10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, beautiful, spotless, calm property, very friendly hosts. Nice breakfast selection.
Cons: Dinner was a disappointment. Pizza was lovely, but seafood pasta was a real shame. Taste your product please! This dish was awfully tasteless, uncreative and overpriced. your region has such tasty products!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice, spacious rooms with modern design It is a big property, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, but it’s all new. Very nice and friendly staff!
Cons: This would pass as a 5 star hotel anywhere in Italy, but in Puglia there are so many cool, unexpected “masserias” where you can stay, that the expectations are just higher. It feels more like a chain-hotel. It’s a bit generic and it lacks a personal touch. There is almost no shade on the entire property. Puglia can be very hot and some shade on the room’s patio would be great. The pillows are very thin, I’ve never seen such long-thin pillows & they are Not comfortable...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and relaxing by the pool. The olive oil produced On the property was also 5-stars!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Dinner could be a little more tasty was a little bland and same menu both nights .....breakfast and coffee was fab!
Cons: See above
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, friendly and helpful. Spoke a variety of languages, so can cater for most people. Room was a good size, modern and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well, and is needed. Good food and wine. Good pool with bar for drinks, snacks and lite lunches. Good location just off the autostrada so easy to reach both coasts. Less than 30 mins from Otranto and about 40 mins from Gallipoli. Seemed to be no issue with mosquitos.
Cons: Getting to the end of the season so some of the pool loungers need a bit more maintenance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only stayed for one night but very enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally polite and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast had a good choice of items. The Masseria as a restaurant and would recommend eating there as there is nothing in the local town.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Out of the more then 100 hotels, B&B's, agriturismo's and masseria's i've booked via in Italy, this was the best one. Not only is everything very luxurious, well-maintained and just really beautiful and authentic, the staff is also extremely friendly. From Stefano, who is in charge of breakfast, to the director who knows everything about the structure and it's history, till the fantastic chef who makes lunch and dinner from local products. Fantastic place, i wish i'd never left. An absolute recommendation. Oh yes, the pool is... wow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality of the staff - everyone was attentive, so polite but very helpful in every way. The room was characterful and luxuriously spacious - very comfortable. The grounds including the swimming pool were superbly kept and very attractive. Breakfast was consistently excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, lovely well run hotel in superb grounds
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building and surrounding, the staff was extra nice and very helpful and made everything they could to accommodate us.
Cons: The double room we booked through was really tiny and average. We payed extra to get a bigger, much nicer and cosier room. The WiFi was almost inexistent in the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a gem! You drive through extensive olive groves (all owned by the family), park under the trees, then walk up the final part of the drive to a tall arched doorway set in walls built originally for protection. Inside, the ancient courtyard has been converted into a garden oasis with lawns and palm trees. The bedrooms abut the protective outer walls on two sides, with the dining room and public rooms on the remaining two. A passageway leads to a further courtyard with an enormous square swimming pool. We loved the sense of peace, the spaciousness, the beauty and the history (this was originally an 18th century staging post, where travellers stayed overnight and changed their horses as they journeyed to the far south of Italy).
Cons: This is definitely not a criticism, just a note of realism. Because the owners have been faithful to the building’s history, the bedrooms are simple with only small windows in the outer wall. They’re entirely comfortable but not luxurious. It doesn’t detract at all from the fact that this is a rural oasis where you can really relax.
