Pros: Nice place, if you like nice little details and cleanliness you will be served.
Pros: The swimming pool, the accommodating host, the choice for the breakfast, the tree recommendation, the beds.
Pros: The B&B was, excellent , super host,s great breakfast ,comfortable bed , great shower ,lovely pool and garden, will visit again next time.
Pros: Great pool after long day cycling! Generous breakfast! Informative hosts!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!!!
Pros: This has to be the score of 10 against which all others are measured. The welcome, the facilities, the thoughtful touches, the breakfast are all absolutely first class. We have stayed in many places but BandB Douce is the very top of the tree. We arrived on a cycling tour so the first thing Fred offered was to drive us in to town either to a restaurant or to a supermarket. As the facilities included a full kitchen I chose to accept the offer of a lift to the supermarket, after we had showered and made use of the excellent swimming pool. The rooms and bathroom are extremely comfortable and all done to a very high standard. Additional touches like external mosquito nets over the window and electric shutters make this stand out from others. The bed was really comfy and we slept well. Breakfast, served by Fred and accompanied by an enjoyable chat with David, was impressive. Croissants, baguette, coffee, tea, ham, cheeses, jams, yogurt etc. Knowing that we were cycling along the canal that day, Fred was even thoughtful enough to provide us with extra food to make sandwiches for our lunch, and the foil to wrap them. Such thoughtfulness makes this place stand head and shoulders above most accommodations. I can not think of any way it could be improved. Thank you Fred and David.

Pros: Friendlyness of owmers
Pros: M. and Mme Gaillard were exceptionally kind, welcoming and flexible. It was a pleasure to stay at their quiet home in the countryside but only 4km from a small town and not far from Miossac where the abbey is outstanding, worth a large detour.
Pros: This place offers a warm welcome, a lot of space to use, an excellent internet connection and everything very clean.
Pros: This property belongs to a couple who are renting their spare rooms on booking.com and airbnb. Good to have a bedroom, bathroom, toilet and sitting area separate from the owners. They are a very friendly couple although speak minimal English, they took their dinner and breakfast with us. They also have some pets.
Cons: The only problem was that they did not receive/see the booking notification before we arrived so were not expecting us. I expect they do not see many tourists in January!
Pros: Bed & breakfast with possibility for lunch and dinner. Mr and Mrs Gaillard are the perfect housts and made our stay interesting and lovely. Many useful tips about the surrounding. Clean and pieceful in a lovely place. Warmest recommendations, Anna o Lisa
Pros: Lovely Manor house in a beautiful setting. Best breakfasts we have ever had in France. Karel and Martin made us very welcome.
Cons: Nothing-all good.
Pros: A well kept rural manoir equipped with swimming pool and air conditioning in a large private park with tall trees. We’ve had a room with excellent ergonomic bed (good for the spine) and a new large bathroom on the upper floor. The landlords were very helpful in recommending local sightseeings and good restaurants in the vicinity. The highlights were breakfasts – first morning in the main dining room (near chateau style) and the 2nd morning outside under the tall trees with beautiful views of the country side. The landlords took care of every detail – home made croissants (!) and jams, 3 types of artisan breads, yoghurt, fresh fruits, several kinds of ham, soft cheeses etc. We’ve had enough privacy though felt attention of the landlords whenever it was needed.
Cons: Just one point – very slow Internet connection. Would be great to have a faster wifi Internet the next time.
Pros: What a fabulous place!!! The hosts are wonderful. The house is super charming with great facilities. (Including a Super swimming pool). The dinner was completely delicious (Karl aka Charles) is a very skilled chef!!! Staying at Manoir Larcouillet was the perfect end to our holiday and we were so well looked after by the hosts. I would go back in the morning if I could :))

Pros: Alison came to take us from Auvillar in order to save us the trouble of walking. We arrived to the most beautiful house(1820). Our set of rooms was amazingly comfortable and the garden around was surrounding by endless fields. We were given the generous opportunity to stay till 13:00 and then Nick took us to the train station. Thank you Alison and Nick . We surely wait to return.
Pros: There was nothing not to like. The owners, the facilities and the location were all delightful. Not knowing the area we were wondering where to eat on our first evening, when we would be arriving late, but Allison, the owner, foresaw that and, after checking with us, booked us in to two very nice restaurants for our first and last nights. It was much appreciated. Because of our age we are not likely to travel in France again, but if we were then Le Farat would be on our list and we would recommend it to everyone.
Cons: Because of the high ceilings, and the weather, it was cold in the rooms, but Allison did her best to ameliorate that by encouraging us to put on electric heaters, and stoke up the wood burning stove. She even brought us a couple of hot water bottles. Couldn't have done more
Pros: Beautiful setting. Excellent hospitality from very friendly hosts. Allison and Nick couldn’t have been nicer!
Pros: Hostess lovely.super size.gorgeous views .pool wonderful

Located in Auvillar, Hôtel de l'Horloge is in a rural location, a 3-minute drive from Golf d'Espalais and 9 minutes from Conservatoire des Metiers d'Autrefois.
Pros: Location and building is very nice. The restaurant is quite original and probably best in town. Reservation recommended on weekends. Our room was spacious (nr 2) and nice. We enjoyed our stay there
Cons: Breakfast is not worth 11,50€ per person. Just 1 croissant, some baguette, jam and butter. Coffee and some fruit juice. No cheese, no ham or eggs,
