Pros: Place itself very nice with huge territory, nice play ground and sandbox for children, houses cosy, clean and new, surrounded with forests. Very nice and helpful hosts. A walk to sea is very nice as forest is extremely beautiful with a lot of blueberries. A lot of things to visit around and a lot of forest paths for walking, running or cycling.
Cons: There's no place (a rope or something) to dry clothes and towels, as well terrace with no roof (even the rain is short, furniture in terrace is wet all day, cant leave a baby's stroller under roof, needed to take inside everytime it rained). Not very nice beach, a lot seaweed and smelly.
Pros: Namiņā ērts un jauks iekārtojums

Pros: Beautiful, clean, comfortable and calm place for a family, loved the big windows and a terrace.
Cons: Water. I understand that there is not much staff can do to make it better, but the smell of it was horrible! Couldnt take shower, nor to be in bathroom if someone took the shower. Maybe im just too sensitive for that smell, but due to it i will not stay here again. Im sorry.

Pros: Everything was perfect
Pros: Marcus and his family were phenomenal hosts. The modest accommodations are exactly as advertised ... clean & comfy. A great oasis on the road from Kolka to Jurmala. However, no words can describe the warmth created by Marcus’ gracious hospitality - dinner and breakfast were delicious, the beers were tasty, and he even showed us the way to their personal beach.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Really nice patio! Good place to have evening aperol spritz :)
Pros: It's simple. Hosts great. Food good. It's rustic in the best way.
Cons: It's rustic but in a nice way.
Located in the small town of Mersrags close to the shore of the Gulf of Riga, this cosy guesthouse offers perfect conditions for relaxing amidst a beautiful and unspoilt natural landscape. The beach is 2 km from Vetrasputns. The Vetrasputns features comfortable rooms with free internet access, a sauna, a café, and a beautiful garden with a trampoline and a barbecue. The guesthouse is surrounded by unique countryside with a variety of landscapes, from a sandy beach to forests full of berries and mushrooms. Nearby Lake Engure National Park is a great place for fishing, boating, and bird-watching. Riga is 93 km away from the Vetrasputns.
Pros: One of the best hosts. Very friendly and welcoming
Pros: Everything was awesome from start to finish. Check in was easy and fast. The room we got was very basic but clean, big enough for two adults and had its own toilet and shower which is always a huge plus - if you don't need much, it's perfect. There was also a little kettle in the room so you could make your own tea or coffee (they gave you tea bags). The property was very cozy, felt like home with big green garden. They also had a little restaurant there that is convenient. The food was absolutely delicuous. We were also served huge and very filling breakfast (they asked what time we would like to have it) - everything was fresh, just prepared, warm, the coffee was good! Considering that we just needed a place to crash for one night, Vētrasputns exceeded all our expectations. We are very happy we got to stay there!
Pros: Friendly staff. Cold dinner was organized to our room.
Cons: Restaurant closed very early
Pros: Nice and helpful host and stuff, delicious pancakes ;)
Pros: Very nice family who run the hotel, great food, quiet environment, easy and smooth! Really worth the money so a visit is recommended.
Pros: A convenient stop on our bicycle tour. Our lovely host was very helpful. Very reasonable, tasty food.
Pros: Great breakfest. Very nice hosts.
Cons: Uncomfertable beds. Very small village. We could not find a place to watch the euroleuge final four. Not the best place for dinner, allthough very chep.
Offering a barbecue and views of the lake, Atpūtas Vieta Raudiņi is situated in Kaltene. Some units feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or patio are featured in certain rooms. The area is popular for fishing and hiking. Upon request guests can arrange guide services. The nearest airport is Riga International Airport, 86 km from the property.
Pros: Our family really enjoyed the place, quiet peaceful, feel at home, the owners are wonderful, I recommend people who like the quiet and beautiful Kurzeme nature, not far from the sea, we liked everything
Pros: It was ok about dogs.
Cons: A petty to say, but I imagine my holiday another way. To the toilet in night you should go through yard. The room is under roof, so is terrible hot, or cold. For this price I didin't expect to live in under construction. We have left before. We were promised do give our moneys back, for 4 nights (it's 4 nights x 80 eur), but unfortunately not. Photos in booking are really very nice, but in reality looks different...
Pros: Quiet place
Cons: Uncomfortable, humidity and smell of damp. We couldn’t open the window. No curtains. Only a very small washbasin in the restrooms. Not useful for brushing teeth. We already payed 90€ but we couldn’t stay in this dirty place and we have left.
Pros: The host was super nice. She showed us the place and the path to the sea. She also served us rhubarb dumplings. It is an amazing Latvian dessert and a must if you travel here in the begining of summer. The place is calm and good for couples. The sauna house smels amazing and welcomes to take a good Latvian sauna (for additional cost). We did not use it as it was a hot summer day. Beatiful stony Kaltene beach is very close. A sandy beach for sun basking is about 3 km from the place.
Cons: No mosquito nets while they would be really helpfull in this place. It is also not possible to open the windows in the sauna house where we stayed. The view on the "lake" means actually the view on a pond. No frekfeast
Pros: It was huge territory with fire place and small lake! Very pleasant and welcoming hosts!!
Cons: Everything as expected and above!
Pros: The surroundings - idyllic pond near the forest, roses and country flowers practically everywhere. Comfortable beds. The kitchen was large with a big fridge and the view to the pond.
Cons: It is far from the beach - you need to go by car which is not mentioned in the description. Only 1 out of 4 windows in the family room could be opened and had curtains - we had luck that the temperatures dropped from 30 to 20 degrees the day we arrived otherwise it would be hard to survive because of the heat.
Just 100 metres from the beach in the Gulf of Riga, this modern wooden building in Kaltene, 6 km south of Roja, offers panoramic sea views and a sauna. All rooms in the Rederi guest house have an access to a common terrace. WiFi is available in the lobby. Latvian specialities and international cuisine are served in the restaurant. You can also make use of the barbecue facilities on site. The sauna can be found in the separate bathhouse featuring a relaxation room with an open fireplace.
Pros: Very close to the sea
Cons: Bed smell and bathroom was floating. Expensive brekfest. Not good for that money.
Pros: the staff was great.
Cons: Worn out flooring, no wifi
Pros: Staff and food
Cons: If you want to be ripped off, great place to be. Nice pics on page, but reality is far worse and if you demand a discount for lower quality services, they will scratch your terrific hospitality
Pros: Location, staff,style
Cons: No cups.bathroom wery slippery. Spiders and one kokrouch was in bathroom
Pros: Wonderful place with a good restaurant - we arrived after a motorcycle trip around Kurzeme and were pretty hungry so could enjoy the big and tasty portions. Location is just near the sea, which is clean and nice.
Cons: The breakfast selection could be better, and we noticed a few spiders in the room. The shower overfloods the whole bathroom (and even the carpet in the living room), so be careful with that. Everything else was tip-top.
