Pros: Excellent choice!! Everthing was superb!!!!
Pros: Located on the side of a valley with stunning views this 15th century stone farmhouse is worth a visit. We had a large room with views across the valley to the snow capped mountains beyond. Elisabeth did everything she could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The nearest town is ten minutes away by car, but once there the choice of restaurants is excellent. The thing that strikes you most when you arrive is the peace and tranquility. It was perfect after a long day in the car. Breakfast was excellent - fresh croissants with home made jams being the highlight. We would love to return and stay longer.
Pros: Person in charge very friendly. Big room, with great mountain view. Great hikes in the neighbourhood. Very tasty breakfast. Restaurants in Barcelonette are 15 minutes driving away, with a lot of choice.
Cons: Temperature control in room a bit complicated. Bathroom set-up could be improved. But nothing material.
Pros: Very friendly host with lots of ideas of things to do in the area. Good views, beds are very comfortable with nice pillows.
Pros: The decor and charming host. The mountain views.
Cons: Being greeted by uncontrolled snapping dog.

Pros: good location nice pool and hot tub
Pros: The stunning mountain views Very pleasant and very helpful staff. Outside terrace
Cons: Comfortable but very basic room which to its credit was good value and will not put me off returning
Pros: Without a doubt this hotel exceeded all of my expectations and I cannot recommend it enough. I booked the hotel for three nights as part of a motorcycle tour with four friends and I cannot fault it. The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more hlepful and the food was superb. It isn't a small hotel but it is family run and the owner and his wife both made time to talk to us. The hotel is located in the Alps and there are superb runs for motorcyclists close at hand.
Cons: I can think of nothing that I didn't like.
Pros: The barman was nice and the location is beautiful which were its redeeming features.
Cons: This hotel is very dated, the rooms are basic without any fans or air con. It was very hot and there are mosquitos so the only option was to open the windows and get bitten. Breakfast was 10 euros a head for a basic continental. We only had it once as we didn't feel it was value for money. The hotel is over priced for what it is, they need to update the decor in the rooms. Our room wasn't serviced properly or towels replaced on one of the days. The last thing I remember on check out was the owner insisting I needed to pay an additional 302 euros for the room even though I had already paid online, he refused to accept even though I had showed him my booking on booking.com and my bank statement. Eventually he backed down after checking the terms and conditions he shares with the booking website. It was all very embarrassing and not a customer focused attitude. We left feeling like we had had a bad time. This place could be great with a little more customer care and a refurb!
Pros: Wonderful staff- run by a very nice couple who also runs the kitchen Amazing food Good location Very comfortable
Pros: Staff were kind and accommodating, great food and facilities. Would highly recommend and most certainly return!

Pros: Nice quiet lake near, very relaxing
Cons: Smell of a restaurant in room
Pros: Good location, outside eating area was spacious and pleasant
Cons: Breakfast was basic and minimal
Pros: The food in the restaurant was so good in taste and value for money that we took a deviation to our tour route the next day to go back for lunch. A typical French family run feel to the hotel and restaurant
Cons: Rear of hotel room had concrete wall view, but more of an issue noise from the kitchen cooling equipment (or fans of some sort) When staying again would choose front of hotel room.
Cons: No toillets in room. Not clean. No air conditioning.
Cons: No view from the windows
Cons: Better to sleep in the car
Pros: The food was excellent
Pros: I loved this place, it's so close by the lake, the staff was friendly and helpful. It was so amazing to have coffee and croissants in the morning, we also had a nice walk in the mountains.
Pros: Nice, small and tidy room. Affordable.
Cons: Got the most unfriendly welcome ever by a grumpy old man at the reception desk. Almost hostile. I even tried to adhere to french politeness standards. Made me very uneasy during my stay. Shower jumped from freezing cold to boiling hot within seconds. Loud piping and very thin walls. I could hear the TV in the room next door, among other things... bed was too short for me as well at 1.88m so I slept diagonal. Would not recommend!
Pros: This hotel was a good stopping place set in the mountains so had a beautiful views from the bedroom windows. The was small and tired looking but very clean, comfy bed, toilet and small shower room. The rustic looking dining room was nice. Food excellent. Staff nice.
Cons: Nothing really but you have to accept it’s an older type place but worth going to.
