Staff were very friendly throughout. Location is excellent, pretty much on the beach and close to everything (even though you do have to walk up the steep hill to get to the square). Rooms / bathrooms were great and very comfortable and the poolside / bar area were brilliant for chilling out. Not really a 4-star hotel. More of a 3-star. But having said that, the location was great so it makes up for it.
The position, near the beach and not too far from the town. Average room was supposed to be the best in the hotel. No beach towels.Poor food and regimental seating plan.Uninformed staff gave us wrong ferry details.
The room had a good view and was clean. The bar area was relaxing (though see comments below). The location is good - close to a good beach and the town of Santa Maria. The dining room in the evening resembled a canteen. It was brightly lit and the waiters brought food and removed plates without paying attention to the thought that a group at a table wanted to have a meal together. The aim seemed to be to push the diners through ASAP. This was in contrast to the bar area which encouraged the thought that the dining room would be like a restaurant. It is not. The menu was also limited, and one of the three main courses was off on the only night we ate there. The reception staff were friendly, though lacked local knowledge. As an e.g. I asked for the location of a tourist activity and was sent to the wrong part of the island.
The staff is very helpful and always smiling. The hotel is located very close to the beach and at walking distance from the town centre. Big, free parking available to hotel guests. Poor breakfast and rooms a bit noisy. Quite expensive for the standard offered but I'd recommend to pay the supplement for balcony and seaview, as the other rooms are not very big and overlook the back. This is an old fashioned Italian beach resort. Good if you look for a beach holiday in full board - although the food was not impressive. Guests in bed and breakfast are treated 'differently'.
Ideally situated close to beach and town with bonus of a car park The room was clean and spacious . The dinning room was well appointed and staff attentive. However the food was processed and diner reminicent of packaged holiday food from the 1970's
located 300 m away from port and the beach, welcoming personnel, the owner speaks good english and helped me with some things, nice breakfast with delicious cakes, free wifi in lobby, free LAN internet in the room (cable is provided), big bathroom, a/c works fine, fridge in the room, balcony with cord and clothespins... just nice friendly hotel!!!
Simple, clean, and ideally located near the port for our ferry departure to Corsica. The owner and family very accommodting and personable.
The location is good - only a 10 minute stroll to the town centre or the beach. Parking is easy and close by. English was spoken by a couple of staff, who weren't overly friendly but did help when asked. Basic (but adequate) room - no sockets for recharging mobile etc but aircon very efficient and having a full size fridge a bonus. The room was clean - apart from a large number of long black hairs on the floors, particularly in the bathroom - where they were also on the shower walls/curtain/base, floor mat, etc.
The rooms seemed to have been renovated recently; they are quite clean. A refrigerator is very useful. The room size is decent for the price we paid. The location is not too bad; the beach is not far, and the town squre is even closer.
Very friendly, attentive staff. Easy access to restaurants and beach area. Good selection of food at breakfast, especially for off-season. Central heat was not on, so heating was with the single AC/heat unit in the room, which made for a cold bathroom. I'm not a big fan of showers that are unenclosed at the base.
Nice welcome and good location from the city centre. Very good price for value.
Easy parking on street, only short walk to ferry point to Bonifacio Lack of staff available in evening
We had a very comfortable room, but I think its possible to get not such comfortable rooms, too! for tv freaks, they have nearly 1000 tv channels, and the situating of the hotel is very good. santa teresa is a nice place to stay, beach, centre and harbour only a short walk away
From the reception to the breakfast the next day all around excellent customer service.
The comfort of the room - we received a big room with 4 beds for the price of a double room; the modern facilities, arranged on an intelligent way, in the bathroom. The helpfulness of the staff - kind, giving very useful information without prior demand (maps, timetables), speaking English.
Location of the hotel, and service & preparation at the beach.
seaside location uncomfortable beds, mildewy smells
The service is a joke. Not a 5 Star hotel The rooms are very noisy. The food is not up to the standart. Very windy place too.
proximity of the beach several things: smoking area near the Bedroom, we can not open windows - Toilets are was not clean (yellow colors) :-( - Shower and Bathroom is not modern and does not correspond to a 5 stars hotel - there are not enough place in the car park
The position of your Hotel is fantastic, right on the beach, however you need a car. The rooms have a beautiful balcony to enjoy the view and the swimming pools are stunning but shallow. The standard of our room was not 5 star. There was a very strong and distinct smell of cigarette smoke in our room. Overall we thought it was too expensive for the standard of our room.
