9.3 Excellent
Pros: This modern hotel is situated in a calm setting with a lovely pool area. The restaurant of the hotel is very good.
Cons: During our stay there was unfortunately a loud pool party that prevented any sleep on that night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic little property in a really secluded and quiet location. The rooms are brand new and really simply and tasteful decorated. The bed was huge and so comfy. The pool is gorgeous and the view of the sunset from the pool every evening was stunning! As there are only about 9 rooms, it never feels busy. The highlight for me was the restaurant- the food is incredible! On our first night, we tried the meat tasting menu which was possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten! Luca, the manager, and his team are excellent and so accommodating. The breakfast is great too - continental options with the option of an omelette which is cooked to order. On our last night Luca made us a tray of breakfast items so we could eat in our room before we departed at 6am the next day. Daniela, Massimo and the reception team were fantastic too-always asking if they could do anything for us and genuinely caring for their guests. I would definitely return.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Entirely new resort, built to highest standards. Huge and hugely comfortable memory foam bed. Big flatscreen. Very good restaurant on-site. Wonderful pool area. Super friendly staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored compound with nicely appointed rooms and great pool area.
Cons: The restaurant needs to provide better breakfasts and options. The staff goes overboard to help but cannot surmount the lack of direction.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Food and receivale
Cons: Nothing

The hotel is located in a quiet area where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Etna. The Bed and Breakfast is brand new, very clean and comfortable. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast and great hospitality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: By far this was the BEST stay we have ever had in Sicily! L’ Arco Dei Sogni is a very small family run business located in Malvagna. The house is very well kept, modern, spacious and super clean! It has stunning views too. The food was divine! Words cannot describe how exceptional, tasty and delicious it was. Food is prepared upon request by Rosangela. Everything is home made with local genuine products. If you visit L’Arco dei Sogni you must definetly eat at least once there. We ended up dining every evening there to try as many different dishes as we could. We will surley miss your cooking and the cooking tips Rosangela xxx
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious and very clean; beautiful balcony overlooking Etna and the town. Hosts (Luigi and Rosangela) were very kind and welcoming; wonderful food and wine for dinner. There are many options of where to stay when exploring Etna- by staying here, we were able to take in a genuine experience of a Sicilian town.
Cons: Our GPS took us on a direct route to L'Arco Dei Sogni (straight up!). Follow the main road- though it is longer, it will take you right there.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff, definitely. Both Luigi and Rosangela were extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are fully renovated. I cannot think of a better place if you want to visit the Etna area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Where to start... the host and his sister were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The cooked dinner for us and provided an excellent breakfast. The food was homemade, fresh and abundant. The property itself has been fully renovated and the rooms are very spacious. Our room even had a massage chair in a separate room, quite relaxing. Everything is spotlessly cleaned and the owner provided lots of info about the region. We went for a lovely walk in the natural reserve that starts at the end of the village. The location is near to many things and offers a great view on the Etna.
Cons: The village itself is quite small and only has 1 bar on the main square and no other restaurants. Not a problem, but just something to keep in mind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is surely the best accomodation I have stayed in 30 years travel !! The building has been recently lovingly restored. Very spacious rooms and cleanliness throughout. A very good breakfast and they do evening meals as well if you ask them. Luigi, the owner, and his extended family are wonderful and their kindness made this trip extra special. They go out of their way to grant your every wish. They organised my husband's 50th birthday party down to the balloons and with the nephew playing the bagpipes and accordion... You need a car to be able to travel since Malvagna is a mountain village and a bit out of the way. Arrivederci !

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lucia and the team was very helpful in any respect.
Cons: If I have too look for something which I disliked, there will be very little. Maybe for somebody who is not good on foot, the walk to the center of the town might be too long and too steep on the return. But again, if you like walking, this will not be an issue at all.
8.8 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food and lacation.
Cons: Beautiful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Like mentioned by others this place has one Big drawback, which is the large events they organize (at least in the weekends - we stayed Saturday till Monday). The agriturismo has appr. 10 rooms. The pool area is the central court of the agriturismo, and 3 bedrooms and the restaurant face it. The first night a wedding w 150 participants, high music, DJ shouting and fireworks at 2 by night, totally spoilt our sleep. The day after there was a big Birthday party at the pool-Edge during the day. So we did not find the peace we had expected, and the poolarea was difficult to enjoy, filled up w party-guests. We had one Junior suite, which was beautiful and comfortable. And then we had 2 of the rooms facing the pool - they were nice, but a bit stuffy. The staff are great and extremely helpful. The agriturismo is situated beautifully w a wonderful view to Etna, and a kind of bridgewalk where you can look over the surroundings. So had it not been for the crazily big and loud events, we would have been much more satisfied w our stay
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The surroundings are amazing. Beautiful scenery. Concetta was very helpful throughout the stay.
Cons: No dining outside during our stay
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property is located in the country side with amazing view on the area. It has a great swimming pool, restaurant with amazing food (lots of local specialties). Room was clean and with a view on the swimming pool. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Even if it's said to be the closest village, it's quite a long drive to the mount Etna.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: it could be warmer water in the pool

