Clean and comfortable rooms, great location, very nice stuff! There's no fault to be find!
Large, comfortable, pleasant room with balcony. Good location and decent breakfast. Chain hotel so rather impersonal. It took ten minutes to get my key from the rececptionist on one occasion as she was on the phone.
location comfortable staff friendly reasonably priced en suites a bit dated, maybe fixtures and fittings showing their age breakfast very limited
Location of hotel allowed easy access to Estrela mountains. Staff were as helpful as possible and nothing was too much trouble. Very accomodating.
Friendly staff, okay breakfast, good, clean rooms, hotel restaurant was not bad- decent Portuguese food for Portuguese prices. We had booked a triple room but were given a double room (so my wife and I could sleep together) with two extra beds for our children (6&7). With the extra beds folded out, the room was rather cramped, but we did not mind.
The Hotel Mira Serra is comfortable, the rooms with great balcony to a nice lanscape and to a very nice and great garden and the hotel is located in the centrum of the modern city services. it is all O.K.
Staff, location - ease of touring the area Tired bathroom facilities and furniture -especially the bed.
The management and all of the staff provided a high level of service throughout my stay. The Hotel was maintained to and excellent standard and the meals were indvidually prepared and were supurb.I will be recomending Hotel Mira Serra to my friends.
Convenient for motorway, attentive staff, value for money Booking.com website gave me wrong exit from motorway. Hotel in need of refurb, or could become "period" furnishings in a few more years
a nice hotel with a good resturant
The pool was great. Enjoyed the view. Staff was nice. Bathrooms looked newer. Wish they had a fridge in room.
excellent view from the balcony. hard to find the hotel.
Good location for a quiet break A little shabby things like curtains not working perhaps a few flowers in resturant would be nice (just a couple of stems in small vases on tables) Found it difficult to find could do with some more signs or clearer directions
Poor food quality
3 excellent swimming pools, 1 of which indoor; great view from the hotel; excellent value for money; great location, real close to Mangualde, yet you have to have a car; nice restaurant near by. the breakfast was very simple, only continental; everyone should wear caps in the indoor pool, yet, nobody did and there was no staff noticing that.
Excelent location and good value for money
Location Very poor restaurant meals
Very kind staff Old building and rooms, old linnen, but still clean.
Room was very clean and bed was excellent. View is superb and the surroundings are outstanding! Tv set had a small screen.
Excellent WC Reserver double bed and got twin bed.
The manager was super, offering help with local tourist attractions, wine selections and other advice.....kudos
It was advertised as being near Guarda.......it was definitley not!!!!!!
good value for money
Hotel well appointed Staff friendly and helpful
Very nice hotel wwith a relaxing atmosphere and nice staff
Hotel staff great; rooms basic but completely adequate; breakfast good - liked the use of local farm products (e.g., their yogurt and jams); good value for money. Restaurant food left something to be desired - but breakfast was just fine.
A very honest down to earth hotel, friendly helpfull staff, could not do enough for one.we hopr to return agian sometime in the future.
The hotel has an excellent location. The accommodation are simple, but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast could be better. It lacks variety.
the attitude of the host to us as tourists was outstanding late breakfeast [ served at 9 o'clock]
Excelent value for money and very good facilities. The staff is limited. Only 2 persons to take care of the hotel. One at the reception (that also takes care of the breakfast buffet), and another to clean the rooms. The restaurant was not working, only the breakfast buffet. Seems the manager likes to cut on the staff or something and that's a pity.
The hotel was clean. It also has a good location. Rooms were cold or not properly heated and there were not enough blankets. Staff is not present during the night.
Recent construction, very nice to stay. Good car parking. They do not have enough rooms with double bed, just with two single beds. Room color and decoration could be enhanced, but just if this doesn't change the rate.
The situation The restaurant
Lack of Staff. Only one person to attend the costummers.
Excellent and very warm reception by the hosts, hotel in a wonderful old country house in a tiny historic village, breakfast served in an authentical country kitchen with local traditional products (Serra da Estrella cheese, homemade bread and jams, etc). Excellent memories
The owner is a kind gentleman and pleased with the accomodation he offers. The bedroom was spacious and had an quintessential feel. The garden and surrounding countryside was all beautiful. The texture of the pillow.
wonderful place, lovely people, and ell kind of jams. We can recommend it to anyone, who would like a tranquille place.
The lady who was the helper was so helpful and friendly and it was she alone who made our stay supportable. She is Dona Emilia and deserves a huge thankyou for trying to put right all that happened. Also we had the use of their kitchen to make tea or coffee which was very nice. They had double booked the room. The breakfast was very poor. There was no cheese from the Serra de Estrela, as advertised, (which my wife was looking forward to), just processed cheese slices!!, & a bit of thin cut bread, they could have made a better effort. There was only portuguese TV and reception was so bad that only one chanel was available. We were at least expecting satelite. My wife is English and doesn't want to see portuguese TV. Also there were no shelves anywhere to put cosmetics, shaving articles etc. All in all the negatives outwayed the positives.
