Pros: Clean and nice rooms. Very good breakfast and excellent dinner as optional. The guest house is run by a truly exceptional friendly family. If you would like to stay in Martuni, this is the place. Biker friendly.
Pros: The owner is very nice and the breakfast excellent.
Cons: Compared to the other B B, there is a high price for accommodation.
Pros: Very easy to find( which is very unusual in Armenia). The hostess is very hospitable. You will be full all the time. They have a big garden which everything is grown. They even keep some bees.
Cons: Toilet was really dirty and uncomfortable since it is located downstairs (room is upstair). Owners are not as friendly as usual in Armenia, we arrived late and they didn't offer us supper and just disappeared after preparing a tea. Breakfast was nothing special. Very bad money for value.
Pros: Arriving from Vardenis, the property was a short walk from where the marshutka to Sevan stops. Nearby there are shops, a large supermarket, and the town center -- all within walking distance. The hosts are exceedingly friendly and warm, and the property is comfortable to stay in. Mount Armaghan, which is nearby, is worth visiting, and the host can arrange a guided visit there.
Cons: Really the only issue I had during my stay was cleanliness, which could have better, and the wifi connection.
Pros: This was a homestay. We had a very large bedroom and the upstairs living room to ourselves. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We arrived quite late in the afternoon, and were starving since we had not eaten since breakfast. With no advanced warning, our hostess prepared a wonderful dinner for us in only an hour. All ingredients were fresh from their extensive garden. The son gave us a tour of the new guestrooms that they are constructing in an adjoining house, which will make the stay even more comfortable. This was a perfect place to stay at the southern end of Lake Sevan, as we intended to drive over the Selim Pass to Yeghegnadzor the following day. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The only inconvenience was that the bedroom was upstairs and the toilet was downstairs. This will not be an issue when the new guestrooms have been completed, as all facilities will be on the same floor.
Pros: Very nice owner lady, really charming and friendly. We felt like we were at mothers:)
Cons: Beds were too short.
Pros: We really liked the diner with lots of vegetables
Cons: There were no fly nets on the windows, nor were there any curtains. In the afternoon the sun shined in our room and made it warm. Opening the windows let mosquitoes in, there were many in the bed room. We advice to equip the windows with fly nets and curtains. And also repair the window opening mechanism.
Pros: Perfect accomodation in family property. Delicious food. Owners arranged transport to the start of mountain trek.
Pros: We were very happy here. The food was excellent; good ingredients, well prepared (breakfast and a very tasty and good value dinner). The owner was really helpfull. She arranged for someone to change money for us. We were given a bag of fresh fruit from the garden. We would be happy to stay here again.
Cons: It would be good if the bedroom had curtains to cut out car light, sunlight, moonlight. A shower curtain would help keep the water off the bathroom floor.
