Cons: nobody at the reception or restaurant was fluend or even acceptebel speacking English
Pros: Beautiful location, beautiful building. Good food at restaurant. Excellent breakfast. The surrounding area (this is a remote location) had two villages that were absolutely amazing...perfectly Spanish! Overall, this was a quiet retreat, very comfortable.
Cons: The reception was less than inviting. The gentleman lacked personality, but did his job and got us the room we reserved. Nothing to write home about this guy. We had traveled a while and were looking forward to the dinner on site (great restaurant, by the way)...wouldn't you know it, when we came down the stairs to head for the restaurant, the same guy who checked us in, headed for the restaurant and became our waiter! (This is September, off-season, things were quiet!) Still without much personality, like he HAD to serve us. That was our only gripe. This gentleman didn't quite match the beautiful hotel he works in.
Pros: Peaceful location off the beaten track
Cons: Silly wash hand basin in bedroom-bathroom
Pros: Great rooms and location. Evening meal 20 euros was very good.
Cons: Outside areas a bit sterile. Obviously set up for weddings. Needs a pool/ area with comfortable seating.
Pros: Great location,amazing food,good customer care,comfy beds
Pros: Absolutely fabulous hotel! Words cannot even start to describe it. Beautiful setting, first class accommodation and fantastic food. We will definitely be returning.
Cons: The only slight criticism is that the waiter served coffee in the morning and when we wanted another cup he was nowhere to be found! Coffee machine in the breakfast area may be a good idea.
Pros: We liked a lot about this property, the design, the location, the easy going attitude. The room was particularly lovely. The breakfast was really nice.
Cons: Nothing really. The staff wanted to help us and that showed. There aloofness didn't bother us at all.

Pros: We love the location and staff were very helpful and accommodating. As we have been before, we were pleasantly surprised at the extension. It has been built and furnished to a very high standard! As we were tired from travelling and too soon for the restaurant, the staff made us hot pork and cheese sandwhiches, lovely!
Cons: It was a shame that no English was spoken, with our limited Spanish. But we had a good communication all round!
Pros: A very friendly family owned rural hotel in a nice village. Simple rooms, but clean with everything you need. Nice atmosphere, good food.
Pros: Every thing a great hotel looking forward to stay their again.
Cons: Nothing it was a good out of the way hotel.

Pros: Nice room with morning sun. Location close to cycle the Green Way. Beautifull Javalambre mountain to climb with bike. Also the city Albarracin is very nearby.
Cons: Unfortunately October time of year is not the best time the eat truffles. This made the diner a bit less as expected.
Pros: Awesome location. Absolute beautiful, nice service, very good kitchen. We were warm welcomed
Pros: Host excellent. Really helpful and informative about the area and the fascinating history of the house. Location just fab. We cycled there from the via Verde. So.. If you're on this it's a good place to stay.
Cons: Nothing really. Maybe could have had a more substantial breakfast. Eggs would have been nice. But no big deal. Go with the flow on these occasions. Don't expect it to be like home. Otherwise what's the point of traveling.
Pros: Fantastic food, really nice staff
Cons: No pool
Pros: Gorgeous setting, friendly hosts and fabulous food
Pros: I was welcomed with open arms by the starman and he opened the kitchen and fed me vegetarian soups and wine. I was starving after a stressful day . Such a fabulous warmth and the stars were spectacular. Also the breakfast was wonderful. I wish to return when i have more time and do some walks with my dog.
Cons: My car broke down and i arrived near midnight
Pros: Quiet setting, friendly and helpful hosts.
Cons: Everything was good. I thought the price was on the upper end of the "fair" range but it was a holiday so perhaps that affected the price.
Pros: Very friendly hosts. I arrived on my motorcycle and they immediately offered the garage. The room had central heating which was a godsend given the unseasonal rain and cold in early April. Food in the restaurant was very good.
Cons: The last couple of hundred meters is via a loose surface, not ideal for motorcycles but was manageable.

