This hotel was not as advertised. It is in desperate need of remodeling and cleaning. The 'kitchen' was not equipped. The beds needed to be replaced. It was also very noisy.

Booked room for friend. At 2:15 AM there was a window being opened with a long reach for the door handle. Good thing my friend is ex cop. Grabbed the guy, but then he got away. Hotel indicated that he has done this before. No security, no cops when called, no manager to complain to.

I paid for 2 nights and only ended up staying one night. The sheets and bedspread were dirty, as well as the toilet. The tub faucet was also very leaky. Old and stained microwave.

Stopped for a one night stay on the way home. A little hard to get to at first until we were right on top of it. Not much around it, so it was quiet. Room was fairly large, but smelled like cigarette smoke. It was moderately clean. It met our need for the one night.

When I showed up at 1 am, there was no one working at the front desk. Come to find out, this was because the clerk was dealing with the two firetrucks with flashing lights that were parked in the back lot. The room itself smelled very strongly of smoke, despite it being marked as a non-smoking room. I was only staying here one night as I drove through town, which is about all this place was good for. It was tricky to find, and I didn't feel terribly safe while there.

The rates for the hotel are really cheap, and you get what you pay for. I stayed for 2 nights in June 2010 and it was okay. The first thing to note is that this hotel is located RIGHT next to train tracks. The first day, I slept well, left my room before 8:00am and didnt have any noise problems. The bed was okay in comfort even though the blanket was cheap and a little too thin and scratchy. The second day, I decided to sleep in, but that stopped at approximately 8:15am when trains started going by full force for about an hour. Between the room shaking and the train horns I wasnt able to return to sleep. The rooms are actually more spacious that I expected and contained a small fridge, microwave, 2 stove burners, a coffee maker (with no coffee) and some pots, pans, utensils, etc. Towels are provided, but there is no maid service, so to get new towels you have to take the dirty ones down to the front office and they switch them out. My biggest problem with my room/hotel was th...

Staff was very unorganized and not too helpful. Had to look at several rooms to get a decent one. Staff didnt even know which rooms were clean and which were being used. In the end room was good for the money

Really wasn't all that bad. Room was relatively clean and comfortable (smelled kind of weird though). If you can do without ANY of the normal amenities (like maid service for example) and absolutely have to have the cheapest room around it may be for you. I stayed three nights and slept well. Didn't really run into too much of a bad element like some other reviewers mentioned. Just sleep with a gun on your nightstand and you'll be fine!
