Pros: Quite simply, if we could award more than 10 out of 10 we would. Such an amazingly equipped chalet, almost as if the owners have thought about every single thing you might need and put it into their cosy chalet. A true home stay. We ran out of superlatives for how good it was!!!
Cons: Only wish we could have stayed more than one night - it REALLY was that good!!

Pros: We were passing through for one evening to breakup a long drive, checked-in at 7pm and left at 5am the next morning, so cannot comment on the facilities as we did not use them (sadly, as they looked great). The reception staff was very welcoming, we were given a 2 bedroom apartment which was large, comfortable, modern and clean. The entire building looked brand new. It’s just off the main highway through Jura, so a great location for a stop off. All their restaurants were booked out for dinner (Saturday evening) but the reception staff gave us names of others in the village and we managed to get the last available table at a lovely bistro; in other words, book restaurants in advance.
Pros: new and clean hotel, spacious room with good kitchenette

Cons: Nothing , every thing is perfect
Pros: the hotel seems new and everything is clean and tidy. Nice spa and pool.
Cons: Its a bit too stylish for me and had a less character. Since it was apartment we must clean up everything we used - 50 euros is you didn't. for only one night stay, it is a bit wast.....
Pros: Nice kind of appart hotel. facilities were pretty new. Finishing of hotel facility ok. We like the staff but service is limited. Swimming pool is great. Stunning views. Small town in the Jura, so limited restaurant options. Lake walking as well.Great value for money in the Jura mountains.....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Pros: every things , the location

Cons: Very ordinary food in restaurant at supper and very overpriced

Pros: Brigitte's house is very cosy and welcoming. She was a lovely host and the house is beautiful. The breakfast was tasty and rich, and all ingredients bio (organic). She gave us the good tips for things to do in the region, for restaurants and ski stations. I highly recommend this B&B.

Pros: Fabulous dinner in the hotel’s own restaurant with really good friendly service. Great views from the lovely hotel garden. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Our room was quite small and had restricted view.
Pros: We were late and they waited us for dinner. The landlord took out his car and offered his own garage for our motorbikes.
Pros: What a beautiful spot this is! I felt so lucky to have found this jem and spend the night here. It was so peaceful. The room was bright and clean with windows that opened to let the sunset in. Check in was fantastic and friendly and had we not already eaten, I’m sure the restaurant downstairs was fabulous as well. The love and care the hosts have for this property is obvious here. Thanks for a great stay!
Pros: Wonderful view and great food and service
Pros: The breakfast was superb, very friendly host and very helpful.
Pros: Breakfast is simply great and totally worth the additional fee. The room was spacious for our family with a nice bath with abundant water. It looks a bit worn-out from the outside but is really nice and cosy inside.
Pros: We very much enjoyed our one night stay. The hotel is very well presented inside and out, and so quiet at night because it is away from the main road, but it was still very easy to find in the small village. We were not able to eat in the restaurant as it was a Sunday evening, but the Pinto family very kindly booked a table for us at a restaurant close by. The Pinto family are very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and we will definitely be returning next year on our way to Italy to eat in the charming restaurant.

