excellent stop one of friends rooms not cleaned
Basic but clean and comfortable There was no hot water for a shower before going out in the evening after a days walking/sightseeing.
Great value Distance to the town.
Ease of access Limited services offered
Nothing It is next to the abattiore in an industrial estate with no local amenities. The hotel itself was poorly decorated, presented and not particularly clean.
To make coffee/tea at the room
everything about the hotel was fine apart from the hotel being advertised as hotel/restaurant (plus large sign on building RESTAURANT ) but i was told the restaurant was not open however the breakfast was good. the restaurant area tables were all prepared for meals plus a large menu on a board but we were told the restaurant was not open ? I can only assume that the restaurant was for the sole use of some sort of convention as we arrived at 5pm a large group of young people were just leaving. the following morning the hotel was full of another group of young people and the restaurant tables were all set
Design, Top service. Everything was perfect. Its longtime I haven't fell so well in a hotel!!! No complaints at all.
Friendly, luxurious great place to stay in a beatifull village.
A very elegant apartment, well planned and laid out with all sorts of gizmos - living flame gas fire, big screen TV, iPod, etc The apartment is not actually near the hotel. We arrived at a locked door with a note telling us to call them. They said they would be round to let us in in 15 minutes - we sat on the street till let in. The owner treated us as complete morons in expecting to be let in quicker. And was agresive towards us. Not a happy experience and left us disillusioned with he place, even though the apartment itself was very nice.
The warmth, graciousness, helpfullness and hospitality of our hosts was incomparable. The room was large and quite comfortable. The bed was also perfectly comfortable. the bathroom was spacious with two sinks and a very nice shower. The hotel is right in the heart of the old city in a gorgeous old building that contributes to a fine feeling for "place." Can't say enough good things about it.
very clean hotel with nice antique furnitures. The owner (couple) were very friendly, kind and helpful. Their hospitality were so good!! I would stay there if I visit Chambery.
The peace and quiet!! It was a central location as well. No comment in this aspect.
It's a unique place in the heart of Chambery with parking facilities..Large rooms with antic furniture and paintings. Bathroom is large and renovated. Big flat screen TV and DVD player.Philippe and Edith were really lovely people. Good breakfast..Highly recommended accommodation. Nothing.
Enjoyed our stay very much, we were made most welcome and everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was very spacious. We particularly enjoyed the violin solo at breakfast - thank you, Philipe! Took a little time to find, but well worth the search!
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We felt welcomed No
I liked this hotel very much as it had lots of character. the staff were helpful and the breakfast was very nice. We are used to quiet situations and this hotel, although in the countryside, is situated on a busy roundabout so I did not sleep. I had particularly asked for a quiet room with twin beds and got a front room with one double bed!! When we arrived at about 10pm the hotel was closed and we had e-mailed about a late arrival. The staff had helpfully sent us directions about how to access our room but we could not change the room situation then, as no staff were available.
Was really only a etap/premier classe type hotel. In a rather an out of the way place on the outskirts of St. Egreve and several miles from Grenoble.
Good situation for being near but not in the city. Good value for money. Nice to have a pool to use. Smell of smoking in the corridors and room
Pleaseant hotel, easy to find near the highway. Friendly staff, nice swimming pool and good restarant, both for dinner and breakfast.
Clean and welcoming
Good breakfast good location very close to the highway so it was very easy to find very clean rooms The rooms where too small they were one level under the reception no lift I had to carry my laggages and go down few steps
Surprisingly nice restaurant with an excellent kitchen! Wonderful, cooperative staff. Very bright, nice rooms.
The rooms were very pretty and the beds extremely comfortable. the outdoor pool was also a bonus No changing facilities for the pool
Room and facilities were excellent. Staff very helpful. Only suggestions would be to improve the lounge, meeting area in foyer especially when guests have to use this area for WiFi access.for such a quality hotel in a good location for business and holiday travelers ( whi do not want to stay in big city), WiFi access in rooms would be big improvement. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and room was great.