Nice location right at the beach, and free hotel transport to Santa theresa di Gallura. We found the majority of the staff kind of unfriendly.. It's a 5 star hotel, so they are very "correct" in a way, but they come out as hostile and unfriendly. Not good.
Perfect resort hotel for families with children. The outside pools are especially for children suitable whereas adults can enjoy the hotel own beach access which merges directly with the public sand beach of Capo Testa. The hotel own facilities and the rooms themselves are a bit old, but still everything worked. Dinner was overpriced for the quality with EUR 60.00 per person. Limited parking lots in peak times.
we were only there for 6 hours due to flight delay. that didn't keep them from charging us an extra E40 to share a bed with my 8 year old. other than that, they were very personable and helpful. see above
staff very helpful; a good pool and comfortable rooms. Breafast was fine and served outside on the terrace. Sadly there is a large building being constructed next door. It was not unduly noisy when we were there but does spoil the view over the pool from some of the rooms.
Please write at least 15 words Hotel is good but definitely not luxurious. Also there is NO private beach and the hotel stays at least 1 mile uphill downtown.
Nice pool, modern and clean interior, close to beautiful town centre, short walk to town beach and short drive to several beaches outside town Pillows very big and high, wifi only in reception area, only breakfast available, building site next to hotel however not too loud
The hotel was lovely and clean and looking far superior than the others we saw in town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern and close to the town centre which is a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast was usual continental and evening meal was available but we ate out every evening. I would definatley recommend this hotel and would not hesitate returning.
Decor, friendly staff and made to feel confortable. The location of Hotel was at the top of a slightly steep hill. Wonderful views made up for that, though.
Very clean and nice room, nice and not crowded pool, for Italy good breakfast, 5 min. driving to the beaches, free parking a little bit expencive but this is a general sardinian problem, so in compare it´s ok
Very nice hotel close to the city center and the beach.Typical italian breakfast with croissant and cappuchino.Nice pool area and good parking facilities.
hotel was spotlessly clean, very nice decor, friendly staff The breakfast was certainly not 4* quality - extremely limited choice: 1 type of cheese, tinned fruit - the 'fresh' fruit did not look particularly fresh, white rolls or croissant - very disappointing. I didn't see the restaurant open at all in the evening. Although the rooms were clean the shower was the smallest imaginable - not enough room to turn round in.
Very friendly stuff and good location Hotel.
Staff were very helpful and friendly
Nice and clean little hotel close to the ferry to Corsica if you know the way. Big supermarked just 150 meters away. A bit of a long walk to the center of the town. In spite of my booking "double-room for single-use" I got a single-room for the fuld amount, 65€ without breakfast, which is to much for this place. But ok, I stayed only one night because of I´d to reach the ferry next morning.
Good location to visit Bonifacio (Corsica), Ferry even within walking distance. Very friendly owner. Poor breakfast buffet, Breakfast room has a very simple look. No place to get together after returning back to hotel from dinner. Had to sit on the stormy corridor in front of the rooms with our friends to enjoy some red-wine ...
The friendly, helpful staff A bit out of town - pavements were not good for walking in.
Excellent location for ferry access to Corsica. One international news channel available.
thw whole nice and safe feeling we had, it has a supermarket just in front of the hotel and the walk to the centre is quick and nice! everything was ok :) no breakfast though...
It should be noted that this is a motel not a hotel which should be reflected in the description
Nice spacious comfy room. Lack of sound proof.
Staff were very friendly. A great location catching the ferry to Corsica! N/A
We had an exellent and very comfortable room in this hotel. It also had a balcony with a view across the town. The owner of the hotel was most helpful. Altogether it was exceptionally good value for money.
