The location was superb - only 400 metres from the historic centre and I enjoyed the breakfast at the designated cafe .
The key to the apartment was difficult to use as it was an unusual shape.

We had a lovely comfortable room at the back so it was quiet at night. The location was unbelievable for quick access to all areas of Matera. The guest house is just inside the Matera ZTL so arriving by car and parking could have been problematic. However, as I'm a disabled driver, Francesco had pulled out all the stops to get me a parking pass. We were able to park 50 metres from the front door. Thanks Francesco - brilliant service!!!
I hadn't realised that breakfast wasn't provided on site, though there were facilities for making hot drinks. Breakfast was provided by a nearby cafe, which was fine.

Everything was fine. Clean and modern room. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Very close to the historic city center.
The entrance to that very ugly building. The old door and a very large and tall hall that gave you the impression that you were entering a deserted building.