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent - and just what I needed before 10 hours cycling!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent three nights in this lovely house. We were welcomed by a charming young lady who always had a smile on her face. Her English was quite good, but she patiently encouraged me to practice my limited Italian. Our bedroom and bathroom were very spacious with plenty of storage place, and the whole house was immaculately clean. A copious breakfast was served to us each morning in the breakfast room adjoining our bedroom. There was coffee or tea, juice, fresh fruit, yogurts, scrambled eggs, cold meat and cheese, fresh croissants and other pastries and cookies - far more than we could eat! The house was located in a quiet residential street, and we were always able to find a parking spot. It was within easy walking distance of the centre of Bronte, and we thoroughly enjoyed wandering up and down the narrow streets. Our hostess provided us with a list of suggested restaurants, and the three that we tried were all excellent. We would heartily recommend BluViro to anyone visiting Bronte. We would love to return!
Cons: Nothing!

The apartment was designed & built by him (he's an architect) & is stunning.

Pros: I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at studioarcodia. Alessandro treated us like family in every way. From the moment of our arrival to the very last minute. The studio had a fantastic atmosphere....ancient and modern at the same time (not to mention the incredible terazza!). When in San Marco d'Alunzio I would not consider staying anywhere else.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really great experience. Highly recommend a stop on the way from northern coast to Siracusa or Taormina/Etna. Very speciali place. Beautiful scenery. Great meals. Very friendly staff. For Americans who want an experience that the USA does not offer.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice area, beautiful old houses, nicely restored. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is very authentic, with the chef asking for your order and explaining about the food. The surroundings is quiet and nice, beautiful views of the mountains and the sea. Lovely with all the animals, and that everything is organic. A very nice place to stay with kids.
Cons: Only one staff spoke English, the rest only Italian. The need for swim caps when using the pool.

Pros: The food was absolutely delicious
Cons: The main office is not opened 24hours and so if you need something after hours, you might be stuck waiting till the next morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are lovely. They treated us like family and since that was my first time in Italy, they made a good impression on me. It’s just a home away from home. I fully recommend them if you want a get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Cons: The roads are narrow and Italian drivers have no chill.
Borgo San Nicolao - Randazzo - Building
10
8.9 Excellent (214 reviews)
Overview Reviews

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Franco, Denise and all their family were very helpful and did their best to make us feel at home, also giving us suggestions about where to visit. The room was spacious, clean and towels changed daily. The location is ideal for people who want to spend some quiet time. The farm animals contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast homely with genuine products...ham, cheese, eggs, bread, jams and fruit and croissants.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I love that this is a working farm, with vineyards, gardens, and farm animals. It would be a great place to take kids to see and experience a real farm. There's a restaurant on site, and a field for guests to use for games.
Cons: We had a hard time finding it through google maps, as it directed us to a road that does not actually connect to the farm because there's a locked gate. Make sure that before you turn off the main road you see the sign for the place; if not you're probably taking the wrong road. It's helpful if you know some Italian. The bathroom fixtures are rather cheap; in their current state they're functional, but are not made to last. This probably reflects that preparing the several small outbuildings to accommodate guests was probably a significant investment for the owners, so corners had to be cut somewhere. There's clutter around the property consistent with this being a working farm, not a resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Authentic agriturismo experience - great for our family holiday with young kids - though the grounds and setup would also be ideal for other types of vacations. Very scenic location. What impressed further and topped off our experience was the willingness to help of Franco and his hero brother who at 4am was assisting us with our car which got stuck in the snow. Grazie di tutto!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Its a farm. Lots of nature, animals, was great to see horses ! Staff were friendly!
Cons: Its really out of nowhere and we were really lost! GPS dosen't help as its not indicated in it. Finally had some help from some local police who led the way!!! Read about guests comments about the cuisine and how great it was...??? We had dinner but was really mediocre... Could understand that there were not much of a choice. Taste of the main, which was lamb cutlets, had not much of a taste and it tasted more burnt than bbq !!! B'fast , nothing fresh , bread , jam!!! In the end we just had coffee. Value for money ??? Nothing interesting in the vicinity. Not advised unless, you have to pass there for a night to go to the next town. Staff

7.0 Good
Pros: The entrance is scary with lights
Cons: Morning view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a must to visit, Location was amazing, and the owner is a true gentlemen. As well you will be greeted by Charlie an adorable dog very friendly with clients.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breathtaking views and very helpful owner. Good breakfast and lovely dinner. Close enough to Randazzo and Linguaglossa.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is located in the country with beautiful views of the Northern slope of Etna and the valley. You stay in the separate little cottage which was very warm despite pretty cold weather. It's a part of the agricultural cooperative, they have a restaurant on the site with the local produce of meat, cheese, wine, vegetables and fruit. If you are interested in good food and nature, it's a perfect place to stay. They also arrange different activities like horse ridding, climbing Etna and etc. We had a very pleasant stay.

Both the room and the bathroom are large, and the balcony is perfect for a glass of wine, late in the evening, and for breakfast. The personnel was helpful and acted professional.

