9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Easy breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The lady of the house who I think was named Sabrina was really lovely and welcoming and ensured this weary traveller was comfortable during my stay. The room I stayed in was effectively a 2 up 2 down holiday let and really well presented. There are no restaurants in the village so it is recommended that you dine before you arrive. Good luck with this new business venture Sabrina. Thank you for your warm hospitality. ...Adam

9.6 Excellent
Pros: What we wanted and was very nice
Cons: The wine cost let it dowm
5.8 Okay
Pros: Lovely location. Very good quality room and bathroom.
Cons: Apparently I should have checked the email (received AFTER booking), to tell us that both the restaurant and bar were closed on the night we arrived. I was very disappointed as this was the main reason I had booked this particular hotel. The response was a shrug of the shoulders telling me it was my fault I hadn't checked. The restaurant we were directed to, was closed on arrival! We ate in a fast food chain shop in a town 15 minutes away! In the morning we couldn't even get inside the main building to sit for a coffee. Really is there any point in offering all those facilities if we couldn't use them? Reception service - French attitude!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff very good
Cons: Swimming pool in the restaurant Restaurant service the slowest we have ever encountered
6.3 Good
Pros: Great big rooms, lovely grounds and very clean.
Cons: The staff left so we were pretty much alone all night. We were in the old stables so not in the main house and so access to facilities. The bar wasn’t open so we had to drive to get food and a drink. One room had an outdated bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent. Breakfast was superb, lovely surroundings in the breakfast room. Excellent selection of food. Staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful hotel and it surroundings.
Cons: Everything was to perfection. You could not fault this establishment.

Pros: Great place to stay. The young dark haired young woman that seemed to run the place was very good.
Cons: Nothing really. Maybe more of a basic evening menu as an option. Because I found the food very rich.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners have renovated this Chateau and done an excellent job. The furnishings and rooms are first class and have a very comfortable homely feel. There is a separate lounge for guests as well as a small library. The setting is excellent with lovely views and it’s so peaceful. The housekeeper really looked after us. Lovely breakfast and seating outside for drinking your wine on a warm evening if you remember to bring a bottle or two.
Cons: As this is classed as a Guest House (very upmarket) there is no restaurant. The local town is only a 10 mins drive with lots of places to eat but it needs planning as a lot of them were closed as it was September so best to check ahead.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Not much
Cons: The pictures did not fully represent this hotel, if you’re after french... think kitch Vietnamese trinkets everywhere. It is bizarre to say the least and made faulty towers look like the plaza. It’s not suitable for families and particularly not for babies. Our room was grotty and heavy on the dust, also, mind your head on the beams if you’re staying in the attic. To be honest I don’t even know where to start on the exercise room which was a loan bike amongst a dusty, random room of junk. Breakfast was awful! I could not drink my coffee. My children would not even eat the croissants, which were old and chewy. The microwaved hot chocolate which was made whilst we sat at the kitchen table and listened to the bell ping and was still cold when served, was the nail in the coffin. It wins some points for location and Alain was welcoming but I am not sure hospitality is his thing. On the whole, I would have preferred to sleep in the car. Unfortunately I was still breastfeeding a baby and this wasn’t a suitable solution. It’s also worth mention the closest restaurant is about 15-20min drive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful location in quiet village. Comfortable room, good breakfast provided by friendly, helpful host, who speaks excellent English.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The actual location was very nice and peaceful and the owner made us feel welcome.
Cons: There was no where to get anything to eat or drink without taking a 12km taxi ride. Surprisingly the owner did not have any information about taxis and we had to find one ourselves on the internet. Not suitable for cyclists.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice relaxing place to stay the night and not too far from Paris. The host Alain was very helpful in finding us somewhere to eat that evening when many local options were closed. Self catering facilities.
Cons: We went in the middle of August on a Friday evening and were on a long distance cycle trip. This is not a criticism of the venue, but lots of things in France are closed in August - including local restaurants. It was a bit of a slog to cycle another 6km each way to get some dinner that evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful house and very friendly host. Very comfortable bed too.
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The town was so beautiful and quaint. The hosts were kind and very patient with our questions and weird requests. Ideal setting and peaceful location.
Cons: I wish there had been a shower but it was clearly understood that only a bath was there for us.
7.5 Good
Pros: Cosy place
Cons: Room was very cold (end november) The walls to the room did not reach the ceiling which means noise from the passage and privacy is noot so good unless you have the whole floor for yourselves Bathroom was also very cold and only a bathtub with low ceiling so you need to sit in the tub to shower.