The hotel is located close to the city center. Rooms are clean; however, lighting is less then romantic; the furnishings look a bit worn. Still ok, for a couple of days
very nice, cosy hotel, friendly atmosphere (Saridinian hospitality), great location (close to the beach and the city centre), tasty cappucino, possibility to park a car in near-by streets
Clean room, great bathroom. Very welcoming personnel make you feel home. Free hot drinks are available in the evening. And nice breakfast. Definitely great hotel no internet access
Nice and quiet hotel within short walking distance from lovely Rena Bianca beach. Great personnel. Very friendly atmosphere.
Easy to find and to park outside. Easy walk into town, the port or the beach. Clean comfortable room.
very friendly staff, good location with an excellent breakfast
Peaceful, Closeness to habour No safe in room
Friendly service. Beautiful building in quiet and interesting streets. Good location for access to port, ferry to Corsica. Santa Teresa itself was a pleasant stop.
The location, nice friendly staff, very clean not much of a breakfast, hotel controled air con which worked well but only on at limited times of the day.
nice big bed. no fresh coffee at breakfast - Italian breakfasts are based around the coffee so machine coffee was disappointing.
Friendly staff, conveniently situated close to center and beaches, all new, good value for money
Staff is very good. The hotel is clean. Breakfast is ok. Location is good. Price is ok. I liked staying there. Tv is very little, no russian channels on it :(. When I booked the hotel there was the information about wi-fi in the hotel, but during my stay in the hotel there was no wi-fi, it didn't function. Maybe they do not have it at all???
Small family run hotel. Staff were very helpful with many suggestions and advice for things to do in the area.
We felt very at ease at this hotel - we stayed for one night at the start of our holiday and it was a good experience which we feel is crucial for the start of a holiday. Good generous breakfast too. We did not like the co;our of the paint in the bedrooms - we would have prefered something less bright!
Good location, close to old town. Overpriced
that it was easy to get into the town and the local beach staff not overly friendly, breakfast very poor compared to other hotels, booked via booking .com, poor restaurant staff, charge to have mini bar in room, dormant building site on ther side of pool.
As it was originally a monastery it was an extremely unusual building. We were facinated by the layout and enjoyed exploring it. It was much further from Cagliari airport than I had realised.
The room was nice and clean. They have a computer with internet access for guests to use. All in al, the hotel has a nice atmosphere to it. Breakfest is not very consistent. It is not on the beach.
God location and god price: The breakfast is very limited. Should be greatly improved.
The abiance and the staff who were delightful It is well away from beaches, but we did know that.
The reception staff was very helpful. Even German and English TV in the room, was nice on the day that it rained. Near the hotel was a very nice local restauant with great food. The hotel is situated in a mountain village and not near the coast as it is situated on google earth. You need a car to get to the hotel and the beach. As we stayed in the last week of the season in the hotel, breakfast was limited. Even bread was not always available.
We discovered Borgo Saraceno last year, and we decided to come back this year. It is the perfect place for a great and relaxing holiday. Excellent staff, great location, we love it!
The room was always impecably clean. The location is very convenient to visit different places in Sardegna. However, having a car is mandatory if you want to sleep in this hotel. The front-desk staff is very nice and helpful. When you get to San Pasquale, it's not very easy to find the hotel (just turn left after the main square), but a sign would help. The breakfast was good, but not very varied. The internet (which is not free, though not very expensive) was not always working well.
Comfortable bed, great view of the pool and surrounds, quiet, shuttle service to beach, food in restaurant ok. Possibly could be over run with kids because of apartment accommodation but the 'entertainment coordinators' did their best to keep them occupied with activities. Remote with no other restaurants in the actual hillside town you need to drive to other villages.
Staff very nice. Very calm location. Clean and overall a very pleasant place.
The triple bed room was of acceptable size, the outdoor pool was nice and clean. The receptionist was outstanding friendly. The bathroom was very small, the beds extremely hard, the staff - with exeption of the receptionist - invisible. The parking opportunity was doubtful, the hotel in that area only looked half-finished. I have no idea who got the idea to plant this **** hotel in the middle of nowhere, 10 miles from the nearest town.
Quality of room; availability of sports equipment - table tennis, tennis.
The indoor pool was off limits for children under 14. My children were told that the hotel sports ground did not belong to the hotel and could not be used. It was, however used by hotel staff daily.
