Pros: Excellent location near main highway in France. B&B is near beautiful and old village Mirmande which is full of restaurants. The over of the B&B was helpful and very friendly. A breakfast was reach and tasty. We enjoyed our stay very much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Vergers de la Bouligaire. Manue was a great host... offering us a cold drink as soon as we arrived. The room was beautifully decorated (and included lovely touches ... such as a vase of fresh flowers, books about the area and a bowl of apricots and nectarines picked from the orchard on the bench ). The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious .... we were able to sample jams handmade by Manue with freshly baked cakes and local bread. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thankyou again Manue for a wonderful stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Manue and her husband were great hosts! What a beautiful location on a working farm! When we arrived we were great with a lovely cold juice from the fruits of the farm! Our accommodation was lovely a nice clean and nicely decorated room and ensuite . There fresh flowers and a bowl of stone fruits from the farm! It was incredibly hot when we arrived so the pool was well received! After a swim we walked about 10-15 mins into town to explore! What a beautiful village! Lots of nice place to eat or grab a beer and wine! Manu invited us for evening drinks! Which was just lovely! There were 4 nations around the table chat and laughing! Many and her husband shared their wine and Manu had made several plates of local delicacies! We had such a lovely evening! I love clafoutis and Manu had made a apricot and peach clafoutis for breakfast and it was sensational! Lots of lovely bread, croissants home made jams and fresh fruit for breakfast. Thank Manu and your husband we only stayed one night but it was just lovely!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely fruit farm within short walking distance to the village.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the gîte were super friendly and helpful in giving recommendations, both for dinner as well as things to do in the surrounding area. The space is cozy but super cute and has all you might need; the breakfast which is included is definitely A+ as well as the little dog that belongs to the owner. The place is also close to Miramande which is convenient for dinner.
Cons: The WiFi had some issues that the owne tried to fix but couldn’t figure out (turned out ok in the end since disconnecting for a day or two was ok).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place! We only spend one day, but everything perfect. Nice little pool. Surounded by fruit trees. You can walk to the village in 10 minutes. Breakfast was super! Good stop over for Route Du solleil.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: My husband mentioned we had to leave at 7 am to catch the ferry at Calais and although they don't normally offer breakfast that early (which we said was fine - didn't expect any), the owner got up early and provided us with an excellent breakfast anyway - together with a piece of homemade cake for the journey!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very nice and very helpful. They have a sweet dog that we saw at breakfast each morning and it was a delicious breakfast. The property and nearby town are beautiful.
Cons: The room did not have enough space for a kitchenette, but we could use a refrigerator and microwave and hot water pot in an adjacent storage building which was very rustic....it should be improved. Otherwise, the place is perfect.

Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic location with tasteful design and furnishings that create a sense of calm and quality. The service, food and hospitality was brilliant and, we felt, good value for money. We ate at the restaurant and the grill, different experiences but equally enjoyable and excellent food. Staying here was the highlight of our holiday. We will be most definitely be back!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Rooms, tastefully decorated and furnished. Breakfast was lovely each morning, especially eating out on the terrace. The family pool was great as we did not need to worry too much about the children being a little loud and enjoying themselves as it was a family pool with other families there. We had a family suite with access to the Turret which was fantastic, such lovely panoramic views of the area.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location, pool and restaurant
Cons: Our suite could have been on better standard.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Most gorgeous location. Amazing dinner. Million dollar views.
Cons: Not really a con, but wouldn’t suggest the hotel to friends with kids. We have one, but left him at home for our stay here. However there were some kids there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The chateau is in very beautiful countryside and it was lovely to walk around the property. Eating outside on the terrasse for breakfast and dinner was lovely, very special. We went to some local restaurants which were also excellent.