Pros: Food, warm room.
Cons: No lift
Pros: Massage jet shower after 4hr walk. No need for the car, bus three times a week. We got made sandwiches, as we left early for walk. Very friendly hosts, great food, including fish & chips, spanish style. Loved everything, great waterfalls, mountains and forest.
Pros: Good bathroom, very warm, lovely family
Cons: No communal room available except at mealtimes

Via Verde Bicycle Route passes right next to the hotel and the property offers free bike parking. Javalambre Ski Resort is 27 km away.
Pros: Lovely location and staff! We had a really lovely meal and evening at the hotel and found everyone to be extremely friendly.
Cons: The two double rooms we booked were both actually twin beds even though we'd selected double beds. The rooms were clean but smelled strongly of bleach. Very small towels too.
Pros: Clean and comfortable room although a little small. The walls were quie thin so we could hear conversations in the next room.
Cons: Parking was on the street which was narrow
Pros: Very friendly staff, bicycles can be stored in a garage, and the daily menu is very good.
Cons: Not a lot of choice for breakfast, only ham sandwich available.
Pros: It was late January and I think we were the only people staying at the hotel, certainly the only people eating dinner. We had the 13 euro menu. There were a lot of choices for each course and the helpings were huge. For your 13 euros there was also a litre of red wine. The bedroom was hot - and therein lies our problem.
Cons: The bedroom was small but that is of no consequence. We really just wanted dinner and a night's sleep before continuing on our way. The problem was the underfloor heating. This was wonderful when going to the bathroom but it worked overtime. The bedroom was stifling. The thermostat didn't work. The on/off switch didn't work. The floor kept sending out waves of heat. The only solution was to open the window. It was cold outside with a light snow falling. Even so the temperature of the bedroom didn't drop below 22C all night.
Pros: We had an extremely bad experience which I hope that Booking.com are dealing with.
Cons: Serious problems encountered which required medical attention.
Pros: Friendly staff. Room clean..
Cons: Could have used a couple of glasses in the room
With a stay at Hotel de Montaña Rubielos in Rubielos de Mora, you'll be 16.7 mi (26.9 km) from Montanejos Hot Springs and 25.1 mi (40.4 km) from Valdelinares Ski Resort. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, an elevator, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The air conditioning was not working so we sat in a hot bedroom for a few hours before complaining to the front desk. Immediately they said it would be working in 30 minutes, which tells me that they switch the system off, even though there are controls in the room. That was bad. When the system did come on the temperature did not get as low as we would have liked. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, which unfortunately can happen in Spain, but this place left nothing for our comfort, not even a small bottle of water. Given the heat, this made it very uncomfortable. Again however, when I complained, we were given a bottle of water, but I don’t want to have to complain! At breakfast every table is numbered to a specific room, so you have to sit where they tell you, rather than where you want to. That system is old hat, and again does not fit in with modern expectations of a good customer experience. This hotel is not very expensive, but neither is it cheap. They are in a price range where the above issues should not be a problem.
Pros: A place to stop on a long journey. Better than expexcted. Catered to my gluten free needs
Pros: Attractive hotel with lovely grounds close to the village
Cons: Breakfast range was limited compared to other hotels we have stayed in on this trip
Pros: Why this hotel only has 2 stars I’ll never know. I’ve stayed in worse 4 star hotels. It was great.
Pros: We loved the pool - really warm. The room and shower were very clean and quiet. We did not want a full breakfast but snack bar was open and served a continental breakfast very quickly. Beautiful gardens. Plenty of easy parking.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a handrail down from the pool to the corridor. The hotel would have been easy to find had we known it was actually where the restaurant was. Sorry cant remember the name of the restaurant. Large sign with Hotel Montana on a much smaller one along side.
Pros: Huge bedroom, beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, large walk in shower, excellent wifi coverage, good breakfast, lovely dining room, attentive and friendly staff, quiet
Cons: Dinner was very Spanish, in that there were no vegetables served with the main meal. There was no choice of a green salad for a starter, either.

Pros: Idyllic setting in quiet surroundings by the river. Lovely people running the property, really helpful and friendly even though we don’t speak much Spanish. Excellent food and home made beer. We’d love to return here with friends and family.
Pros: Great breakfast, very nice hosts. Very good renovated house, in nature. Tough location to reach though. Tasty homemade beer (have to pay extra). Extra payment for sheets.
Cons: Extra payment for sheets.
Pros: breakfast was nice, accomodations were great kind good people, adorable little town
Cons: had to pay for sheets but only 3 euros

Pros: Lovely modern hotel in the middle of a small village
Cons: The location on trip advisor was wrong. We stayed here to be close to ski slopes which it says was 10km this was actually 1.30min drive however we enjoyed our stay
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent, there's a river park just by its backyard where you can enjoy a nice stroll. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of space.
Cons: The room was a bit dark, and the breakfast was basic but ok.

