Located in Neauphle-le-Chateau, Le Clos Saint Nicolas is within a 15-minute drive of France Miniature and Park and Castle of Thoiry. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was just perfect and magical. A delicious petit dejunee was always fresh, tea and coffee piping hot. Fresh fruit to start. The whole experience for my wife and I was just memorable. WAking to the sound of parrots and exocitic birds in the garden was enchanting.
Pros: We liked the spacious bedroom and excellent bed. The breakfast was extremely well done: fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, homemade jam etc. Free parking on the property. The location was quiet but within walking distance of the local village square.
Cons: The village, was extremely disappointing, restaurants limited when open especially on Mondays, there are 2 cafes locally and both closed around 20.00, one of them was closed the whole weekend from 20.00 Friday. The accommodation is long and narrow, but very comfortable. I am not sure that hotel is a proper description, more like Bed & Breakfast. It has parking facilities and very secure.
Pros: Lovely house, nice welcome, goid location
Cons: Bit hard to find
Pros: Alles was perfect
Pros: Nice room and spacious. The breakfast was delightful and the staff charming.
Pros: We had booked visits to Versailles and Giverny so wanted a location convenient to both. The Clos St Nicolas was perfect, a warm welcome from Madam, excellent room, lovely gardens and interesting parrots and parakeets. Breakfast excellent. Highly recommended. John and Helen
Pros: Charming hostess, lovely welcome and comfortable character property- perfect overnight stop over nearby Versailles Breakfast was fabulous..especially the melon and hand picked raspberries- freshly picked that morning !
Cons: Not much The culinary options in the town itself were very limited- fortunately I booked some months previously the one restaurant that was open for business- which was acceptable
Located in Orgeval, 48 km from Roissy-en-France, La Thuilerie - Maison d'hôtes provides a garden and free WiFi. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. Paris is 30 km from La Thuilerie - Maison d'hôtes, while Versailles is 20 km away. The nearest airport is Paris - Orly Airport, 45 km from the accommodation.
Pros: - The house is very nice and the host was very friendly. There is a swimming pool. - The property is located in a small nice town. - Breakfast
Cons: - It is far away from Paris and there is heavy traffic to Paris in the morning. - It is noisy in the morning because the property is located near the road.
Pros: Everything, including the incredibly yummy breakfast !
Pros: I was a little bit dubious about this place as there were no other reviews from fellow Brits and the property looks rather foreboding from the pics . In fact the property is very stylish with a swimming pool in the garden . It is very traditional French style with lots of antiques . The owner very kindly reserved us a table at a restaurant .
Cons: It did seem rather expensive - more than the price quoted in the property itself but maybe this was because it was just before the Ryder cup and we really struggled to find somewhere to stay in the area.
Pros: Everything with this location is a 10+.I fully recommend .
Pros: The rooms are very clean and very charming. Each room is individual. The owner are very helpful and interested to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is just outstanding. Best baguette, croissant and fresh orange juice etc.
Pros: Breakfast was good, room was clean.
Cons: There is a WC right besides the bed, the host was rude, the house is really cold. She did not give us the WI-FI password as she was mad at us for arriving "late" (22:00).
When you stay at Au Chat Perché in Mareil-sur-Mauldre, you'll be 10 minutes by car from Park and Castle of Thoiry.
Pros: Valerie and Philippe are lovely. They really went the extra mile to help us as we were guests at a wedding at a nearby château and had to go back and forth. They were so kind in driving us twice when they didn't have to! Thank you!!
Pros: Great place with friendly host in a small town not far from Paris, it was quiet and we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Nothing the B&B could do about but we arrived on Sunday and there is no place to eat proper Sunday. We would have liked a little more at breakfast, meat and or cheese and and egg would have been nice.
8.7 Excellent (397 reviews)
Located in Villiers-le-Mahieu, Chateau de Villiers-le-Mahieu - Les Maisons de Campagne is in a rural location, a 4-minute drive from Park and Castle of Thoiry and 15 minutes from Golf Club de la Vaucouleurs. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The bed extra comfortable ! So quiet and silent place.
Cons: The pool in the spa was really too cold.
Pros: The place was amazing
Cons: The room It wan not what I expected, nothing to do with the building and not what I saw in Booking page pictures; I was disappointed. The room was not bad, great bed and good bathroom, but the style had nothing to do with the chateau. It seemed to be an extension done with no coherence to the building. It is not the first time that the pictures I see in booking page are not representing the reality. I have the feeling that booking the room with Booking.com you get the worst rooms.
