Pros: Nice room. Exceptionally clean and up to date. Quiet area and very helpful staff. Parking available right at hotel.
Cons: The hotel itself is great but located in a commercial, light industrial area, thus the great price. It’s quite a ways out of town. We were only passing through so a good choice for us but if you’re there to visit the city, you’d likely want to be closer. Some shopping and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away.
Pros: The room we had was large, clean and very up-to-date. The bathroom shower was great. The bed was very comfortable. And the room was very quiet. We chose to stay in Lescar as a base for visiting Pau (12-15 minutes away) and the nearby Pyrenees, so it worked out great for us. The hotel is located in a commercial area not within walking distance of much interesting. So you need a car.
Pros: Excellent rooms, super clean! Staff very helpfull. SPA is a plus.
Cons: Breakfast choice could be better...
Pros: Great bed - very quiet Breakfast very goog
Pros: Clean, modern decor. Friendly staff.
Cons: Location is better suited to someone traveling for business, not being a tourist.
Pros: Lescar centre town. Proximity to Pau. Some interesting non-tourist restaurants.
Pros: Every thing. One of the best hotels of this kind.
Pros: Clean, location, could park my van, staff were friendly.... food was great..
Pros: Wonderful all especially the staff.

Pros: The hotel was well placed in the centre of town, had an excellent restaurant, a patron who took an interest in his guests and took pleasure in explaining what he was offering them to eat and drink.
Cons: Nothing to note
Pros: Very warm welcome, lovely room, fabulous food, great wine list, charming hosts, excellent value, super location. We only stayed one night and would highly recommend for a longer stay. The area is lovely and the Maison d'Antan is superb.

Pros: The location was excellent and the owner was very hospitable and the meal was good The general ambiance was nice
Cons: It was the most expensive property I have stayed in over the 5 weeks I have been walking It was very nice but other comparable properties were considerably less it is over priced It was also very hot and there were no fans in the room that were nice and I had a lovely big balcony but as this is a top end property I would have expected these to be supplied
Pros: Location and amenities. Great Camino stop.
Pros: Beautiful historic hotel, kind and helpful staff, clean and charming room and amazing food.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Pros: Beautiful breakfast and garden
Cons: noisy, not possible to open the window, bad smell in the room
Pros: Visited for the first time last year and met the owners and hosts and found them to be very friendly and attentive. The hostess was not present on the evening of our visit this year and her husband was busy cooking the meals so we had little contact that night. The new staff in attendance were efficient but most of the charm was missing.
Cons: The ambiance of this charming hotel has been lost and unfortunately we won’t be back again.
Pros: We had a refurbished room and it was wonderful. It was on the top floor and despite being beside a main road there was no noise. The food was great from a fixed menu with plenty of great wine. All the staff were very friendly and spoke very good English
Cons: We found the new bed hard

Cons: The hotel was in a boring area.

Located in Lescar, B&B Hotel PAU LESCAR is within a 10-minute drive of Pau-Artiguelouve Golf Club and Lescar Cathedral. Featured amenities include an elevator (lift) and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: Just a shame there wasnt a kettle and tea or coffee. But thats just a little thing.
Pros: As anticipated for the price, very adequate but fairly basic. Staff friendly and the hotel's location was less than 15 mins from my appointment. Downside was a lack of restaurant facilities, particularly on a Monday when French restaurants are traditionally closed. I had to make do with a Kentucky Friend, by no means my favourite!! Ideal for a couple of nights.
Cons: Lack of convenient eating facilities close to hand. The hotel did, however, provide a more than adequate breakfast facility at a very reasonable price.
Pros: Location, building
Cons: The WiFi was was terrible
Pros: The modern clean room. Comfy bed and pillows. Very quiet. Great value breakfast.
Pros: Very clean. Great breakfast options.
Cons: Would have liked some spare pillows in the room. One pillow each was too low for comfortable sleeping. Having said that, we didn’t ask for more, so maybe we could have had a more comfortable sleep if we had.
Pros: Convenient location; clean and comfortable and a very good breakfast
Pros: It was a very good basic hotel The breakfast was excellent
Cons: A bit difficult to find

Pros: Very easy to check in late and really comfy bed. Lovely shower in the morning. Big room with tv and wardrobe.
Cons: Quite expensive but clean and very comfortable. Warm and had lots of extra bedding. Breakfast was steep at 9 euros and unfortunately they had run out of fresh croissants.
Pros: The only reason to stay in this hotel is location. If you have a super early flight from Pau and you want to stay next to the airport. while is walking distance from the airport, if you have luggage you need a car or a taxi. there's usually no-one at the reception so you need to book the taxi in advance.
Cons: hotel is clean, but everything about it is quite basic.
Pros: Friendly staff. Ideally located 5' walk from Pau Airport.
Cons: Dark room with no windows. Quite expensive for tiny room.
Pros: Location staff comfort
Cons: No clock no fan
Pros: Clean and Nice
Pros: Complete new or renovated buildings combining classic elements like high ceilings and wooden stairs with modern technology and decorstion, everything done with a sure feel for good taste. Prices are very fair for the style and comfort offered. Also, grest location clise to popular areas. I can only recommend.
Cons: No complaints whatsoever.
Pros: If needing a place to stay close to the Pau airport, this is it. I had a 6am flight and being so close was convenient. Also, check in was easy, the room clean, and we could eat dinner on site. It is a basic facility but certainly met our needs.
Pros: Very close to the Pau airport
Pros: The evening meal - the pate and the pork medallions - were excellent, simple, honest fare. This hotel is a real gem. The reception and restaurant staff were friendly, also spoke Italian, and helpful. They gave me a tray breakfast for a 5.15am start. Walking distance to the airport terminal (12min - even with 29Kg luggage. Spotless.
Cons: Some way of getting the luggage onto a cart rather than dragging them down the street would be helpful. TV station choices limited for English speakers. Could not connect WiFi but may have had the Passwords the wrong way round
Pros: Good location near the airport. Very convenient.
Cons: Breakfast should be included in the price

