Excellent location. Quiet even in rooms on street side. Manager very accommodating and friendly. Restaurant was excellent.
A nice and fair hotel at affordable price. Friendly staff and good service. Good restaurant with nice food
Very Friendly Staff. Nice breakfast. Amazing views from our room.
Nice place, convinient room, good breakfast, considerate kind staff. We arrived late, and they tried to call us to let us know they leave a key for us outside... Nothing.
Very Helpful staff Only one of the staff could speak English
friendly staff, good food
It was a very nice and friendly family run hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions and did everything they could to provide us with a very pleasant stay No elevator but the steps are very wide and easy to use with luggage
The Gasthof provided excellent meal service
Welcoming very helpful Edglish speaking staff. Good restuarant with wide choice and staff who made you feel special, were fun and could not do enoughto assist. Room was pleasant and very clean. The hotel was quirky in its decor but that was part of the charm. Excellent deserves more than 2 stars. It was on a busy junction. The town was deserted in the evening.
staff good food and exellent weiss beer no
Located in center of town. Wonderful service by staff. Beautiful old hotel with updated baths, elevators, good parking.
The room, staff, facilities, and resturant were excellent. It was the best place we stayed during our holiday in Bavaria. Not applicable
The location and the pool and spa area. Very poor breakfast buffet and no hot food not even boiled eggs! One day I asked for eggs but they never arrived! The hotel was way under-staffed, presumably because it was the end of the ski season, it was very difficult to even order a drink in the empty bar!
Many good points, but we especially loved the leisure facilities, in particular the outdoor pool. Depends upon your preference, but it’s a very quiet village although we were happy with this.
The Alpine village feeling. location Most stores were closed on Sunday.
other than the negatives below i found everything else to our liking, especially the facilities. i did not think that the bedding was appropriate, that is, feather down, as i suffer from asthma (as i would of thought quite a few of your guests would be as well). However, i was given alternative bedding. The bar was not open on the day of our arrival (sunday). Would be nice to have english speaking channels on the tv other than CNN.
The wellness area was clean, spacious and nice. There were many different saunas to choose from. Staff was nice and helpful and the rooms were big enough. Nothing special
Friendly people, always eager to help. We thought we would have internet in the room, but that was not the case. But the hotel people helped us to solve the issue in a very practical way.
The hospitality of the staff, the facilities, the amazing breakfast, the huge roof garden stepping out of our hotel room, and the "look-and-feel" of a traditional old-style German hotel. Besides the bathroom, the rooms could use a makeover
The hotel was very clean and they had a bed for our 3 year old daughter and a crib for our son. There should be more English written brochures for things to do and where to go.
Super hotel, conveniently located to the sites we wanted to visit. Staff was friendly & helpful.
Staff was extremely courteous and friendly - practically everyone was ready with a greeting. The rooms were very quiet, spacious and modern, the sauna area good, an excellent breakfast buffet. Lake Chiem is only about a 15 minute drive away, and the mountains are practically in the back yard. The hotel is very family- and pet-friendly. WiFi was too expensive (though brief use for free was available in the lobby). The quality of the restaurant for dinner was disappointing - we ordered a la carte, but the dishes were overpriced and did not really correspond to the description in the menu. Most people seemed to choose the buffet. The swimming pools were not really usable for a halfway serious workout, as they were mostly in the posession of the kids.
Swimming pool and spa were very good. I think lounch and dinner were expensive for us.
fantastic breakfast, various offer of possibilities for the good and the bad weather
Size of the room and common areas of the hotel (restaurant, loby). There was no airconditioning in the room.
Dinner is very poor but expensive
The staff was incredibly nice and always willing to help! This was much more than you could expect. Even the fodd was surprisingly good!
Attentive owner/chef was friendly and helpful, and spoke English. In the adjoining restaurant, he took time to translate and elaborate on every item on the German-only menu. The restaurant offered tasty gourmet cooking in a quaint romantic setting. A small, free parking lot is located in front of the hotel/restaurant. Directly across the parking lot is a convenient Penny market for groceries and snacks. The hotel is a good overnight stopping point for Chiemsee visitors and it was convenient to have a breakfast nook/table with benches in our bedroom. An outdoor dining patio directly overlooks into the windows on one wall of our second floor bedroom. Furnishings are a bit dated.
Free car park, helpful and friendly staff, breakfast was better than average for hotels in this price range. bedroom and bath small but common in hotels in Europe.
The excellent atmosphere created by the hosts and the pure Bavarian style.
Beautiful surroundings. Friendly people. Excellent food. n/a
The hotel was excellent. The rooms were spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. The facilities were first class and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is a little outside of town so a car is necessary.
Amazingly clean, quiet and friendly. Everythign is very new! One of the best hotels we stayed at in Europe. Perfect location, right in the center of town, however it's still so quiet. And the shower drains! The breakfast was very filling and included in the price of the room. Located withinin walking distance of the Festsaal. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
El personal molt amable. Very friendly staff.