Pros: The grounds are stunning
Cons: It is a little expensive
Pros: Beautiful property and comfortable room.
Cons: Very rude and unhelpful staff at the bar.
Pros: Loved the entire experience. The beauty of the chateau, the friendly helpful staff and the lovely staff managing the beauty treatment/spa area. well kept areas - both clean, efficient and very relaxed environment. There are activities to cater for all - golf, pétanque, bicycles available everywhere, tennis court, outdoor pool, indoor pool with small gym, sauna and beauty treatment area and two choices of either the restaurant for more formal dining and a relaxed lounge bar for less formal dining.
Cons: The food was great. Only complaint I have is about some of the staff, most were very helpful, friendly and very efficient. There was only one staff member in the lounge bar that was worth complaining about, shame as he put a dark stain on the service from all others in the complex. there is always one isn't there?! Maybe a disgruntled ugly man-syndrome? He was much older and uglier than the other beautiful looking young wait staff maybe he had issues and wanted to take it out on unsuspecting solo travelers. Also should have booked my beauty treatment well in advance! Only managed one treatment in my short stay but was lucky to get that one thoroughly enjoyed.
Pros: Meal was very good
Cons: You are given the impression that you will stay in the old chateau However most rooms are located in a outbuilding where there is a restaurant for the people staying there. Although we enjoyed our stay we were slightly disappointed we did not have a room in the chateau
Pros: Beautiful property , great spa , delicious food
Cons: Nothing - but do recommend booking for dinner- they don’t tell you you have too at Check-in, but when we went to eat we were told it was full. Thanks to a fantastic maitre’d they squeezed us in.
Pros: beautiful castle silent hotel nice staff
Cons: room was way too hot with no possibility to reduce the temperature as the heating was centralized weird smell in the bathroom due to old pipes wifi was unavailable the pool in the spa was way too cold
Pros: Beautiful property, comfortable bed
Cons: Rooms and other common areas would need a refresh as a bit run down. Service standards could be improved - we ordered room service between 9-9:30 and at 9:40 as it was still not there we called them to be told that they had forgotten the order.
Pros: The setting. The offred bikes. So peaceful. Excellent food
Cons: Food average and typical with France over priced with a lack of choice
Pros: Calm 5 star
Cons: having to leave!
Cons: Booked for two nights and checked out the following morning. They sell you the idea of the Chateau, but you stay in a Hilton Style conferance centre. Staff and service best summurised as non existent
Pros: The hotel is well equipped and the Chataeu is very impressive
Cons: It lacks the warmth and service levels of the smaller Loire Chateaus
Pros: it was quiet and had lovely garden
Cons: it does not have a proper restaurant and is a bit short of staff
Pros: Ambience and setting was very good.
Cons: General lack of food and beverage facilities.Few staff available and no room service.Shown to the room and generally left to get on with it.

Relax in the comfortable rooms and then treat yourself to a delicious meal in the bright and stylish restaurant with terrace. In the summer, dive into the pool or give your wedding reception the grandeur it deserves in the extensive indoor and outdoor spaces. Take life as it comes at Novotel.
Pros: Delicious breakfast spread, and it was possible to eat outside, by the very nice swimming pool! Room was cozy and comfortable - although the hotel is next to a major route, it was not at all noisy.
Cons: Far away from everything.
Cons: Room Quality poor
Pros: Novotel Orgeval is in a good location for long trips North-South or South-North when avoiding Paris & most importantly it has Tesla chargers (stayed here in both directions this trip). Good no-fuss accommodation with good food & very nice helpful staff. Left my coffee cup behind but it was kept & was retrieved on the return visit. Nice Christmas tree bauble as a present
Cons: The hotel was fine. A minor matter is access by road from the North is via various Paris suburbs, which can be a bit slow; from the South one needs to do a U-turn near the hotel to gain entry, or go on a long motorway detour
Pros: Staff especially the lady at check in was exceptionally helpful.
Cons: Outdoor of hotel not clean at all.
Cons: A bit noisy, you can hear the door closing from your neighbours and from the room above you.
Pros: We didn't have breakfast. I extra booked this hotel because they had a restaurant, but apparently, they are closed on weekends. It was a bit of a hassle to go find food as there is nothing around.