Clean, air condition, next to the highway (easy to find). Free parking. In the family room, there is a small refridgerator, sink, and even a small dishwasher, but there is not any plates, forks, spoons, glasses, etc. So if you want make your on evening snack or breakfast you have to bring your own set of cutlery or buy from a nearby shop. Swimming pool was a bit small.
Very comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Parking available and convenient for onward travel. Restaurant closed on Sunday night, no information about this available on your site or that of the hotel. On request, reception provided a town centre map and marked the area where restaurants are found. However, most of the restaurants in Voiron are also closed on Sunday night - it would be better that they provided clear information rather than sending us to places that are closed. We did find one place to eat which was open by asking a couple in the centre of town. The proprietor there confirmed the closure of restaurants saying that chefs want to spend Sunday with their families.
Hotel was a bit difficult to locate - needed to use car to find places to eat in Voiron.
Good, cheap accommodation for a quiet break in summer/autumn. Surrounded by nice mountain views and friendly pubs and restaurants (so different from Paris!) The beds were quite hard, and although the room had a nice kitchenette there wasn't any basic supplied like dishwashing liquid or coffee sachets (but easily fixed by a trip to the supermarket)
Hotel in a excellent position, with off road parking. Staff did not turn up until we had to phone them.
We enjoyed the central location and the privacy that the hotel afforded. The staff were very helpful and it was quiet at night.
The attendant very kindly allowed us to check into the hotel before 16:00. The hotel was quiet and close to the downtown core. Hotels guests are not generally permitted to book in before 16:00h - a great inconvenience. The room was very dirty. There was no dishdetergent nor any dishclothes or dishtowels with which to clean dishes. The dishes were dirty. Hotel users are not likely to bring these items with them, and these should be provided.
Information about parking should be clearer because unless i understood incorrectly we were advised that our car with roof box would not fit so we had to leave it parked on the main road outside.
Secure car parking was the reason we used this hotel and that was excellent. It was a gated car park underneath the hotel and and the car spaces were large enough to park a medium sized family car The room was relatively small and the kitchen facilities were very limited-there was no kettle and no large cups or mugs for drinks. There was a fridge and a 2 ring hob. When we stayed the temperature was in the 30's and the lack of airconditioning was a minus.
area it was in Breakfast not available early at 7.30and then couldnt check out at 8am
Availability of fridge and kitchenette in the room, good price, locked stroage for bicycles. Location a bit far from the station without a car, although a bus stop was available just outside the door,
We did not have much time to explore around the hotel or the facilities, the room was very comfortabel and quality of the bed was great. We did not stay for Breakfast but it seem little expensive at 20 Euro p.p for continantial breakfast.
Had a great Time - stafdf was lovely - really appreciated the beatiful breakfast with a good choice - loved the poool too !! We will come back !! On a tout apprecie, l'hotel le staff , la petite piscine et aussi le cadre tres roimantique et très agreable !! Merci pour tout , ov va surmente raccomander votre Hotel Andrea - Italie
Its location Breakfast
The restaurant was excellent. The hotel appears to be mostly a good restaurant with room attached. This is fine for a single overnight stay but not for three nights. The facilities in the room were poor - no tea/coffee facilities, no note paper, no room service etc. The attitude of the hotel staff left a lot to be desired. The attitude of the restaurant staff was, however, excellent.
20 Euros per person for the breakfast was far too much, more than 15 Euros can not be justified, also for such a hotel I also expected better foreign language skills.
staff for their help and assistance. Cost of dinner - more than the room. re question below - yes but don't eat.
