Pros: breakfast was top drawer , log fire in evening with no TV perfect!!!!
Cons: welcome could have been more enthusiast
Pros: Very nice place to stay . Good food and nice chat. Although basically Dutch owned and orientated - you will not feel a stranger if you speak French or English.
Pros: Fabulous setting, excellent dinner and breakfast. Owners extremely welcoming and made us feel instantly at ease. Dinner is highly recommended !
Pros: Amazing property and great food!
Pros: The place was great and relaxing Evening meal a delight Hosts where exceptional
Pros: Excellent friendly welcome. Great hospitality. Beautiful building rooted in history. Peaceful surroundings. Spacious rooms, furnished in style with the building. Top restaurant quality dinner with lovely company. Saskia and Martijn really know how to receive guests and make them feel at home. Wholeheartedly recommended.
Pros: Dinner with our hosts was both delicious and very interesting, as they were charming and very nice. Breakfast was amazing. A wonderful omelette with fresh eggs and mushrooms, both from the property.
Pros: Friendly people, perfect place
Pros: This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in and the owners make your stay extra special. Amazing meals, lovely house and attentive service. A big 10 out of 10.
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: Excellent meals, breakfast and evening meal. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Location.
Cons: We thought that the meals included drinks, but the welcome drink , a beer at the evening meal and coffees were charged as an extra. ( not excessive but we should have been told)
Pros: The location of this property is in a beautiful area of countryside. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival which continued throughout our stay. The evening meal was nothing short of outstanding and enjoyed by all. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Excellent value for money
Cons: Our schedule only allowed us to stay for one night!
Pros: Everything was perfect
Pros: Very hospitable owners Theo & Von. Excellent room and facilities. Only negative was cost of dinner and wine. Dinner€29.50 per person would be acceptable for a restaurant where there was a selection of dishes. My wife liked the meal but I was unimpressed by very thick cauliflower soup. Duck was overdone for my taste and the sauce over sweet. My main criticism was the price of thr wine. Roche Mazet (Pay d’Oc) Cabernet Sauvignon - if I remember correctly - for which we were charged €15.00 for a bottle. Perfectly drinkable but well known to me as a cheap wine and I found it in Carrefour Mrket a couple of days later priced at €2.60. (500% mark-up a bit steep, to say the least). Breakfast was absolutely fine.
Cons: I would recommend this b&b highly but advise eating out.
Pros: The hosts were wonderful and the setting beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner prepared and served by our hosts, Theo and Von. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the vicinity.
Cons: The property is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Lovely clesm room with a comfy bed. Great food and bar. A much needed swimming pool.
Pros: A fantastic British couple went out of their way to welcome us and make us comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Nothing. All was just fine.
Pros: We were bowled over with everything about Le Petit Café Anglais from the minute we arrived and were met by the manager David. David and his wife Mandy were the consummate hosts. the establishment was immaculately clean and very well designed with a great covered walk way connecting the accommodation to a sub-tropical garden with fish pond, fish tank, flowers and shrubs surrounding a lovely hot-tub. finally down some stairs and past the sauna was the door to the outside swimming pool which surely has to be the jewel in the crown for the surrounding region. Our family and friends staying locally joined us for the Sunday afternoon and evening for a meal in the restaurant and were all amazed at the opulence of our accommodation. The quality and quantity of the food served in the restaurant was second to none and the bar was as well stocked as any British hotel and/or restaurant. Mandy was a superb hostess and seem to be in charge of the restaurant and bar making sure all customers were served and well catered for. We would definitely recommend Le Petit Café Anglais (which incidentally is as popular with French guests as it is with passing British tourists) to anyone seeking a break in the Borganouf/Montboucher/Creuze (spelling) region and we will be making every effort to return in the future.
Pros: The location an the facilities were fabulous the owners were very friendly and really accommodating the food in the restaurant was great and very reasonably priced we found this hotel by chance and we will definitely go back highly recommended a gem hidden a fantastic part of France.
Pros: Hot tub, it was amazing!
Cons: The food was basic and assembled rather than freshly made and prepared from scratch
Pros: A warm welcome into a comfy, warm and well equipped Bed and Breakfast in the Limousin. The bedrooms were well equipped with lovely ensuites, comfy beds and clean soft linen. Whilst we visited in the winter the facilities here for summer are absolutely excellent, large decks with stunning views, hot tub, swimming pool and plans for a sauna. Dave and Mandy gave us a warm welcome (and a cold beer) on arrival to their excellent inn. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. This is a gem of a place to stay in a lovely area and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Pros: Dana is the perfect friendly and helpful hostess. We ate at the hotel every day and the food was excellent and great value for money. Dana was very flexible, preparing meals as and when it suited us, and the atmosphere in the beautiful old panelled dining room was amazing, with a warming log fire every day- just what was wanted after a day out in the cold and rain!
Cons: Breakfast, also too many dogs running about.
Pros: The stay was lovely. The room was lovely
Cons: Said there was a coffee machine but had a kettle with items to use for a coffee machine. On the second floor with lots of steps. Should have asked the hotel about this before my stay, so my fault not the hotel.
Pros: Breakfast & hospitality
Pros: Great host Yvon and Damian make you feel really at home.
