Very quiet hotel with wonderful location, thermal baths and good breakfast. There was no fridge or minibar in the room.
Breakfast We stayed next to dogs that barked for hours while the owners were out.Staff said there was nothing they could do.They said it wasn't there fault!I have a responsibility to pay the bill and they have a responsibility to give a relaxing atmosphere. They didn't keep their end of the bargain and offered no reduction as a way of saying sorry.I left a comment card and send an e-mail but no response!!
The place, the spa facilities, the view, the spacious room, the food, the reception, the proximity to the Baderhaus On the whole all was good
Very relaxed feel to the hotel, open almost 24 hours, easy to come in and out, the staff were always there and very helpful, the location is central to everywhere but quiet Free internet access would be ideal
Magnificent location with gardens and riverside walks with vinyards above. Excellent hot and cold breakfast buffet. Exceptionally quick check-in and efficient reception. Poorly equipped bedroom: mean thin towels, no robes, no mini-bar or refridgerator, tiny uncomfortable pillows.
Comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. No
Classical hotel nicely located in a park with free access to thermal pool. In addition, there's a bathing house with sauna's next to the hotel. Breakfast is excellent and paid parking is in front of the hotel. Since I did not like the single room they gave me, I received a free upgrade to a double room. The hotel is not very new and that includes the rooms - has it's charm though. Wifi should be free in my opinion.
Spa facilities, restaurant, location.
Good location, surrounded with river and the park which is nice for the kids to run around but wish there is a play ground in the park. nice walking path up to the vineyard. walking distance to the centre. Good buffet breakfast, free access to adjacent thermal bath. in hotel spa centre, clean and quiet room. There wasn't an outdoor/indoor play ground area for the kids. No free internet access.
The free internet and breakfast was a nice perk. The hotel restraunt needs to have menus in english. Prices for food were a little spendy and seemed to fluctuate from one day to the next.
Everything Stairs not suitable for our Dog, Slippery marble . Not the Hotels Fault
The people and the food!
Very good breakfast. Nice Staff. Room 30, takes every foodsmell from the kitchen inside, which is horrible when they make goulash. After our complaint, without any hesitation, we could switch to another room which was very good!
It's spargel season in Germany and the restaurant had a full page of spargel dishes on offer. The food was quite good! The hotel room was spacious and clean. The hotel served my need.
The entrance and reception are very nice. You expect much more good things after that. Rooms and balcony needs renovation. It's a wunderful place but the interior is hopelessly outdated. Restaurant is very, very simple. Service is o.k. but not more than that. They need absolutely guidance from someone experienced.
Nice ambience, golf club just at the hotel, very relaxing swiming pool and sauna facilities
Very good Spa & Wellness and good kitchen.
Set amidst lovely, peaceful, lush green countryside, ideal for those of us who live rurally and are used to open spaces, peace & quiet. A lovely, welcoming place with very friendly and patient staff - particularly with my faltering German! Clean & comfortable rooms plus good food & beer, we hope to stay here again on our next trip to the local 'weinguter'
The food and dinners and of course the price. There was a lovely atmosphere in the dining room at night and the meals were superb. The grandmother was very caring and attentive. A lovely place. No curtains on the bedroom windows only see through nets. This was a pity and would not cost much to have
Personal approach and attention was perfect but not too familiar; good balance!
The quiet location, food and generous breakfast selections. Hosts were excellant and very responsive to requests.
It was quite a convenient place to stop off on route from Italy to Belgium. Run down and a little shabby, no mention of the large hospital across the street from which there was considerable early morning noise. No other guests in the hotel.
Excellent site and good value for money.
Staff was friendly. The room was clean. outdated style, and the stairway smelled of smoke.
Pleasant, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Good location for visiting surrounding area. Good off-road car park nearby. Renovations seem to have been going on for some time.
The management was very friendly and helpful
Excellent food. Friendly hostess. Parking very nearby.
we felt that the hotel personal really cared about us
really friendly english speaking owner, allowed secure off road parking for motorcycle, lift, breakfast very good lots of choice, situated in a pleasent small spa town
The friendliness of the owners, the cleanliness of the room mnd the general atmosphere
I recommend this small Hotel. The view to the Castle is very nice. Nearby Bad Kreuznach is great for shopping.I'll stay at the Hotel again.
