I could list a few good things but the mildew in the rooms kills the whole experience. All the rooms smelled of mildew. We tried swapping out rooms but the smell was pretty constant threw out the hotel. There were 6 of us in different rooms and we all had the same complaint.
The experience was memorable. The front desk asked for mi ID and didnt return it until I noticed later that night.
The hotel is new, and parts of the building it is in are still under construction. The rooms are kind of small, but clean and modern. Pros: The staff is great, very helpful and friendly. Cons: No mini-bar or fridge in the room. I was there for several days and this was a pain. Another pain was the key-card system. The elevators don't work unless your key-card is inserted in a slot, and it was finiky
This Hotel was everything I spected and more. The staff was always nice and ready to help and answer any question we had. Overall is was grate!
Very clean . Very nice staff spoke english
Most of the staff called me by name. They were very accommodating and helpful. I really like the atmosphere and the service. I'm almost afraid to stay anywhere else in B'quilla because I had such a good experience at this hotel. I would have preferred a smoking room but it is a non smoking hotel so it was easy enough to step outside for a smoke.
The customer service is great all around, one of the bell hops was the best, always a smile and super friendly.
For Barranquilla this is a good Hotel and for most western travelers like myself its ideal.Very similar to many of the 3/4 star hotels you can expect to find in the USA. Nice pool. I dont use credit cards and so they wanted to deduct $100 usd from my debit card. They would give me the $100 usd back in CASH in the morning! Breakfast is not very good, could be better.
To much noise through out my stay. I'd asked to be moved but placed in noisy part of hotel, room was not clean and bathroom had problems with shower and lightning. Front desk receptionist was not helpful and not willing to acomodate the problem with the room, she seemed upset when I asked to be change. What a shame I probably won't return