Very nice hotel - nice breakfast and very helpful staff
Excellent location in the centre of the resort, though rooms facing the main road are noisy. very good breakfast, with possibility to eat on the terrace/great mountain views. best thing for us:visitor pass, which gives you free admission to the swimming pools (in and outdoors) for every day of your stay. very nice atmosphere in town, truly holiday destination the noisy room (buses, tractors etc start driving by your window at 6 am..)and the very noisy bed. we woke each other when we moved in bed at night.
The Seishof is up on the hillside in a rural area, but still only about a 2-3 minute drive to Bernau am Chiemsee zentrum........location is very nice and quiet.......excellent veiw of the lake. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to Priem am Chiemsee to get on the ferry boat for HerrenChiemsee. The staff, the breakfast buffet, and the room rate were all excellent......I would definitely recommend the Seiserhof.
Close to local attractions, beautiful location, beautiful wooden building, nice outside seating area. The room was big and had good shower facilities. Highly recommend the restaurant next door, exceptionally good food. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fabulous. Within the hotel itself, the restaurant staff were cold and ignorant, slow to take orders and we are sure we were given someone's left overs for our dinner - it was disgusting (and it included a dead fly!). No apology given and we were sick the next day. The room was a good size but very dark as there was only one skylight and no windows. As there wasn't a bath only a shower, it was not ideal for a family with two babies.
Beautiful location in a very scenic area overlooking the lake and the mountains. The hotel room was lovely and we had a fabulous lake view. The room w as very clean. Buffet breakfast was ample and delicious. We would certainly recommend this hotel. The staff speaks either very little or no English which makes things a little awkward. The adjacent restaurant had great food but the service was slow and the staff not too friendly to foreigners. Our waiter was particularly rude.
Beautiful views to the lake, big spacious room (although we think we were upgraded as we had booked a room with balcony and initially were put in a room with no balcony). Even though English very limited, staff were friendly and smiley. I think the room may have been closed up for the season as it was missing most knives, forks, plates etc. Staff spoke virtually no english - the level of English spoken could be helpful on website. This was the most expensive Hotel we stayed in, and although lovely, no nicer than any of the others that we stayed in around Austria.
The food in the restaurant was good and represented good value for money. Room had been newly redecorated The room was over the kitchen and so was noisy until 12.00 and again from 05.45. The facilitities are all in the Seiserhof (sauna, internet) and not avialable in the Seiseralm. No credit cards accepted at Seiseralm.Staff could have been more friendly
Friendly staff, good food, nice room
The hotel was in a beatiful area with lovely views. A very good standard and excellent breakfast and restaurant. On arrival there was no one to recieve us - just a key left in an envelope with no explanation - just our name. There was no one around who appeared to speak any english. The overall impression was that this was a High Standard 'Corporate Type' Hotel which was just out to fill some spare beds during the 'low season'. There was absolutely no sense of personal 'customer care'. Having said that - we would use this hotel again because, functionally it suited our purpose for visiting Chiemsee.
Good value, convenient, beautiful location and friendly staff. As the gateway to the Tyrol it is perfect
Wonderful location, calm and quiet, like villages used to be in the old days. Place for kids to play. Flowers, trees, nice terrasse and restaurant with splendid food. Friendly welcome and great value for money. We will come again. Rooms were modern, so don't expect a traditional old style. They were a bit basic but clean and comfortable. No bath, but shower was fine.
very good hotel. nice breakfast. the room is quiet and clean. good beer as well
Nice staff, completely renovated rooms, great location. Highly recommended if you want a nice, quiet hotel in the Bavarian country side.
The Gasthof is in a very actractive village setting, the room was newly refurbished to a high standard and was immaculately clean. The restaurant was very popular with local people and we found the food to be of excellent quality. We were travelling to Italy and it proved to be an ideal stop-over just 10 mins from the Autobahn. No
No remark, everything was OK. I would recomend GPS for help to find a hotel, in my case road was closed, because of reconstruction and evening arriving, GPS was very helpful.
Quiet idyllic location. Well appointed room, especially bathroom. Good restaurant frequented by locals. Cheerful staff.
The whole experience was wonderful wish we had stayed there longer.
Excellent facilities and food, superb vista from all windows, very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was most enjoyable. None
beautifull hotel, friendly owneress, very nice breakfast difficult to find, especially at night
Staff couldnt do enough to help, very welcoming. The spa is very romantic and lovely. Our apartment was very spacious, luxurious and immaculate. It also had a double balcony and aromatherapy in the room. Great central location but not noisy. Couldnt be better.
Large balcony overlooking the mountains and the city. Absolutely stunning views, unforgettable moments with a glass of wine in the evenings or kruassony with coffee in the morning with breathtaking views and clean air. The house has an elevator, which is very important especially for the upper floors. The hostess is very friendly and responsive uncomfortable sofa. lacked a microwave oven in the kitchen
IWe were very happy with Haus Feichtner. We liked the location of the hotel/apartment to the village and village-related activities. We also liked thought the hotel was very nice, with beautiful balconies and views of the mountains. The facility has a nice swimming pool and restaurant on-site. The owner of the property is wonderful. She did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Our stay there could not have been better. In fact, we extended it by a week because it was so nice. Reit im Winkle is an excellent location for a summer holiday. I highly recommend Haus Feichtner. We hope to return for the winter season! We also hope to see this very nice family again! Best regards, Betsy
