderful continental breakfast in what appeared to be an 18th or even 17th century building.

Cons: Staff weren’t clear about payment. I tried to pay at check in but was told it was paid through booking.com. Then days later I had an email from them saying I hadn’t paid and had to international transfer funds which cost an extra $15. Not good
Pros: Lovely hotel in an easy to reach location. Close to Redu where there are some great restaurants. The room was great, large and very clean and perfect for a small family.
Cons: For the price of the room breakfast should have been included but was an additional €15 per person. Should have checked the finer detail before. However had the breakfast assortment been well stocked this would have been ok, but when the selection had run low and it was not restocked therefore the availability of items was poor. Should be better considering the extra amount charged.
Pros: Everything clean helpful and friendly staff excellent evening meal breakfast was also good this hotel was a bit over our normal budget but was well worth it. If we are ever back it that area again we would stay there again
Pros: Great breakfast, good towels
Cons: Rooms are not cosy
Pros: Good breakfast, nice and cozy rooms.

Pros: Nice rooms. Great restaurant.
Cons: Doors are not built for tall people. I banged my head several times.
Pros: Nice fresh breakfast. Modern but Cousy rooms
Cons: Very limited English/ Dutch skills with staff
Pros: Nice hotel, good price-quality relation. Nice breakfast.
Cons: We went there in Christmas break and most of the bookshops were closed. But this is not something that the hotel can control.
Pros: nice and cozy atmosphere + great, warm and welcoming staff
Cons: hit my head at the door frame:-))
Pros: The peaceful surroundings, friendly staff and dogs welcome everywhere!
Cons: Would have liked a few vegan options at breakfast, soy yogurt etc.
Pros: Helpful staff, car park for my motorbike, good buffet breakfast, nice evening meals, good location for touring Luxembourg and the Ardennes. Good value for money
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay and will return. The restaurant is excellent and you have a choice of a full or more limited menu to suit your budget. The breakfast was brilliant. The room was light and airy and immaculate. Our dog was welcomed too.
Pros: Easy going. Nice and well kept room. Flexible staff.
Cons: Breakfast - f.e. basic bread, no fresh baked bread from bakery or genuine dark bread.
Pros: Lovely real fires burning which was needed! Felt very cosy. Food was excellent, I had carrot & pumpkin soup and boar stew which were delicious. The kitchen looked like a very efficient outfit! Good value for money. Friendly staff. Would recommend. Room was fine, bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but manageable for a solo traveller.
Cons: Breakfast was a little disappointing, given the lovely meal the previous evening. But, good coffee and plenty of fresh breads to choose from.
Pros: Basic room, clean bathroom, breakfast ok.
Pros: The hotel includes a Michelin rated restaurant. We had a fabulous meal with perfect service for a reasonable price. I'm on a bike trip with friends and plan to return with my wife just to eat here again.
Pros: The food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious. The wine was good and the garden was very nice.
Cons: The bathroom could do with a renovation and there was noise from a van from the kitchen.

