All-inclusive option with good food.
It was too far from beach, some facilities which was stated in site was not available like free safety box or satelite TV
pool area very busy and the pool was a bit to small
My room was small and there was not much space to move around, the weather was very hot and there were no controls on the air con.
left to do my thing, when a problem occured witm my door access card it was dealt with-and resolved- immediately very noisy, total payment in advance
food Hotel is huge, dirty, room smelled very bad from sewage in the bathroom. Extremely busy and only one lift for hundreds of rooms. Good food but it was an awful crowd at the table. I do not recommend . The worst that I stayed in Spain.
Great value for money, in comparison with other 3* hotels in Torremolinos. Very good variety of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Basic variety of food for all inclusive service. Close to the railway station and to the airport (Taxi in the night from hotel to airport costs 18 eur only). Uncomfortable beds, no double bed, only two separated beds available. To many people in the hotel for available lifts, during the peak hours (breakfast, lunch, dinner time) steps instead of lifts using is needed (please, take to account the 10 floors of hotel) Small hotel swimming pool and related place close to it. It is needed to reserve a place in the very early morning. Quite noisy in the pool area and during the peak hours in the restaurant also connected with chaos. Air conditioning also noisy. Far away from the beach, 20 min by foot, a lot of stairs.
It is located at the Torremolinos station. During my stays, there were evening events at the pool of the hotel till 23:00. I wanted to sleep, I was annoyed by such noisy event.
Friendly staff, good location for where we wanted to be. Very reasonable prices. We only ate breakfast there, and it was absolutely awful although there was a large selection. Saying that, we didn't go for the food... so not really a big deal. Worst cup of coffee I've ever had in Spain though!
That it was next to the beach The room was scruffy/worn out/in need of total refit of furniture and decoration.
close to beach, bars & restaurants & main shopping area in the own easy access by bus or taxi less than 10 min journey, entertainment in hotel & playground for kids apartments were great didnt like that there was a karoki bar nearby that went on until 2 in the morning!!
close to all amenities the room was too small it did not have any air conditioning, the room was not cleaned in the three nights and four days we stay there. when we asked for more towels as only two bath towels were provided we were given out to at reception and told how we should know the rules
very central no need for taxis excellent location nxt to beach interior of hotel a bit out of date, poor lighting between lifts and apartment
We have been going back to timor sol now 3 x a year for the last 5 years or so, good hotel, great location, next to beach ,surrounding area getting quieter every time we go, but can walk 30 mins or less into tormellinos or arryhio or benelmadena, harbour area lovely, and only 5mins walk hotel itself could do with being updated but good value for money rooms pretty basic but are cleaned every day . and have never had any problems. staff all friendly we only ever go self catering as like to eat out at different resturants every night The only fault we have with timor sol aparts is in the summer months really could do with air conditioning in apartments can hire fans but arent enough sockets to run them to keep u cool enough to sleep so wouldnt advise these apartments in the summer months when tempratures hit 40 to 50c
location hallways had very little lighting at night
Good location. Very close to the beach, shops and restuarants. I went as part of a couple and the hotel is very family orientated.
I enjoy staying at the Timor Sol. My first time to stay there was 1998 and I bave been back 15 times since. The location is fantastic. You are right beside the beach, bars, shops and restaurants. Only problem with Timor Sol is no air conditioning in the months of July and August.
Me and My boyfriend stayed at Sol Timor for 3 nights, 4 days Mid August. We were a bit aprehensive because of other bad reviews but as far as we where concerned they are all untrue, The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. It had single beds but they were easy to push together. We took a fan with us because it was rather hot but you are able to hire one there. The pool was very good, yes you had to pay 2.50 euros each for a sunbed but this is very cheap compared to 4.50 on the beach and there was plenty of room to just put out towels to lie on. The pool toilets and showers were always very clean. The supermarket was very good and was good for everyday essentials. 5 Great for kids with flinstone club! Deffinatly recomended!! There was nothing we didn't like, Completely recomended, 5 mins walk to benalmadena and 30 to torremolinos, Will be back next year