Pros: We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and shown to our spacious and comfortable room. The view of Etna from our window was absolutely stunning. Our hosts were hugely apologetic about the fact the restaurant was closed because the chef had to passed away. Cons: Wifi didn’t work the best
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, helpful hosts, great views, great food and breakfast. Rooms are very close to being luxurious. It's worth staying 2-3 days with the family. Has activities which include horse excursions. Great place anyway.
Cons: Swimming pool is very busy with day visitors and music by the pool is quite loud.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant and Motorcycle parking near rooms
6.3 Good
Pros: We loved the breakfast and diner, the quality of the food and service are great. The staff is very nice.
Cons: The cleanliness of the bed cover was not great. The decoration of the room was a little sad (we were in the "old rooms" just above the restaurant, not the new ones). Communication between booking and the hotel must be improved because we booked a room for 2 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby and the hotel only prepared for 2 adults and 1 kid. This was quickly solved by adding the baby bed but it could have been an issue since they first suggested the baby sleep with us in the double bed...! The BIG problem we had was that the restaurant had a big party (wedding?) from 8pm to 1am with loud music and singing and our room was located just above the party. We could not sleep and our kids either! The owners should have offered a room in the new area across the pool were we would have been isolated from the noice!! Very bad experience altogether which is a pity because the staff and food was great otherwise....
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent room, very spacious. Good dinner.
Cons: Wifi problems inside the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked what I have already ansured for
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy place to get to. Nice quit area just off main route. Good place if travelling by motorbike. Safe place to park. Great food lovely pool area. Will go again.

Azienda Agricola Cuntarati - Bronte - Building
15
9.1 Excellent (31 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a brand new accommodation with all possible modern equipment: a few spacious rooms, 3 kilometers from the center of Bronte, between other individual houses and vine fields. We were the only guests and the owner (very friendly) doesn't live there: so we had the whole house for us. The neighborhood is very quiet, a well-maintained garden, private parking places and a nice view of Bronte and behind it of Etna.
Cons: The breakfast was not overwhelming of choice but the owner was willing to satisfy any of our desires. We had the impression that this was the very beginning of the renting of rooms (a swimming pool is planned to be built) and that a few things had still to be set in order to make this accommodation perfect.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and comfy bed. Really needed after an over 400km motorcycle ride. Heart warming food at the restaurant downstairs also. Good safe private parking on the premises.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel. Parking is very convenient and free of charge. We had dinner at the hotel. Very good portions and very good quality. Breakfast was good too.
Cons: Breakfast starts at 08.00am so if you want to have an early breakfast it will be just a coffee and a sweet pastry from the bar. otherwise after 08.00am it is a more decent breakfast.

6.8 Good
Pros: Good location near town. Very large bed!
Cons: The hotel appeared run down. The staff were happier talking to each other than to their visitors.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Parking was easy. Dinner was very good.
Cons: Room was cold (outside temperature was cold!) Got heater going after three hours. (switches in reception). Had to ask for heating the second night as well. It was warm enough once the heating was enabled. Croissants which were available at first breakfast were missing at second breakfast. Otherwise the food was good and reasonable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotlessly clean and quiet, with large and comfortable beds and a nice balcony. There is convenient and easy parking right outside the front door and the hotel is in a convenient location right on the edge of the old town. Very late check-in wasn't a problem. The staff were very friendly, and I expect that if we'd been able to speak better Italian, we might have been able to resolve some of the little problems. After the first day, the breakfasts were ok. We were there the week after Easter, and I think the tourist season hadn't really got going - Randazzo was very quiet and most of the restaurants were shut. I think this hotel is probably nicer in high summer! Hint: if you want your room cleaned, make sure you hand your key in at reception.
Cons: There were a few little things broken in the room - there was a loose electrical socket that fell out when I tried to pull a plug out and the toilet flush didn't work properly (had to lift the cistern lid every time). There was no sign of any wi-fi and the roof-top terrace was closed. Breakfast on the first day was frankly appalling: dry pre-packaged toast, no butter, and smelly bullet-boiled eggs, served in a really dreary room. Things were better for next two days when they moved us into the bar area and gave us fresh bread, cheese and ham.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I like the staff, very friendly and helpful! Popular restaurants, wine shop are within walking distance. Plenty of parking space in front of the hotel.
4.5 Okay
Pros: We were the only guests of this hotel and even if it was Sunday evening, we had a nice dinner at their place. There are a few private reserved parking places in front of the hotel, behind the petrol station.
Cons: How can one rate an accommodation where one is welcome by an owner who blames us that we booked our room via Booking.com and that we didn't phone them up directly (none of the staff speaks a word of English) ? How would you rate the friendliness of the staff who explains that the air-conditioning system will not be turned on because we are the only guests and that the night will be fresh anyway (we had 28ºC in our room) ? Opening the window was the only option, even if the hotel was near the noisy center of the town. The breakfast was the most appalling one we had during our 30-day journey in Sicily (bread under cellophane). We still wonder how this hotel has a review score of 8,2.