Pros: The food at dinner was amazing - a great selection! Plus, the rooms were beautiful, a great shower and a very comfortable bed.
Cons: the room is very small!! in the pictures they show the pool but actually you need to pay 26 euro for 1.5 hours in it!!! the breakfast is very poor and the hotel staff is not so friendly!
Pros: This an excellent hotel but rather empty this Sunday night in December.
Cons: What? No toilet paper! Otherwise nothing to dislike.
Pros: This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are clean, modern and very spacious for such a reasonable price. Restaurant food was great. Staff very attentive and helpful. Our rooms were ready for an early check in and the location of the hotel is very central. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Fantastic spot , exceptionally friendly and helpful staff . Food was of exceptional quality , home made , good range of beers . Really good value for money . Would definitely return
Cons: Nothing about this property was bad
Cons: No wifi, small rooms
Pros: We had a great time. Delicious food, everyone was really nice. Really good.
Pros: Very good food!
Pros: Breakfast was very good, for a decent price. We did not have lunch or diner, but I can imagine it being very nice as well. The small shop they have downstairs is convenient. The young lady handling our checkout was very warm and friendly.
Cons: We feel like there could be more attention to detail. One of the towels was heavily stained. Found a used tissue behind the nightstand. Extremely noisy rooms. No fan in the room although this room type was listed as having one. Sleeping with the windows open wasn't a great alternative, as the church bells kept on ringing at night. On saturday night some loud karaoke party was hosted in the restaurant till late after midnight. For a remote small village like this, we didn't exactly get the good night's sleep we had hoped for.

When you a stay at Hotel Jaime I in Mora de Rubielos, you'll be in the historical district, just steps from Collegiate Church of Santa Maria and Mora de Rubielos Castle. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: The staff were nice and accommodating.
Cons: The hotel was in serious need of a refurb as the ceiling in the bathroom was half coming off,the phone didn't work there were cracks in the floor tiles paint peeling from the walls generally it seemed quite run down. The decor wasn't great either we had some lampshades that seemed a bit shabby. The bathroom was so small that literally if you used the toilet your leg would be touching the sink so very claustrophobic . The bed was decent enough but pillows very uncomfortable.Breakfast was average. To be honest I'm surprised it's a 3 star hotel as the facilities are run down and they did not provide a lot of services as a normal 3 star would. I would not recommend this hotel I'm afraid.
Pros: The Jaime 1 blends in perfectly to the old worldly air of Mora, in architecture, ambiance and furnishings. It is right in the center of town and the staff (like the townspeople) are friendly and very helpful. My room had a surprise: a long, low balcony with wicker chairs looking out on the castle above and town square below.
Cons: The proximity to the town square, and the terrace tables of the hotel itself, meant it was quite noisy into the early hours. If you can't beat them, join them! Parking space was a little removed from the hotel but ample.
Pros: The staff & the service was excellent, always smiling & helpful. Great location. Good breakfast.
Pros: The balcony room above the arch
Pros: Breakfast lovely, meal in evening was incredible

Pros: Good for overnight stop on way to Alicante region. Very friendly staff and food was very good.
Cons: Rooms a bit small, parking difficult.
Pros: Extremely nice hotel, the area was beautiful. Not for people looking for plenty of activities. Walking and driving. That's it.
Pros: The village is very small and this is the only hotel. However, the staff was friendly and the food was really good. We had a lovely time meeting the local town people in the hotel bar!
Cons: There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby / bar / restaurant.
Pros: Very friendly and well situated in beautiful surroundings.
Cons: There could have been more choice at breakfast.
With a stay at Hotel Mora in Mora de Rubielos, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Collegiate Church of Santa Maria and Mora de Rubielos Castle. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very big spacious room Great balcony
Pros: Its a good family style hotel. Great bed, good nights sleep.
Cons: I booked this hotel because it had a restaurant,( travelling through to the south of spain) and claimed that english was spoken. On arrival a young woman greeted us and spoke english, however she then disappeared straight away, and no one else spoke english.. She told us the restaurant was closed that evening and there was one down the road that served meals in the evening. They did but only at weekends, this was tuesday. So we searched the town and another hotel very helpfully told us of a small bar restaurant , who did provide us with a very nice meal. Not what we expected though , and the hotel Mora did not help at all!!!!. The hotel itself is very run down and shabby, needs a complete upgrade, and not very clean. Shame on the Hotel group that own it. We avoided the breakfast because of previous reviews. We would never recommend staying there.
Pros: Stayed at the hotel before ..great location ..town historic ..close to great scenery..and skiing resorts..
Cons: We were unlucky..stayed this time when national holiday so restaurant was not open in evening which was disappointing as the food in hotel very good ..but I understand ...when it is an important holiday.
Pros: The room was large, clean and comfortable. The Menu of the Day was excellent value. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: Cosy, Comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly.
Pros: Good position nice views
Cons: This hotel caters for school parties hence very noisy Food badly cooked of poor quality.Room very small clean but very tired
