Beautiful renovated medieval building. Excellent location on the waterfront. Excellent breakfast, especially the fresh fruit. Some minor weak points: irritating generic classical muzak in the restaurant. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room and no room service before 8am.
THe facility needed some updating. It was near the town center - great in the day, but a booming concert at night made the walls shake and sleep difficult.
Attentive staff, large comfortable room, interesting local based menu. An excellent touring area; would definitely return.
we really liked the location,so easy to town, restaurants, board walk and bus station.the parador is very nice and warm and not too austere like some we have visited. when i asked one desk employee for a dinner recommendation ,she snipped "the parador" and then when i politely responded that we would like to walk and dine outside the hotel she sort of rattled off a few places but very quickly and with disinterest as if they were all the same and not worth her time.Made the parador seem desperate for business and was a very stuffy attitude to display to a guest.Another younger girl was quite helpful earlier in telling us interesting port towns close by that we could visit. So I would chalk the dinner incident up to the individual and not the general attitude of the other employees.
The buffet breakfast which was included with the room rate. Also, the terrace with water fountain where there was beverage service was most pleasant. The rooms were large. The carpeting in the hallway and stairway needs to be cleaned or replaced.
The hotel is only a short walk to the city center. It has beautiful gardens and ample parking. The staff are helpful. It is a beautiful hotel but the plumbing was very noisy and there was a lot of noise emanating from the corridor. The opening and closing of doors made a lot of noise..
Once again a lovely stay in a great hotel.
The quality-price ratio is excellent. Excellent environment, rooms and food
Very nice hotel in attractive building and grounds. Out of the centre of town, but can walk in along estuary. Excellent room. Very good value.
Lovely hotel with an excellent covered swimming pool. Rooms were beautiful
It's a confortable and clean hotel, with a familiar style.
A great traditional family hotel with a very good restaurant Although Cambados is a lovely village the immediate area of the hotel is a little run down, but this does not really detract from the place.
The ambiance, peace and treatment of the staff. Everything was great.
nice bright rooms in pleasant and extensive grounds. an easy 10 minute (max) walk into Cambados for bars, restaurants etc. relaxed and friendly
Location ambiance No description of facilities or hours of availability in rooms. In fact no information at all provided in rooms.
Very friendly staff, English speaky was not good, but they compensate this with better speaking German. Situated immediatly on the beach, 5 minutes walk of a lovely small town. Located on a noisy road.
Excellent location close to Combarro (though not as shown on google plan) and convenient for the AP9 motoway wifi (advertised and one main reason to select the hotel) was unstable and unusable.
Although it is in a run down part of town this hotel was good value and we were happy with our stay there.
Good location within the area of Cambados, very heplful staff, clean room. Breakfast we were served was somewhat cheap. Terrible coffee and sweet junk food only.
Charming hotel, helpful staff, great shower. Insufficient lighting. Can't read in bed.
The room was very comfortable and some of the staff friendly. Breakfasts were disappointing. Coffee was disgusting and we were served packaged cakes most days. Also the shower in our bathroom didn't work and most days there was virtually no hot water.
Good location, simple but clean. very noisy.
not a lot... 3 hotels in fact grouped within the name marina...not fair as the other we stay is not very good
