    About

The stunning Georgian architecture of The Foley Arms has been a feature of the Victorian spa town of Malvern for 200 years. The Georgian style old coaching inn was designed for John Downs by Samuel Dykes, originally named the Downs hotel, renamed The Foley Arms later in honour of Edward Foley, who was Lord of the Manor and responsible for building the Coburg Baths, the Pump Room and the Royal Library next to the hotel. All of these formed the hub of the fashionable health resort. /p Situated right in the heart of the town, the hotel has 23 individual bedrooms, many of which have wonderful views across the Severn Plain. All of our rooms are en-suite and include tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and flat screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. /p Guests can enjoy a meal in the on-site bar, with some hearty British favourites on the menu sure not to disappoint! /p The Foley Arms Hotel is set in a wonderful location from which to explore the stunning Malvern countryside, the Midlands and the Welsh Marches areas. The area has a wide range of stately homes, beautiful gardens, lively farm parks and award-winning museums for you to explore, along with a host of modern-day attractions for all the family. It is also perfect for those visiting Worcester and Hereford races. The hotel overlooks the famous Malvern Hills, and is only a short drive from the Three Counties Showground. If you are looking to enjoy some theatre during your stay here, the Malvern Theatre is only a five minute walk away from the hotel. /p There are two train stations which serve Malvern town Great Malvern and Malvern Link, with Great Malvern the nearest, approximately a 15 minute walk away. There is also a bus stop just outside the hotel, which come approximately every 20 minutes, and run to Worcester, Upton and Ledbury. Local taxis are also available, however it is always recommended to book in advance to guarantee one. Malvern is on the A449 from Worcester to Ross-on-Wye, and is located approximately 25 minutes from Junction 7 of the M5, and approximately half an hour from Junction 8 via the M50. /p There is no on-site parking but there is a long stay car park a short 10 minutes walk from the hotel, which costs £3 for 24 hours. /p
