Pros: A lovely place to stay.
Cons: All was great!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: very warm welcome. Nicely furnished room with everything that I needed.
Cons: Unfortunately an assumption was made that I wanted breakfast at 9am. In fact I wanted it as early as possible (8am was advertised) in order to make the most of limited daylight at this time of year. I ended up having to phone the owner and I only had the continental breakfast option as I wanted to get away as quickly as possible.

Pros: We had a 2 bedroom room which was very spacious with good beds. Pub down stairs for a good feed or drink. Central location for us as we were following the WRC Rally. Staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Cons: No elevator - this wasn’t a problem for us more a heads up that you will need to lug suitcases up stairs.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Lady that served breakfast was lovely and a breath of fresh air
Cons: The pub was shut and unwelcoming, the towels were very hard and old, the land lady was brusque, we had a curfew too!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I found this out-of-the-way gem when seeking a night's accommodation after a family meetup in nearby Garthmyl. A neat and non pretentious hotel/pub serving good beer and a good range of quality food. My room was comfortable and warm - a hearty contrast to the bleak outside weather of that day. Staff very attentive and helpful with good advice as to local points of interest. I plan to stay at The Railway again in the spring and use it as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing setting, we very much enjoyed our stay. The hall is decorated to a very high standard. Brilliant place will be back,
Cons: Nothing at all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our 3 nights of glamping at Eithinog Hall in early August (despite the Yellow Weather Warning)! Jane and Mark are outstanding hosts who go the extra mile - yet give you complete privacy at the same time. There is nothing we could have wished for that wasn’t supplied. The tent is very spacious (we are a family of 5) and the log burner kept us warm and cosy. Basics such as oil, vinegar, salt and pepper are provided, as well as, ground coffee, plunger, milk etc. We had our fridge stocked with a generous complimentary breakfast of farm fresh eggs, bacon, artisan bread, butter and coffee cake upon arrival so that our first breakfast was taken care of! Thoroughly spoiled! Our children (12,11 & 6) loved playing on the swing and we played board games (provided) while listening to the rain. There is a radio provided too. There is a stream below the campsite to play in safely ...and otters nearby if you are lucky enough to spot them. There is a steam train that offers scenic rides between nearby villages - it puffs past the campsite in the distance every now and then (very charming). Large Tesco 10mins away that stocks everything you might need. Lovely walk on a country lane to the nearby village which has a few pubs and a quaint antique shop. We had a fabulous and very affordable lunch and breakfast at Checkers Pantry in Montgomery (gourmet and unpretentious food done simply and well priced) - highly recommend (only really decent artisan coffee we found in the area). Kitchen is fabulous and had all that we could have possibly needed! Shower is strong enough to wash long thick hair!
Cons: The campsite is a few hundred meters from an A road and there is some traffic noise but it certainly DID NOT detract from the amazing experience for us! We appreciated the complete privacy and the occasional road noise was a small price to pay in return for the privacy (no other fellow glampers sharing the space).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor is amazing and immediately makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The hosts were extremely friendly and the breakfast is superb! For business purposes it is a bit off the beaten track, but restaurants are nearby and internet / wifi is stable.
Cons: The absence of a desk in the room to work at, which is only important if you are travelling for work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is stunning both inside and outside. Mark and Jane are wonderful hosts and made our stay really enjoyable. The attention to detail throughout is amazing.
Cons: Having to leave!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was of a standard I've never witnessed before. Truly exceptional. All home made including the artisan bread. The whole stay was absolutely brilliant. Location was peaceful and relaxing. Mine hosts were up there with the very best. Bathroom facilities were stunning.
Cons: Most difficult question to answer . If I have to find something, I suppose sharing your breakfast table with fellow guests who you don't know . Such a small issue not really worth mentioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a treat to stay somewhere that comfort and design were so well thought of. I didn't want to leave the room and bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. Area was very tranquil. Lots of sights to see and nice walks a short drive away.
Cons: It was hard to get used to no locks on doors and windows but obviously its a safe place and not required. A lock on bedroom door would have been good though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully presented B&B, hosts were friendly and welcoming. The room was stylish and comfortable, I had a lovely restful sleep.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nicely renovated, large rooms & comfy bed! Lovely breakfast. Jane, Mark & Laura great hosts

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast excellent. Lovely comfortable bed and pillows, nice and warm room. Staff could not do enough for you. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: The tap in the bathroom kept shooting water out and wetting you, the pressure needed reducing. Thought there would be more toiletries for two people and only one packet of biscuits for two, so I lost out to my husband.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely wonderful hospitality, a little gem in the Welsh countryside. Attention to detail in the room, beds were so warm and cosy, delicious tea to drink and lovely hot water in the bathroom, not always available in the UK. Bob and Rachel helped us out with local information and were wonderful hosts. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay. Hearty home cooked meal was delicious.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, good parking, well placed for exploring mid-Wales. Good choice of menu for cooked breakfast, home-baked bread was very nice. Also do meals all day. Evening meals were tasty, many home-cooked and not long to wait. Good to have control of heating in the room and a suitably light-weight duvet to go with the warm room (plus blanket if needed). We usually take our own to hotels as the duvets are too thick but we didn't need them here. 2 chairs in a double room - very nice and quite a rarity in our experience!
Cons: TV was a bit small for watching from the bed. The tap in the sink wasn't easy to use without splashing but we mentioned this and were told this room and one other will be changed to match the other upgrades in the rooms soon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfasts and great dining experience.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, hotel full of character. Good food.
Cons: Felt a bit uncomfortable with the young girl (maybe 7 or 8?) serving us food.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What's not to like about this gem! Quirky flooring as you would expect in a property of it's age. Great food, felt spoilt as a table had been reserved for me; easy car parking, right in the centre of town, perfect breakfast and loved the conversation from my host.

Pros: Jayne really is the hostess with the mostess.Since every detail is taken into account. Wonderful comfortable bed .Superior cotton sheets and bedding. Scrumptious breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. Jayne even helped me de ice my car in the morning before leaving.A lovely atmosphere within.Wish I could have stayed longer. I shall return for sure .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've never left a review on this site before, despite travelling quite extensively for work purposes. However, this B&B exceeded my expectations and deserves a glowing report. The owner Jayne dropped me a text message earlier in the day to check on time of arrival and kept in contact until my arrival. The accommodation is lovely, homely and absolutely spotless. Jayne and her husband are charming and it turns out I'm in the same line as business as her father and brother. Jayne made breakfast in the morning which was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, there is even a shared lounge (the property only has 2 bedrooms) with TV and DVDs with a wee drop of sherry (I think) if you so desire. If you are ever in this neck of the woods, then you won't find anywhere better to stay. Thoroughly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The friendly welcome and a real sense of being looked after. The room was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and had every facility I could think of. Little touches like the home made cakes, fresh flowers and ready laid out kindling and logs for the woodburner were so thoughtful too. The location was perfect for exploring a wide range of interesting places and Jackie's suggestions for things to see and do catered for every taste. I can't wait to stay there again!