Cons: It's very outdated. No restaurant even though the hotel was packed. I wouldn't book here again.
Cons: Entrance is difficult to identify as the entrance. Put a sign on the gate.
Cons: Restaurant food and service was very poor
Pros: Clean comfortable room, good sound proofing, good bed, desk in room, nice garden with pool, ok restaurant, nice atmosphere in hotel, other restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Restaurant staff a bit slow (but friendly), WiFi in room a bit weak and inconsistent (difficult to have web meeting), building felt a bit tired; eg doors

Located in Orgeval, B&B Hôtel ORGEVAL is within a 15-minute drive of Villa Savoye and Saint-Germain-en-Laye National Museum of Archaeology. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Could not get access to the car park
Pros: Very friendly staff and helpful, despite some of them do not speak English, but make every single effort to make sure you get what you need. Breakfast is good for the value charged.
Cons: Could be a cleaner and pillows are too soft, so recommend you bring your own (if possible) to avoid neck pain.
Pros: The correct soundproof walls
Cons: Very small room
Cons: They charged me twice, I contacted them to try to solve this problem but they don’t do anything.
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: The owners were very nice. Food at the restaurant was very nice.
Cons: There were no windows. A little bit stuffy. Had to keep the door open to get air in. As they were warm days it was hot
Cons: The breakfast was supposed to be: Croissants, Butter, Jam, Yoghurts, Fruit Juice, Coffee. The Croissants were burnt and not edible, there was no Butter or Jam for the Croissants. There was no milk for the coffee. There was only 1 towel in a room for 2 adults. The staff were never around to request another one so we had to share 1 towel for 2 nights. The restaurant was not open when we arrived. They closed the bar at 8:30pm even though we had just booked in. The restaurant closed on day 2 and the bar also so we had no chance to eat or drink.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent - fresh bakery, fruit & coffee
Pros: The only breakfast on offer was prepacked which would be delivered to room and eaten in room, we declined. The room was newly decorated as was the bathroom.
Cons: The sign outside said hotel/restaurant. There was no restaurant and it looked as if it had closed down some time ago. We had been travelling all day but could get no food nor could owner suggest anywhere to eat. The nearest town, Beynes is in quite large, bold print on AA map. Do not be fooled, it has three so called restaurant/bars but none sold food, you would not want to eat there anyway. There is a small shop where we bought sliced cheese, apples and a bagette, anything which could be eaten without being cut as we had no knives or forks. We did at least have wine so had a "picnic" at 8.00pm outside our room. The owner took pity on us and did give us a very nice bottle of wine which was kind of him. This is fine for an overnight stop but take your own food! Moral: Don't assume that because a town is shown on the AA map in reasonably large, bold print it is a reasonably large place, Beynes was not.
Pros: The restaurant under the rooms was cosy, and the service was fine.
Cons: The room had no window - only a door facing a terrace which was were other gust gained acces to their rooms. The room was very hot, and the somewhat synthetic covers didn’t help. We were offered breakfast in our room, which we happily accepted. When we came back from dinner - breakfast had been delivered already. Thus all drinks were lukewarm by morning... not a succes.

Cons: We did not have a good experience there. When we arrived the pin code for the parking was not working, nobody was there to help us, we were more than 1 hour outside waiting for someone to open and it was not a person from the hotel. The check in time informed was until 10pm and nobody was there 8pm. The check in was on machine and works fine but we booked a twin bed and they give us bunk bed. The bedroom was nothing equal the pictures, it mention there is carpet and it did not. It didn’t have soap and just 1 towel. We called the properties lot of times and nobody answered. Also the wifi was not working. Worse experience booking ever.
Pros: Private parking.
Cons: Very basic breakfast, overpriced Small rooms
Pros: Price, Breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: All Ok
Pros: Good continental breakfast.
Cons: Tiny, cramped bedroom and bathroom.
Pros: Very friendly family operated hotel! Great (and cheap) food/drinks on demand. Great value/money for that region. Enjoyed my stay!
Cons: The hotel is located near industry terrain. So people leave early to go to work (showers and noise at 5-6).
With a stay at Campanile Epone in Epone, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Notre Dame de Mantes and Park Valley. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was extremely caring and compassionate.
