The fact that I travel with a dog and have to pay up to $ 20.00 to open the door to the room and see where other people let their animals piss on the floor. And they say they are pet friendly but only hold 4 or 5 rooms to keep pets in .
it was old and noisy
Good breakfast selection, pool was a good size & jacuzzi was separate from pool, which made it private. First of all it is a MOTEL, not a HOTEL, the name of the place is false advertising. Staff members are cold & short while checking in. When I went to breakfast I was greeted with a list of rules, no food and drink are allowed to leave the area, so be prepared to eat with strangers if you stay here. I even asked to pay extra to take my food to go (which were on paper plates and paper cups), but the babysitter in charge of breakfast refused to allow it. I had a friend over for dinner about 10:00 pm & received a call from the front desk, who said I'm not allowed to have guests over that late & my friend would need to leave immediately or I would be charged a fee for an additional person staying the night. During checkout 4 days later I found out they had added that fee for each night of my stay, which was an extra $60 bucks! I was not notified of this beforehand, nor was this authorized. They ended up telling me they would remove the extra charges for all nights except the 1st (once they knew I wouldn't put up with their scam), but they did have to charge an extra $15 for a handtowel that was stained (I had wiped my lipstick off the night before on the towel so I guess they don't use very good soap). Do not stay here, you will regret it after you see how unfriendly the staff is & once they nickel & dime you every chance they get!
The staff was very friendly and i like the fact that they provided security at night to watch our vehicles being that the hotel bordered the down town area and on the other side you had a little rif raff across the street waiting for the bart rail. Over all the area is pretty safe. The breakfast was decent. The hotel and the room were not worth the jacked up price they charge during the baseball spring training especially when you're there for business and not the baseball stuff. This hotel is decent but at a cheaper price or should i say the regular price not the spring training price.
The room was big and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Better than average HVAC unit in the room with a regular thermostat. Lots of choice for breakfast. The overall impression is of a well-run, well-maintained facility. Excellent value for the money.