Extremely good food, but expensive. Poor english spoken people. Very romantic room. We informed in before our engagement should be at the hotel during our stay. No "extra" from the hotel at all (glas of champagne, extra flowers at our table etc)
Room was large and well furnished with a spacious bathroom. Restaurant food was particularly good with an excellent, creative and innovative chef. One of the best meals we have eaten anywhere Difficult to find, final section of driveway hazardous, Room service drinks etc very expensive
The restaurant was excellent. The welcome wasn't very friendly, but other staff were nice.
Beautitul hotel, great bathroom! Poor selection at breakfast, not great value for money at 15 euros. Facilities to make a drink in your room would have been nice. No shower.
Strong smell of smoke. In dire need of even the most basic upgrade. Shabby and run-down. Unfriendly staff when we attempted to organise an evening meal- our only experience of this during our entire holiday in France. Hotel was in the middle of a remote industrial estate- even our local taxi driver had problems finding it! As a result we cancelled our stay on the return journey.
Very little This hotel should be demolished because it is demolishing the reputation and name of campinile. It is hard to belive your company would put guests into such a property with 4 in a very small room. With wallpaper peeling off the wall. With inadequate towels for 4 guests. With a hot kettle for making tea and coffee positioned ona shelf over a childs bed where it could fall over and burn the child-incredible. This is a dirty hotel. I cannoy belive the french government department who inpect your premises have passed this place fit for guests. You are a big company and you have obviously decided not to spend money here. We I am responding and it is very unlikely I will spend anymore money with your company. I will lokk at the other chains for accomadation. And finally as far as I am aware I booked a double bed with 2 child places but was given a room with 2 single beds and 2 child beds that was so small we had to step outside to let them in 1 at a time.
The staff were friendly. We arrived quite late but this was not a problem. The bar had closed but we could still get beer and other drinks. The rooms are well equipped, with tea and coffee provided, also soap and shampoo which was great.
close proximity to airport poky over-hot room with no opening window, supposed to sleep 4 but if there had been 4 of us we'd have walked on top of one bed to get round the room; horrid bathroom with moldy peeling wallpaper and less than clean towels
proximity to Airport and friendliness of staff It was too far from the town and too close to another very noisy hotel. Also, my 9 year old daughter found a used condom on the grass outside of our room. The shutter on our room was broken and failed to open, however, the staff moved us very quickly to another room when we complained.
Location Room a little grubby
No. Maybe that hotel were at right adress. That is worst place I've been before. Place were not waited on me. They gave me place in 1* Prima or somthing like that, becose they has confereces on place at this time. Could room with broken toilet.
small room and very dirty
This is really basic, but in fairness, clean, compact (very) and ideal for the purpose we had. Good location for Grenoble airport, and choice of a pizzeria or Camponile restaurant next door.
Toilets were clean Main lobby was dirty and also outside of the room was dirty-
to to get a bed near the wintersport
After a long journey, it was easy to find as it was near the motorway exit. Due to it not being staffed at night, there was a lot of noise from a group of children. The person from the hotel opposite had little power to kep them quiet.
Nothing! Dirty, smelly, cramp room!
It was cheap It attracts a poor quality of guest. Many were very noisy during the night.
Good price, easy to find, could fit 3 in a room. A bit noisy, the walkways cause some noise when people walk past outside.
Staff were helpful and approachable Unfortunately, the rooms were very very cold. The heater in one room did not work, the staff changed this but the heater was not powerful enough to keep either of the two rooms warm.
the frienly staff . the outside of the building is very dingy, with some broken outside roomdoors , so you get feelings you are in a poor and dangerous part from the city.
Clean and conveneant and not too expensive
This is a good place to spend the night if you passes by Chambery. Do not spend time searching for resturants in the town Chambery. We were there at a sunday and hardly found any places to eat. It is better to use the hotel restaurant. They have a WI FI net at the hotel. Maybe the hotel personall should try to speak a little english.