Pros: breakfast good
Cons: - only problem was lack of water to the bath - much too slow
Pros: Bed ok. Nearlz not breakfast left at 9.30. Location near A13.
Cons: Late night check in was difficult as gates shut and had to wait for 10 mins to get in. Metal shutters on windows didn't fill me with confidence...
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice clean room with a large bathroom (with a bad and shower), with a good bed and located closed to the highway.
Pros: Rooms are big enough, daily managed. However, during a cold time period, you can have a cold air passing under the door. Heating works fine but the floor is freezing.
Cons: Something should be done with the food in resto. There are not many options in Epone where to go for lunch or dinner, however, no one would go to Campanile due to the worst kitchen in the area. Really sorry about that.
Pros: Breakfast ok but on weekday shuts at 09.00 , so was rushed. Bedroom cleaned every morning Secure car park
Cons: Hotel appearance looking tired and in need of Decoration outside and on walkways. Carpets in room also looking worn minimal staff on duty so if required information , would have to wait a while. More tea and milk needed in room , had to go to reception a couple of times during stay to ask for tea and milk.
Pros: Was sufficient space for all of us
Cons: Staff has not able to speak English or Russian languages, so was very difficult to communicate. The room was cold, we had to have air conditioning on all night as gap between door and floor was around 4-5 am.
Pros: Breakfast was extremely simple and cheap.
Cons: Location of the hotel is not good. Breakfast and food is under average. Rooms are cold.
ibis budget, the smart accommodation choice! Paris city center is 30 km (18.6 miles) away, the Palace of Versailles is 12 km (7.5 miles) away, Thoiry zoo is 25 km (15.5 miles) away, and France Miniature in Élancourt is 25 km (15.5 miles) away
Pros: An affordable stopover
Cons: Very strong smoke smell in both rooms even though no smoking signs on display
Pros: Bed was ok and warm
Cons: Nothing really just wasn’t home from home
Pros: Clean and good price
Cons: Very hard to find
Pros: For a cheap hotel, the Ibis Budget in Orgeval provided everything that we needed and expected. It was good that the family of 3 could share one room, and this was clean and worked well for us arriving at 12.30am from Disneyworld Paris. The location could be confusing to find if the full address is not entered into Sat Nav.
Cons: No issues
Pros: GLUTEN FREE FOOD NOWHERE TO BE SEEN :-(
Cons: GLUTEN FREE FOOD NOWHERE TO BE SEEN
Cons: Very noisy hotel between 2 highways! No possibility to sleep!
Pros: I like the position of this hotel when I travel from Luxemburg to the coast of Normandy. For many reasons, one being the fact there is a safe parking (for free; just compare with some others). People are very nice. Breakfast is nice too.
Cons: Really, frankly, I have no negative remark. May be the difficulty to reach the place. I am used to it but get more grey hair every time I go there. Not the fault of the hotel, I know. So, 10/10
Pros: The staff at the reception as a really good service, helpful and good manner. I really appreciate the approach.
Cons: The breakfast bread was a bit hard to eat.
Located in Epone, Les Jardins d'Epône is within a 10-minute drive of Notre Dame de Mantes and Park Valley. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Sorry but nothing.
Cons: Everything. The staff was not welcome, we arrived late because of a wedding and started shouting. Cafe was closed so we didn't get our needed breakfast which was part of the payment. Bed sheets were not changed. The bathroom was dirty. We were kicked out as soon as we woke up by the cleaning service.
Pros: A correct, even above that, the restaurant. Most of the personnel of companies near the hotel are taking lunch here.
Cons: Rooms... No ventilation, old sanitary equipment. It really requires renovation. However, it's clean, rooms are managed every day. The hotel has a pond with fishes, this is nice and fun.
Pros: good people , good restaurant , good roses, showeroom end toillete, parking, " gaz stand ", " BIOCOOP" ( I love it! yaourt citron 2pot =1E 99 Don't miss up )you can buy what you want, cosmetics, foods, drinks, wine of France(vin) thank you so much your kind!
Cons: I miss frigo, icebox ,pool, daikincoolair conditioning !but it all right if you like all roses end all peoples.
Pros: the hosts who were very friendly. value for money.
Cons: a bit run down. room was smelling of damp. understaffed.
Pros: The Receptionist was very helpful and friendly! Doing everything with the smile! The garden is cozy and natural. Very calm place
