Large room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent value. Easy walk to both the seaside and town centre.
Linda and Sylvio were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful, even lent my husband a kilt buckle for the wedding we were attending! The room was very comfortable with nice finishing touches and the location was perfect. Should also mention the excellent breakfast.
cleaniliness of room, comfort of room, huge variety for breakfast, friendliness of staff, absolutely northing
Freindly staff and clean room, central location
The hosts were very welcoming. It was like staying in a friendly home. I shared my bed with a cuddly bear!
Location, cleanliness and tasty breakfast!
lovely big comfortable rooms with homely hospitality and excellent breakfast.
very clean and comfortable room. breakfast was awesome
our hosts and our great breakfast nothing
Nice clean room with friendly staff having breakfast bewtween 8:30 and 9:00 am on a Sunday is not great
The warm welcome on Day 1 and the personal attention that followed nothing
Owners most hospitable and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. Spacious room and delightfully quiet - we were at the back. Breakfast very nice. Question 1 reply to comfort ranges between good and excellent. It was a bit cold during the day before the central heating came on. When it did, it was very comfortable. Bed took a bit of sorting out as we did not realise at first that it was 2 singles put together, slightly different height! Fine otherwise. Two singles togethere is a comfortable idea.
This is a very basic hotel with no bar, lounge or restaurant, but it had a small dining room for breakfast. My room was clean and tidy, good-sized, with en-suite shower, TV, fridge and microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the town's amenites. A good value for money hotel, just don't expect any frills.
Helpful staff, clean room, excellent value for money No parking
Very central and close to rail station. Reception area was not very friendly. First impressions was not good at all, actually we though to cancel and to go to the SeaMill Hydro.
Not much, I'm afraid. Easy parking, The room was clean and contained a fridge and microwave which might be useful but we didn't use it. No proper reception. Nowhere to get a drink arriving at seven o'clock in the evening.
no recepion when we arrived had o phonesomeone to get into our room
Fridge and microwave were good. Beds were quite comfy. Good tv and lots of videos to choose from. The very cheapest of cheapest of food was used for the breakfast. The cornflake container had Kellogs crunchy nut on the side. They were not Kellogs. Some cheap cornflakes that were awful. The sash window in our room was propped open with a video cassette. The over mirror light in the bathroom was not working. The toilet had no lid to it. The towels were dreadful. Threadbare and small. I have used better as a floor cloth. The electrics were scary: lots of extension leads. We arrived on Sunday and we were given the wrong code to get in. Cost us 2 phone calls. No teaspoons to make a drink with. Had to use our own and then on the last night these were taken away and replaced. I had to speak to someone about taking the spoons in case we were accused of theft.
we stayed in the family room, which was very well equipt and would highly recommend this b&b to a friend.
Having a fridge in the room for nice cold drinks and keeping fresh milk etc. and the free video library, unusual and very handy for the rainy west coast of Scotland. No bath, but I can live without it for the odd night.
the room was clean and big. It was a great price. no bar and the breakfast was very average
Clean and comfortable Heating in room inadequate - had to request a small heater. No hot water in bathroom washbasin tap
Convenient when coming from the airport late at night Breakfast not included in the price and expensive
Friendly and good service. Location was excellent overlooking the old course. Could do with a bigger shower and shower room.
Good view over the old golf course with Prestwick airport on the other side (no airplane noise however). Near railway station, Prestwick high street and just a couple of mins from the seafront. Very good rates over the Internet. Old style hotel probably very posh in its day, with very friendly Kenyan staff. Indian restaurant on site, but we didn't use it. Good breakfast from 7.45 - 9.00
Food was good Shower in need of replacement
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, and the view from the bedroom window at the front of the hotel was great. The only comment we would make is that the mattress in the room we had 22.8.10 was rather thin.
it was clean and tidy served a purpose and was near the airport where we were flying to sweeden
In the room there was only 1 cup and saucer for a double room.
