Nothing I loved it all
The location is fantastic
Only one pillow on the bed, no hairdryer, tiny room
A cosy hotel with great staff (no request was too much trouble)Breakfast included very fresh fruit - a delight
I stayed in a single room, which was small but not too bad (I am claustrophobic and it was big enough for me!). My daughter & her husband and 2 children stayed in a double room, which was a reasonable size and the location was excellent. The hotel provided a baby cot and allowed them to use their own travelbed for the older child, so dont know whether they have spare beds or not. Breakfast was good.
It was annoying that there was a vacuum cleaner with leads being left out in our corridor for about a day, making it a bit more difficult to get to our room with our buggy.
The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the city
The excellent location, and the slightly old-fashioned "feel" to the spacious room with its high ceiling and chandelier style lights!
the size of the room
very difficult to find a parking space for the car
The hotel room was magnificent, as was its location in the old town area of Malmo. We decided to stay in Malmo to break the drive from Stockholm to Hamburg but it turned out to be a delightful town. Both the hotel and the town went in to our top 10%. We'd advise people holidaying in Scandinavia to spend at least one day in Malmo and, if possible, in the Hotel Baltzar. The breakfast was comprehensive and delightful also.
The staff could have been a little more cheerful and a little more client friendly. However, this is a minor criticism in light of the overwhelming positives.
The room was really unlike any I've stayed in before...the high ceilings, and lovely furniture, along with the spaciousness, made us feel like we were guests in a lovely, historical home.
