very near Trapani airport after night arrival. staff nice, meal in hotel served late. good parking.
Convenient Very badly organised. Especially the restaurant
We chose it for it's very close location to Trapani airport. We would not have wanted to stay there for any other reason but we did have a very good meal in their restaurant, which seemed to be the only place in town. We just stayed the one night as we had a very early start. I would only recommend the hotel for the above reason.
The food in the restaurant is excellent! Located very close to the airport. -
We wanted to check out early, but there was no staff present up to 7.30 in the morning.
The location of Villa Speranza was very convenient. The fact that it had a restaurant where we both could have an evening meal was good and the food and surroundings were excellent. The service was excellent. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant could not have been more friendly towards us. the design and decor of both the hotel and restaurant were good. The bedrooms were spacious. There was a little noise in the evening from young children playing in the courtyard, but once the windows were closed and the air conditioning turned on there was little noise. As our stay was on a Saturday night and the restaurant was a family restaurant and was obviously very popular with the locals in this little town then some noise could be expected. There was no traffic noise. The air conditioning was thankfully silent. I would not expect this problem on a weekday evening. Asolution to this problem would be to install double glazing to the windows.
Dinner in the restaurant.
staff were very helpful and hotel was just down the road from airport so easy to get to very early flight meal in eve wasn't terribly good but glad it was available and waitress was very friendly and pleasant easy to use as an easy access to airport 3.5 km for early flight not much available in area nice garden and in ground floor villa complex so easy exit with bag early in morning
Good location, very friendly staff, open for check inn all 24 hours, resonable price Breakfast could be better
The comfortable and big room and the excellent diner
Check-in Staff at the front desk was very helpful in providing information in English and French on the area. Excellent service from the front desk, the cleaning staff, and the night staff when we asked for a late meal. The restaurant and the breakfast are not up to the standards of the hotel. The hotel deserves a better restaurant and the breakfast was poor, even lower than in standard hotels.
The Relais has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. It is very comfortable without being ostentacious. Great for a stress free break.
I stayed in five hotels during my recent trip to Sicily and Relais Antiche Saline had the friendliest staff and the best breakfast. The hotel is beautiful in a serene setting. I wish they served lunch and dinner but the restaurant just down the road at the Salt Museum was a nice option.
Very peaceful and very kind staff. Excellent breakfast Hotel restaurant not functioning whilst there
It was very close to the places of interest and had beautiful gardens. Service in the resturant was very slow - as a matter of fact, we left and had room service. The food was good.
The Staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms fresh and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the ambience of the hotel's quiet location amongst the saltpans and windmills, with no passing traffic; it being alongside one of Sicily's nature reserves and next door to the very well run museum of salt. Plenty of free private parking. We will be back..... often! The bumpy road with potholes for the last few hundred metres! We visited in low season (an advantage for price & winter sunshine). However we had to go out every evening for meals as during the low season, the hotel restaurant only serves buffet breakfast. Quite understandable but a pain!
Unique location in the salt ponds. Well done restoration The restaurant was closed for a wedding reception
This was my second stay at this hotel and I love the unique location adjacent to the salt marsh and nature preserve near Trapani. The hotel is modern with a beautiful swimming pool and nicely appointed rooms and a friendly and helpful staff. Near the hotel is a terrific restaurant specializing in local cuisine located adjacent to the salt museum. I enjoyed my stay and hope to return again. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant and I thought the prices were high and food not particularly good.
Naturskøn beliggenhed og kan bruges som overnatningsmulighed nær Trapini Lufthavn
The location of the hotel is unique. It is right in the middle of the salt flats and given the right room, (which we were given one on the first floor) provided stunning view of the salf flats both during the morning and at sun set. A great place for photographers. High cost of the dinners at the hotel restaurant
Room is very clean and comfy. Staff are very helpful and warm. Very close to Trapani airport.
location, customer care. everything was good, just maybe breakfast could be better.
convenient location close to Trapani airport as we arrived on late flight, although difficult to find in the dark, Owner drove out to meet us in the end. It was a basic budget room , felt like being in a mobile home. Perfectly clean , and friendly staff
The place is nice, convenient location close to the airport and actually a really good base for exploring Sicily, if you have a car. The place is especially really convenient and nice if you have early or late arrivals. They have a tennis court and some other facilities on ground that looked nice, but during our short stay we did not have much chance to explore the place. Staff is very friendly and helpful, knows a lot about the environs and assists with that little extra that makes it a nice stay. Air conditioning is very effective, as it turns out. This is probably very good if you travel to Sicily during the heat of the summer. Nice tables on every cabin porch to sit and relax etc The place is fair enough, walls are very thin, but small "cabins" with pairs of two "rooms" in each, so if you are a family of four or travelling together in a group, this is perhaps not so much of a problem. There is some distance between the cabins so it was not noisy, but from the one next door room, don't expect to keep any secrets :) Don't expect a luxurious stay, but clean and basic rooms which I'd say gives good value for money. Not convenient if you do not have a car, is my guess. Perhaps however could be a good stop if you have a bike - not sure whether they had bikes on premises, but in that case, much of the nearby area could be explored even without a car.
The owner was very helpful and the actual B and B was in beautifull surroundings but you would need a car if you were planning on staying ther e more than one night. The kitchen where we ate was really authentic farmhouse style and the owner kindly went for food for us that evening. The bedrooms were spacious and atmospheric. It was very far from anywhere and we had no car
