8.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals exceeded expectations. Nothing fancy but good home cooking
7.5 Good
Pros: Great facilities
Cons: The shower pressure was VERY poor.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the 5 course dinner every night. And the staff, especially Heidi, went out of her way to help us.
Cons: Drinks are very expensive. The first night we didn't have warm water. They told us that the switch of the geyser has tripped. We will have hot water the next morning. Unfortunately we didn't have warm water the next morning as well. The staff was very reluctant to move us to another room. After I put up a fight they moved us. The previous evening they told us they will move us to a room with warm water, but when I asked them to move us they were very reluctant. At the end they moved us.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Unhelpful staff. No flexibility. This hotel has no competitors in the area and it shows!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The meals (breakfast and dinner ) were very good. The service was also very good. We liked the location very much. We wish we could stay longer.
Cons: The room was a little small. An airconditioner will be wonderful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location on the river. A good restaurant and bar and well presented hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice
Cons: No issues
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place away from the busy towns. You have to go on unmade roads to get there. But it's worth it and you go across the last pontoon in South Africa to get there. Great fun for the children.
Cons: It wasn't very sound proof. So you could hear the people upstairs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner good. The kitchen prepared a special vegetarian meal for me, thanks! Great location from which to visit the De Hoop Nature reserve.
7.5 Good
Pros: So neat and clean. Rooms are lovely. The gardens are beautiful and so well maintained. The staff cannot do enough for you. They made us feel so at home and their friendliness and kindness was incredible.
Cons: The food could have had a little more flavour.
