The room had a bed. Restaurant looks like it serves really good food but we did not try. This was surprising based on the rest of the hotel. The room looked as though it had been burgled. There was very little in the room apart from the bed which wasn't great. The carpet had white-ish stains all over it - did not remove shoes. Bathroom was clean but very sparse. You have to bring all your own toiletries unless you are happy to use liquid soap from a dispenser on the wall. The light in the bathroom was really bad and I am not sure if I went out looking like Coco the clown as I could not see to do my make-up.
Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Good value, good location for my business in Le Creusot. Modern restaurant, with reasonable choice of dishes, fixed menu or a la carte. Eat outside, in a covered veranda or inside the restaurant. Room had a nice sized en suite, with large shower cubicle two shower heads, well decorated and maintained. The AC was either being installed or overhauled, and was not operational at the time of my stay, however, two fans were proved which proved more than adequate for my stay in July 2010. I have further business in August and will use this hotel again.
The hotel was easy to find and all the staff were very helpful. Location is good if you need tio travel across France. The breakfast was €7 but was very bad value. There was really no service and the selection of food poor. But it would not stop me staying in the hotel again, I just would not have breakfast.
Good location, quiet and clean.
Hotel was good value. The room was large and in good condition. The Internet worked straight off, no problems. The continental breatfast is one of the cheapest, I have had on my holidays, but gave the best value. It is quite early and is problably orientated toward the business rather the tourist traveller.
The owner/chef of the hotel and the staff were very friendly, the rooms were luxurious and well cleaned. Delicious meals in the evening and all in all a very professional restaurant. 5 stars! It's quite out of reach from the speedways (I stayed one night while travelling to southern France via the A6/A7); there's little to nothing to do in the immediate surroundings, and you might want to check with the hotel if they received the reservation from booking.com (which they didn't in my case, but I was offered a slightly better room at the price of my original booking).
It was a pity we stayed in the annex on the other side of the street. However, the house was compfortable, the rooms were large, good, clean but a bit dated....I understood that the hotel itself has been renovated. Also the lobby is newly done. Food is excellent. Jeune Restaurateur D'Europe.
Hotel is old but well maintianed. The room was tastefully finshed and the dinning room was quaint. The food was first class. Bath was old but very clean could be modernized.
- In the centre of town - parking space - beautiful location next to Basilique - Breakfast could be more fresh and French, less standardized
friendliness of the staff, old style charm of the hotel the croissants and coffee at breakfast - we've had better in France
Location was great and interesting.
We were satisfied no
Excelent Excellent restaurant with reasonable price.
5 course dinner for a reasonable price was better than in the Michelin star restaurant next evening. True!! Remote site, for us little difficult to find. Maybe need better instructions
We had a lovely, well furnished big room. The hotel is in the heart of the countryside, it was very peaceful with wonderful views The directions/maps were dire - we had to ask for help in order to get there. Breakfast wasn' t too plentiful, and their were flies everywhere in the dining room , to be expected maybe in the countryside. The owners seemed not to be troubled by them, but we found them bothersome whilst eating.
Friendly staff. The hotel is a country house totally immers in the countryside and not so easy to find but the landscape was great and the room was superb. 30 minutes from Cluny
This hotel is OK for a short trip. Very friendly people. Breakfast was a lot and fresh.
good food in the restaurant for a good price, rooms are clean but small, good enough for a short stay, friendly people.
Great service, owner drove me to the only open restaurant in town as most where closed due to a religious holiday
Room was comfortable, and the Restaurant was superb. The location was good for a night stop.
Clean room and quite comfortable bed, free internet connection.
Owner spoke good English; very helpful and made me feel very welcomed. The walls are thin, thus it is easy to hear talking from the next room. Restaurant food was very good as well as the service. I can recommend this hotel for anyone going there. It is excellent value for money. Thin walss; could not understand why I had someone next to me when the hotel just had a few guests.
The room is in big need of renovation. Hard beds
Easy to find, quiet location, air conditioning, pool, restaurant...
Nice located between fields, swimming pool, possibility of hlaf-pensoin
Very friendly personnel and the food was good Smallish room
Easy to find, plenty of parking space, excellent swimming pool, quiet and peaceful location. Twenty years ago this hotel was on the cutting edge but is now beginning to show its age. The wi-fi worked for just ten minutes of my two night stay.
A good overnight stay hotel, for travelling through France. Pleasant and helpful staff. No bad points, however may we suggest a warning regarding the very high of the Hot Water to avoid possible accidents.
convenient location, easy to find, quiet, clean,.basic but fairly priced.
Excellent ,friendly staff-the rooms basic but clean and the restaurant served very good value for money food and wine . Personally I found my bed very hard!