Pros: Breakfast excellent. This property selected because its location is where we wanted to break our journey. Proprietor very friendly and pleasant.
Cons: The wash-basin was very small ; there was no shelf to hold razor, shaving brush, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, etc ; the lighting in the bedroom is not very bright.
Pros: Excellent host and extremely comfy bed. The breakfast was absolutely great too!!!
Pros: Our Host was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The room was petite and very very clean. The Shower was excellent and my daughter loved the loft area for sleep. Our breakfast was excellent (made fresh) and served on the lovely outdoor seating area. The location is nice and very close to town with a few restaurants and bars, would be a great location to start off a bike ride through the Ardennes. Highly recommend!
Pros: Beautiful and unique. Very friendly and helpful host. Could order exactly what we wanted for breakfast. Bed was really comfortable. Good restaurant in village which is about 15 minutes walk away. Parking was off the road in an individual parking bay.
Cons: Slightly cramped but the ambience made up for it.
Pros: This is just a magical place!!! Super house in the village. The cleanest air. Very nice and lovely hosts. We arrived about 23 hours. It was cold outside, but the caring owners previously turned on the heating and heated the room. Natural materials and original furniture and appliances (not IKEA :)). In a small room everything is placed very thoughtfully and has everything you need. Breakfast is prepared only for you and served exactly at your convenience. Amazing cleanliness and comfort! It's impossible to list all the benefits! The room has two thick books of thanks from the guests. And we gladly left a review too. I am sure that in the summer this place is generally amazing and I will definitely return there! I travel a lot and live in different places of different levels. I can say that this is one of the most amazing places where I stayed!
Pros: The owner waited for us until midnight, since we were stuck in cues in Germany and offered us beer. The room was lovely and we got a very good breakfast in the room. We and our doggie had a great night and the location is very convenient if you are travelling, since it's very near to the highway. Very suggested!
Pros: Very comfortable bed and very nice breakfast.
Cons: It felt a little cramped and difficult to move around . We felt there was a bit too much furniture for a small space although it was November and raining so we were unable to use the garden space.
Pros: The host was nice and served us an excellent breakfast. The house was lovely with many nice details.

Pros: The room was cozy with a decor that resembled a mountain chalet. Everything was snuggled into the room well and it was exceptionally comfortable. It was well equiped with a small refrigerator and dining information for travelers that still needer a bite to eat. The continental breakfast was simple but fantastic! There five different homemade jams that merited trying more than once!
Cons: We did not experience this, but, the stairs to the room are quite steep even though there are not a lot of them. It could become difficult to get multiple, big bags to the room.
Pros: Very friendly hosts, very clean and delicious breakfast
Cons: No idea
Pros: We loved our stay at this artist's house. So many interesting pieces of metal & woodwork incorporated into the place. Our room in the attic was like a Canadian tracker's log cabin. The room was small, but very cosy & had everything we needed including a good shower & a comfortable bed. Our hosts went out in the evening & told us to enjoy their house - we explored their large garden & enjoyed the company of their dog & cat out on the terrace through the evening. There were drinks to purchase in the fridge at good prices. We walked in to the local town for an evening meal there were a few restaurants available. Breakfast was excellent - Nicolas, the artist also makes the preserves...a choice of 5; there was also a selection of meats & cheeses, breads, yoghurts etc etc All in all a very good stay.
Cons: The room was very hot, but helped by an air-conditioning unit, although it was too noisy to keep it on all night.
Pros: Great location in Ardennes. Very nice design room! Excellent breakfast made from home/local products. Thank you very much very friendly owner for pleasant accommodation. We enjoyed our short stay here and hope we return here in future.
Cons: Everything was perfect. There is nothing to complain about.
Pros: Great place to stay with fantastic natural atmosphere inside. Delicious breakfasts and very friendly owners.
Pros: The fresh apple juice was very tasty! It was also nice idea to have tea or coffee available
Cons: Breakfast was nice, small suggestion: some fruit or yoghurt.
Pros: It was very adequate, but not overwhelming, as suggested by other reviews.
Pros: The house is set on the edge of a village with lovely country views. The owners/staff were very helpful. The room was fantastic with all wood panelling and old hunting memoralibilia all around. The place is very clean, heating is by convector heaters which work very well. Breakfast was superb with everything you'd expect from a breakfast in Northern Europe.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like however the stairs to the room could be challenging to some people.

Pros: Great place to relax and walk around. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious. You can also nicely spend evenings in this B&B. I would highly recommend La Lune d'Or.
Pros: lovely peaceful isolated location, helpful information given regarding restaurants nearby within a few minutes walk. lots of choice for breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice, great fresh bread, too much to eat
Pros: Very nice location with lovely views over paddocks and farmland. Trampoline and swings in garden, space for the children to play in the autumn leaves outside. Great guest lounge with decent coffee available; self service fridge of beer (at cost), fantastic freshly prepared breakfast.
Cons: The only limitation was the family room being two separate bedrooms off a shared corridor with the third bedroom. That doesn't quite work with very young children. (Not a problem for us as the third bedroom being used by our family too).