Really pleasant and helpful reception. Room comfortable but a little spartan but then again it is not an expensive hotel
A terrific, lovely small hotel. Our room had a bright, airy feeling, with a magnificent view of the castle which is on top of an adjoining hill - it certainly fit the name "BurgBlick". The beds were comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. All of the staff was very cheerful and helpful. As a bonus, their restaurant is very good, with a diversified menu, tasty food, friendly servers and reasonable prices. We consider this hotel to be an excellent value.
Nice and quiet environment. We got a recentely refurnished room with a very strong odor for the new floor. We had a very bad night. Next day we cheanged to other room, bot it was much older and in need of a reform. The hotel closes very soon (23:30). Services are quite limited. The common areas need more ventilation.
Good food,;friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location; very nice facilites. C
The view! A great view in the nearby (wine-production) mountains! The room was quite big, but a bit kitsch decoration! No extra cost for our big dog! Internet access, too expensive! No signal to the cell phones except Vodafone network! The staff is not enough! The day I went to ask information about the swimming pool and sauna that the hotel claims to have, I had to wait for someone more than 15 minutes. Sauna and swimming pool not available all the time, in a way that if someone is already using them, you have to wait for them (in my case 1,5 hours)! I decided not to use the facilities because the waiting hour was too long for me, therefore I have no idea how sauna and swimming pools looks like!
The staff were particularly friendly and the hotel is in a very beautiful location.
Magnificent view from the rooms and restaurant terrace. Nicely decorated room. Conveniently close to the Moschellandburg ruin (hiking trail). Soft pillows
One of the best hotels we've stayed at, anywhere, anytime. Superb room and location, and the most helpful staff one could imagine. Not a dislike, just a caution: Wifi is not "free throughout the hotel" as booking stated. In the annex, you'd have to use a paid-for card. However, this was made very clear at check-in, we were encouraged to use the free wifi in the restaurant area at any time, and were even given a partially used card to use in the annex.
Location was great, quiet and secluded. Hotel staff do it all, rooms, bar and restaurant. Very friendly and service was great. I ma recommending the hotel to all my friends Should have more tables and chairs outside for guest.
Friendly and very helpful owners. Excellent location with a beautiful panorama (from the guesthouse rooms). Large and modern rooms. Good restaurant facilities. Breakfast delivered at the table. The hotel has free internet in the restaurant area but not in the guesthouse (for which you can buy time through an external provider). We were lucky that the owner was around when we arrived on Monday around 14:00 local time. Beware however that the hotel has a Monday "resting day" and that this means that one could have to wait untill 18:00 to get access to the room(s).
We had room 24 and a very nice view over the wine area's. All was okay None.
good large room
A very quiet, peaceful hotel in a small village with views over open countryside. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
I knew the town more than 50 years ago and that's why I stopped there on my way to Sweden!! It's for geriatric seniors,;which I am most decidedly not
location, good friendly hotel
Silence place, breakfast ok. Beautiful small village
The room was a good size and very clean, with very good bathroom facilities. Room was too cold at night, and inadequate bedding was provided.
Personnel, location - beautiful!
The room was very clean, in the center of town, with a small sitting area and a television with CNN.
friendly staff very noisy street with a high level of auto traffic late into the night which made sleeping difficult. With no AC, as with most hotels in this area, windows need to be open to get cool air into the room.
location in the town centre, at the start of the pedestrian area. Good for seeing the town without moving the car. quite hard to find due to its situation, difficult to park until the hotel provided the parking pass for the underground place.
The hotel is situated next to a river and a park area. We found it to be enjoyable to stroll along the river after having dinner. The atmosphere was quite and serene. The website gave the illusion that the pool was at the hotel.
Very slow wireless Internet connection. Cable connection not available.
Great location, free parking, great breakfast, small pool and sun area. It would have been great to have a safe and a mini refrig in room.
Comfortable and quite, enjoyed our stay. The leisure area was small, but there were few other patrons so we really enjoyed it.
stuff attitude rugs oldnes
proximity to Baderhaus and Naha River No place to eat locally after midnight
The staff were helpful, keeping the restaurant open late when we were tired and hungry at the end of a long day. The "Wellness Centre" is small but adequate, and the location is fairly quiet and just across the road from the river. There were a couple of niggles: the plug in the bathroom basin did not seal properly, and the bathroom itself was very dark, with dark brown tiles and only one light, above the basin mirror.