Quiet and pleasant. Good staff No
Good bed size restaraunt on site easy to find kettle in room No cnn, or other english channels on tv some road noise
Friendly staff - very clean hotel - good value for money Not easy to find - directions on the booking information should be better - location is not good - you need to stay on site or drive to find a good restaurant - but the the theme of Campanile
clean, comfortable - perfect for a stopover on way to ski resort
This is an ideal location for a one night stay. The evening meal and the breakfast were both good.
The room was nicely warm for our arrival on a cold night. The secure parking, (the gates are locked at night). The hotel is undergoing modernisation in certain areas, chiefly the restaurant area which appeared to affect the choice available for breakfast.
Nice big room. Good place opposite the train station.
Efficient, practical, room clean and comfortable, buffet easy to access, garage convenient Pity there is no restaurant for dinner at the hotel, but room service was available and the restaurant outside was very close to the hotel, so it was not a major problem.
Location was great. Breakfast was not included.
Check-in took less than a minute. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and warm.
The hotel was very convienently located opposite train station and was a short walk to the charming town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice size and had everything you would need.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent. My wife would have liked tea making facilities in the room.
Close to train station I felt prices of meals especially breakfast and drinks was too high
Good location close to motorway. Friendly staff. The food in the restaurant.
easy access from the airport welcoming from start to finish looking forward to returning next year unless there is a special offer might return before then...Ronan Twomey
Location was convenient.
Very family friendly, as all Novetels are A bit tatty and run down on all aspects. Aircon needs to be stronger, breakfast needs to be fresher
Convenient for Grenoble and surrounding area. Comfortable and staff helpful.
Children stay free, also it is very nice to see that children do not pay for breakfast, this is an unusual and welcome experience
Overall comfort and helpful staff, good breakfast, convenient location
Although receptionstaff were friendly and helpful, our stay was spoiled by the attitude of the staff at breakfast where we got the distinct impression that we were not specially welcome,
The location of the hotel was very good. I thought our room was adequate but fairly expensive for the standard. Plenty of hot water but the bathroom was in great need of refurbishment. I found the bed uncomfortable.
Wonderful charm. Free internet use on hotel computer. Highly recommended.
Location Yes. One of our rooms was infested with cockroaches. The bathroom smelled unpleasantly.
Central location, ease of booking No
Nice hotel right in the centre of the town
A pleasant, traditional feel and ambiance, combined with good facilities and very friendly staff. Really good lack of a restaurant
Design, decocaration. It is really beautiful and in city centre. That staff does not speak English.
Very central with secure parking, helpful staff, comfortable and welcoming reception area Our room was very small with a small double bed even though it was furnished attractively in alpine style. Breakfast basic, should have been part of the room price. Only one small lift.
Excellent location right in the city center of Chambéry -- main attractions and the old city is right at the doorstep of the hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Not expensive, great for a city trip weekend!
Location - close to road crossings. Value for money - convenient price.
Hotel was adequate for cost of room Credit card accepted for payment on internet was not accepted by hotel & had to ring France & remake booking
Impossible to get back object left one week before
Cheap room and breakfast Room was clean but shabby - no soap in dispenser, no sheet on top bed, remote control held together with tape, plastic safety guard on top bunk broken. Other Premiere Classe hotels have been in much better shape - conditions obviously vary by hotel.
Budget price. Just adequate for stop over en-route. Worth paying a bit more for better. Cramped, shabby (but not chique).
Close to motorway and inexpensive. Very basic as expected from the price but the bed needed replacing and the room temperature control didn't work and was set too high for comfort.
asked for disabled room and was given room so small could hardly get into room. very, very uncomfortable
Situation nearby highway; parking place Checking in late at night was not easy. There should be better instructions outside the gate. We are non smokers but the room did not smell fresh.
nothing room smelled of sanitizer until door left open long enough for it to disperse leaving a smell of dogs! walls grey with age -room needs urgent redecoration. toilet flush broke during stay - not typical of Premiere Classe hotels which we often use and are always clean and good value for money
Closed after 21hs. Small rooms, very small bathroom. Air conditioned not working.
