Located in Market Drayton, Ternhill Farm House is within a 15-minute drive of Hawkstone Park Follies and Hawkstone Park Hotel Golf Course. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent host, brilliant breakfast, really good local sausages, bacon and eggs. Only an hours drive to the brilliant brand name shopping outlet just outside Chester. Would definitely stay again if I'm heading up towards Liverpool/North Wales etc.
Pros: It was clean, the food was good and the hosts were nice
Cons: A closeness to a busy roundabout but did not disturb our sleep
Pros: Nice little touches in the room
Cons: Very noisy from being so close to the junction
Pros: Great location, easy to find, within 5 mins of the town centre. Plenty of parking, and a great warm welcome.
Pros: Room was well equipped, clean and comfy
Cons: I would have liked to read about the history of the house
Pros: Bathrobes in the wardrobe. Lots of breakfast choices. Fruit on the hall table to supplement biscuits in a tin in our room. Good recommendations about things we might enjoy doing. Host location for Wild Shropshire Restaurant so we didn’t need to drive anywhere after finishing dinner at 10pm.
Cons: Check out at 10 am is a bit early for us.
Pros: I needed a late check in after a long journey and they kindly kept the light on for me and met me at the door on arrival. Nice quick, polite, no-fuss check in, and Mike made sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was delicious, the place was cute and cosy, the facilities were great, the little extra touches were appreciated. Equally fuss-free check out, and Mike even ensured I knew what direction I was driving in. Given I spent literally about 11 hours there in total due to the late check in and early check out (business trip), I was very happy with my stay.
Cons: Some kind of alarm went off around midnight and took five minutes or so to be silenced, although I'm sure that was just as annoying for my hosts. Not sure what it was, but at least it didn't last all night!
Pros: Old world character
Cons: Traffic noise but to be fair if the window is closed you can’t hear it
Pros: Everything about Turnhill Farm House is beautiful. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was lovely and organised perfectly. It's cute and cozy. Totally relaxing. Thank you for a lovely stay
Cons: I didn't find one thing I didn't like
Pros: It was a fabulous warm and friendly hotel.
Cons: The lighting in the bedroom was a little too dim and the floor boards were a little squeaky, however none of this was a problem.

Pros: So welcoming from every ‘corner’! Great little cosy bar area! Great pints @ very reasonable prices! Great steak meal in the evening! Can’t fault the rooms from power shower to comfy bed! Very spacious! (Hate giving fantastic review incase it gets to popular!
Pros: Check in was quick and efficient and the room was spacious and clean. We stayed Friday 17th August to Sunday 19th. Very friendly staff. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we didn’t have any but the evening meal we had on the Friday was excellent. Check out time is 10:00 am but as we had booked a table for Sunday lunch they allowed us to keep the room till 12 at no extra cost. We can highly recommend their Sunday roast, I had beef and my partner the lamb. Cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Their desserts are to die for. Location was perfect for us as it was just outside Market Drayton where we were visiting friends.
Cons: There is nothing I can say I didn’t like about this accommodation
Pros: The manager and bar staff were friendly and went beyond their duty to make our stay fantastic definitely going back highly recommended
Cons: Nothing all goid

Pros: Very convenient for Market Drayton. Breakfast wss good. The young lady on reception and serving breakfast was exceptional.
Cons: Room was clean and tidy, but v tired. Shower was pretty weak to be honest. It suited our purpose for the night, and probably suits for passing through but for us not a long term stay.
Pros: Real ale, comfortable room, easy access to car park
Cons: Would have appreciated breakfast service at 7:00 am as I had to be at the Livestock Market for eight. Breakfast there cost an extra £7.
Pros: Good customer service and rooms were very quiet good food too
Cons: That our phones didn't work in the area
Pros: Staff are lovely
Cons: Showers are terrible rooms need serious update
Pros: Easily accessible .clean and comfy .staff VERY helpful
Cons: Shower was a bit less powerful than I’d like
Pros: Breakfast was fine, served hot. Location very handy Quiet.
Cons: The place is weary, rooms need updating, could do with an area with comfy chairs in a corner of the bar for guests to sit in or better ones in bedroom if space allowed.
Pros: Staff and food exceptional
Cons: Rooms are very dated, bit of a throw back to the 80's, desperate need of a refurb
Pros: Everything was very good the only thing I found was the beds creeks when you turn at night it woke me up other than that all good
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: A bit dated
Pros: Beds were comfy and had a good nights sleep, the staff were friendly and the food was good
Cons: The pressure of the shower and bath is shallow