Pros: This is such a beautiful hotel, with an incredible view. The rooms are comfortable and modern and there are lovely facilities, including 2 pools (one with a view over the mountains) and a new spa. It’s a truly romantic getaway spot.
7.9 Good
Pros: Fantastic spot, lovely and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and very nice rooms. Excellent restaurant.
Cons: Bit too much perfume in the room when we arrived. But a bit of airing solved the problem.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay, whether for one night or many. Our hosts couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, both in advance and in person. Gorgeous breakfast, lovely room; shame we didn't have time to get in the pool. Thanks so much for everything.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, and comfortable room. The ample breakfast included with the stay was spectacular and one of the best we’ve ever had in our many trips to Southern France. The numerous cheeses, charcuterie, fresh fruit salad, breads and croissants, cake, fresh juices and many varieties of homemade jam made from fruit grown on the property were all fresh, local and delicious.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners are lovely. Imagine a fairy tale about a French grandmother who lives in a farmhouse; this is it. Lots of space, authentic charm, excellent breakfast with homemade produce, open fire in the dining area. We liked everything about it. Good restaurants in the nearby village. Our room had a private roof terrace - recommend getting that one if you can.
Cons: The road to the village isn't ideal for walking in the evening - it's better to drive to the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Very comfortable room with table and chairs outside the room. Pool was very refreshing after a day in the car. On the outskirts of a small village with a couple of restaurants. We tried the less expensive one. They were catering for a wedding and seemed a bit disorganised. Food was average at best. I suspect the other restaurant would have been a better choice. The nearby village of Mirmande is spectacularly beautiful and well worth a visit. This is an area we would hope to revisit and spend more time in. We would certainly stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is like paradise! beautiful surroundings, huge garden with all kinds of trees and plants. The owners are just great - so nice. friendly and warm. We had an entire floor all for us including an air conditioner, beautiful bathroom and a nice bedroom. Everything was very clean. The fresh fruit and the home made jams for breakfast were wonderful. This is a must visit place!!
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location and the hospitality. Beautiful old farm house with wonderful swimming pool. This place has lots of heart and love in everything it stands for. Thank you to your wonderful family Madam Chabriere, And to you too. Susanna and Quincy
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Therese and Jacques were fantastic hosts - very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting in the peaceful countryside and yet very close to 2 neighbouring villages which were easily accessible by foot for dinner in the evenings. The converted farmhouse was lovely and very tastefully furnished with antiques. There was a swimming pool, and a roof terrace with outstanding views.
Cons: No drawbacks for us.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is a very old, interesting, farmhouse in lovely grounds, and we had to put GPS co-ordinates in the sat-nav in order to find it! We received a nice welcome from the cheerful lady owner, who, because we were the first guests to arrive, let us choose which room we wanted. She recommended a restaurant (La Fontaine) in the village for dinner, and because there was a concert on that evening and it would be busy, she came back and said she'd booked for us, which was very kind. We had a walk through the fields up to the village, meeting a couple of locals for a chat on the way, and collected handfuls of figs on our way back, which we handed in for everyone to share at breakfast. Comfortable bed, good shower, plenty to eat at communal breakfast, friendly host - what's not to like?
Cons: Not being able to stay longer and explore the area.

Pros: Beautifully restored Chateau Lovely room Excellent host Beautiful area Apologies I did use the bath! It was 100F coming through Lyon that day!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideally situated for a half-way stop on the way to northern Spain from north-eastern France. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet with a view over Mirmande. We arrived in time to make use of the pool, still catching the sun at the end of the day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fabulous hosts, made to feel very welcome, very helpful with local information also. Our room was beautifully furnished and in typical French flaire. Our bed was wonderfully comfortable and fitted with nice linen. A very nice stay
Cons: Check in time was very late, even if you couldn't have your room it would have been nice to be able to use pool from sat 2pm as it was so hot just to be waiting around in the car. Check out time early too. Internet was poor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean Great shower Good air conditioning Nice breakfast Nice pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. It was a joy to stay.
Cons: Nothing, it was lovely.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed one night as a convenient stop on our way south after arriving on an evening flight. The host was helpful and communicative before we arrived, allowing us to check in quite late in the evening. The room was large and comfortable and very French in style with a decent bed and ensuite. The location was very convenient to access the motorway but was quiet and rural and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast consisted of croissant, bread, cheese, meat, jams etc with coffee and tea and was tasty and plentiful. It is taken at a large communal dining table and we managed to exchange a very few words in our poor French with the other guests who were all more local. If you have an alergy for something like gluten be aware that breakfast is quite bread based so perhaps pack a snack. Check out was simple, remember you need a few Euros in cash for the local tourist tax.
Cons: The ensuite was visually impressive with a large freestanding roll-top bath, but the hotel are trying to improve their ecological impact (commendable) so didn't provide a plug, instead there was a hand-held shower wand with no wall fitting in the middle of the room which was a bit of a pain. A proper shower would have been much better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very good ... good selection of food to eat. Home made jam.
Cons: N/A

Pros: Perfectly located between lavendel fields, absolutely charming
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and comfortable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a wonderful chambres-d'hotes in an old mansion in a calm place in the middle of fields! The hosts are very pleasant and helpful (merci beaucoup, Pierre), the building is very-well maintained, the rooms are clean and well equipped, the breakfast is delicious composed from local products (yoghurt, jams, fruits). In the night there is no a single noise, just stars in the sky- very relaxing atmosphere.
6.7 Good
Pros: Big and spacious. Very clean.
Cons: Well. It was very hot. I was not expecting air con but I would have thought that there would have been a fan or 2. None of us were able to sleep as it was 28 degrees in the bedrooms and no breeze. Fans are not expensive and would have made the nights stay more comfortable. Especially when you are paying €150 a night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely old house in the Drome region, sympathetically restored and beautifully but simply decorated. Both rooms were light and airy, immaculately presented and very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and provided an amazing breakfast, with everything home-made. We particularly loved the joghurt and gigerine jam!
Cons: We honestly could not think of anything.