Pros: Dog friendly.
Cons: I requested a ground floor room months ago when I booked because we have two dogs. On arrival in the early evening we were allocated a room on the first floor, I pointed out that I had requested a ground floor room but was told that there was a lift. When we reached the room it had not been cleaned. Receptionist was very apologetic and gave us a clean ground floor room! Which was what we had asked for in the first place.
Pros: Very clean modern and stylish
Cons: Restaurant was closed

Cons: Nothing that we didn’t like.
Pros: Easy location with shops and restaurants nearby. Free parking with secure gate. Friendly staff who spoke English. Dog friendly
Cons: Pillows were awful - need more next visit. Small shower and bathroom, but manageable for 1 night. Bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. No hand towel.
Cons: I would like to have known that the restaurant was closed in weekends
Cons: If you are from overseas and travelling without a French credit card the facilities are not available between 11 and 4 pm. This makes it awkward.
Cons: The automatic check-in did not work.
Pros: Secure Parking & Breakfast
Cons: The room was dated, cold, reception was meant to be staffed at the time we arrived but was closed, had trouble using the self check-in and when that didn't work and two calls later the person I was speaking to on the phone opened the reception door I was standing at and sorted the problem out, as we were driving to southern Spain wanted to leave early so was happy to be told breakfast was from 7:00 only to find staff didn't arrive till 7:35, if I hadn't paid for breakfast wouldn't have waited.
Pros: Cheap and secure

Pros: The family were lovely and the breakfast was very good :)

Pros: overall comfort was good the beds were good sized and warm. Good buffet breakfast.
Cons: shower was low in pressure.

Pros: Good value for money basic and functional
Cons: No air conditioning
Pros: The staff were very good. It was a quite hotel. The breakfast was excellent. No problem parking. Found a be ry Good Bistro if you turn left out of the hotel, and it is a little way along of the left. They do a help yourself buffet. The food was delicious and not expensive.
Cons: We were in room 7 and the floor was in need of repair as the wood was lifting, make it a trip hazard. Looked as if they had had a water leak.
Pros: Staff is nice.
Cons: We didn't have breakfast so can't really comment on that. It could be a bit cheaper given how the hotel was worn down. Very old room and bathroom.
With a stay at Hôtel ECO Relais Pau-Lons in Lons, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Château de Pau National Museum and Piscine Aqualons. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was ok but it was obvious we were the only 2 having it . Room was ok but very hot. Also since we last stayed there the hotel/rooms/surroundings have gone downhill pretty quickly.
Cons: Piles of old clothes & rubbish at hotel entrance--we nearly just drove to next place !!! Lots of strange people hanging around--very uncomfortable. Surrounding areas--shops/cafes all closed & boarded up !!!-----if it wasnt for the supermarket the whole area would be classed as a disaster area.
Pros: Low price
Cons: No toilet paper No shower gel Breakfast : an all-you-can-eat buffet Wish croissants limited to 1 per person :(
Pros: This hotel was a bargain price, hence the room was tiny and the bathroom even smaller. Fortunately the window could be opened otherwise it would have been claustrophobic. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The receptionist was very pleasant and kind. Breakfast was simple, coffee tasty. The room was as expected for the price. Quiet too.
Cons: The size of the room. Cleanliness was suspect.
Pros: Nothing. Possibly the worst hotel ever stayed in
Cons: This place is more like a hostel for social services. Lots of children playing in the corridors and around the hotel/hostel Pictures on webpage nothing like the room we had Grey and dirty, Towels like used dishcloths, Would have carried on driving if wasn't so tired. Should decide if its a hotel or a hostel not both stay somewhere else if possible not here We normally stay in north of Spain EurostarsHotels Jaca with breakfast for 9 euros more
Pros: I arrived on time and for the second time in 6 weeks they had no room for me
Pros: Ease & patience at reception. Location start to finish of journey. A welcoming lovely hot shower.
Cons: Very creaky bed.
Pros: No breakfast taken and location wasn't bad. The recptionist was helpful, the bed was comfy and my wife says the shower gel was nice (I used my own)
Cons: When we arrived and were shown to our room we found the following problems: 1. Only one pillow for two guests 2. Both towels very dirty The receptionist was helpful and replaced the towels and provided another pillow. 3 The room curtain was just hanging on by just two hooks 4. The shower hose could not be secured and just fell to the bottom of the rail and there was no hot water. 5 The bathroom door was damaged and there was a hole at the bottom of the entrance door. 6 We asked for a non-smoking room but it was obvious it had recently been used for smoking as it stank of cigarette smoke. Photo's were taken and are available for the above issues.
Pros: convenient location and good parking
Cons: The bed in the room we had this visit was not good as it has sagged in the middle. Usually the beds are OK. Sometimes the rooms are very stuffy and it is too noisy to keep the window open all night.
