Location was the reason for booking and it was good. We had a car free on site parking and a five minute drive to Beale street where parking is easily available for 5 dollars/24 hours. And of course very economical
Close to the airport and McDonald’s
No bar to hang up clothes in the closet.
Cleaning can step it up a bit. Just because I asked for a smoking room doesn’t mean I want it to smell like old stale cigarettes. The bathroom walls and door were filthy. Yuck!
The property and room was FILTHY. In all of my travels, I have never been so scared and uncomfortable to stay in a room. The sheets and blankets were all stained, the floors haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. The toilet seat was filthy and stained. They left us soap that was in a package ALREADY opened. In order to open the door, you have to push it open with your body. If you wanted to lock the room with the deadbolt, we had to lean against the door in order to seal it properly. Not to mention, the fridge in our room still had drinks and food in it from the past tenants. The photos supplied when I booked the room look NOTHING as they do in person.
I was given a dirty room when i checked in. The bed had been slept in and there was urine and cigarette butts in the toilet. The lady who originally checked me in was very friendly but when i went back to the front desk to be moved to a clean room the woman down there “didn’t know how to work the system” so i had to wait for someone else to get there to do it. It wouldn’t have been a big deal had i been taken seriously at all or given an apology considering i spent $85 for a disgusting room. The one i was swapped to also wasn’t clean but it was better than staying in a room with dirty sheets and urine and ashes in the toilet.