Pros: Quiet location, spacious bathoom, delicious food
Pros: Nice place, great little pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Very clean and quiet. Friendly staff.
Cons: The menu was limited. The interior decor was, er, very pink/orange.
Pros: Great owners, nice place, very clean and comfortable
Pros: Very friendly staff !
Cons: Some of the rooms would benefit from a make over, eg door handle, hangers etc.
Pros: Amazing food, amenities and staff
Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: The breakfast was meager to say the least. It was so small they didn't even supply plates to put it on. When we went to breakfast, our daughter came in a little after we were seated and told us that the staff, four people, were tearing our room apart and we still had our things in it and hadn't checked out yet. I went back to the room to ask what they were doing and they just threw their hands up in the air and talked loudly amongst themselves. They left quickly and I locked the door. They proceeded to do the same thing to our daughter's room after I walked away because a lady that was staying down the hall saw what was happening, and went back to retrieve her valuables and cell phone and told us they were in our children's room doing the same thing. We found this to be very disturbing and never encountered anything like this in all our trips to Europe.
Cons: We were asked to check out at 10:00 AM although we mentioned that a little later was convenient for us (this was Sunday!). No flexibility.
Pros: Quiet location. Excellent overnight stay on way back from Italy. Delicious evening meal
Cons: Nothing. We have stayed there twice before.
Pros: Easy car parking out side by to front door of the hotel. Excellent family room with a bunk bed in a side bedroom.
Cons: limited choice of food for breakfast.
Pros: Excellent service provided by the guy in reception. WiFi worked just fine. My room had a balcony where I could try my wet clothes.
Cons: The rate was a bit high, given that breakfast cost +8 euros per person per night. Check-in time was rather late (at 17:30).
With a stay at Hôtel Le Lac in Malbuisson, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Haut-Jura Regional Nature Reserve and Lac Saint-Point. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift).
Pros: Everything was great, if the hotel had made more use of its terracing for outdoor café etc. it would have been even better. Reception staff were fantastic
Cons: Rooms too hot at night, breakfast maître D was ferocious, no bar snacks
Pros: Beautiful location. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake which was wonderful.
Cons: Unfortunately all the restaurants were fully booked the evening I arrived (Friday 22nd February).
Pros: Charming hotel and helpful
Pros: Good setting ,nice views Warm welcome Good breakfast
Cons: Rather tired feel Dated atmosphere prominent
Pros: Lovely hotel, parking opposite. Great view over the lake. Did not have a lake view room but would do next time as they were quieter.
Cons: Bath was very small and shower in the bath useless - difficult to use without getting water all over the floor.
Pros: Well established traditional hotel. Great Dining Room nice bar area and pool table if required. Friendly staff. I would have no hesitation booking this hotel again
Cons: Room facing the mountain and carpark, found the room quite dark with dark grey wallpaper. Basic small shower room. No hot option available at breakfast. Boiled egg would have been nice.
Pros: We will be returning for sure!
Pros: Quaint as not been modernised - great for an overnight
Cons: No kettle
Pros: Great breakfast & excellent Services
Pros: Locatiion, restaurant
Cons: Nothing in particularWe are
Located just 5 km from Métabief Mont d’Or ski resort in the Haut Jura Natural Regional Park, La Roche du Trésor provides guest rooms in a large chalet. Free Wi-Fi is provided in public areas and free private parking is possible on site. Each room is equipped with a wardrobe, a table and chairs, and a private bathroom with a bath or shower. A buffet breakfast is available daily, and you can enjoy other meals in the self-service restaurant, available if reserved in advance. The chalet has 3 activity rooms including a lounge area with a fireplace, a TV, a pool table and table football. In the area, you can enjoy activities such as skiing and hiking. Longeville Train Station is 220 metres away.
Pros: Breakfast was okay - nothing very special.
Cons: The house rather seems like a hostel than a hotel. The Wi-Fi only works in the lobby and not in the room. The employees don't really speak English what makes things a bit difficult. In the shower it is quite dark. There is a TV in the room, but to get the remote control, one has to pay a deposit. All in all there are a lot of things that could be improved.
Cons: Very creaky bed - bad enough to impact sleeping
Cons: Rooms are very noisy, you can hear everyone moving the chairs around. The bathroom smells.
With a stay at Hotel beau site in Malbuisson, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Haut-Jura Regional Nature Reserve and Lac Saint-Point. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: we changed hotel as hotel beau site unsuitable for disabled we were put on 3rd floor with no lift they changed our room to different one which was in fact a cheaper room but a higher star rating dinner was expensive but nice
Cons: accommodation unsuitable for disabled in beau site
Cons: We cycled from London to the Alps and this hotel was our last stop. We arrived after a 100km cycle at approx 1pm. Our rooms were not ready until 4pm and we had to wait until then to have a shower and change. The staff were not interested in helping us and we felt very uncomfortable sitting on the veranda/bar area in our cycle kit. It took us a long time just to organise a drink as all waiting staff seemed to be pre-occupied with serving lunch to other guests. We only had that afternoon to look around and enjoy some time at the lake. We could not make the most of this as we were unable to get into our room. The apartment was perfectly ok for the 3 of us, it had decent facilities and a good shower. However, the 2 bedrooms were at the top of the property and were stifling hot during the night without any chance of reducing the temperature. None of us were able to get much sleep before our final cycle over the Jura and into the Alps. It was a shame as the hotel is located in a beautiful location.
Pros: The stationary to send a letter.
Pros: Lovely clean hotel, very comfortable room.
Cons: When i checked in i was told I could not eat in the restaurant as it was full. It was also hard to find reception. Staff were not overly helpful and watched me struggle with two large bages and a bike without offering to help in any way. Staff let the property down.
Pros: Small duplex apartment with two separate bedrooms and a small kitchenette/diner, a good bathroom downstairs and an extra loo with handbasin upstairs. Fridge in the kitchenette. Children enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast available at the hotel next door for an additional charge.
Cons: Kitchenette had to be left spotlessly clean to avoid an additional €50 charge but no cleaning equipment provided - this had to be bought at an extra cost of €6.
Pros: Good spot. Nice restaurants belong to the hotel. Breakfast room had a nice ambiente.
Pros: I liked having 2 bedrooms with the kids with a seperate floor... lots of space. We loved the little town and just happened to find a little festival with dancing and fireworks on the night we were there. Parking is accross the street which is easy. The restaurant down the street was very good as well.
Cons: The hotel is very old and little bit dingy... not sure it was really clean... but it was okay. You also had to take the stairs up to the room because there was no elevator.
Pros: The location by the lake and the mountain
Cons: There was no lounge area in the hotel, no tv in the main bedroom, the attic ceiling very low :we have to crouch and bang our heads above the bed, very small double bed for tall people, no quilt , old sheets and blankets. Very steep steps to get to the bedrooms, we cant open the windows because attic window covered with big layer of snow, very tiny kitchen and again big disapointment to find out no lounge area !we won'go there again
Pros: We had a chalet room on 3 levels which had its own dining and cooking facilities.
Pros: The location, the bedroom and the lake.
Cons: The staff were unfriendly and sometimes aggressive.
With a stay at Hôtel de la Poste in Malbuisson, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Haut-Jura Regional Nature Reserve and Lac Saint-Point. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: excellent stopover, lovely hotel,
Pros: The staff were very pleasant, but they were at the neighbouring hotel, which actually ran the Hotel de la Poste. We had a unit with 2 bedrooms which was a bonus for our party of 3 people. We didn't want a full breakfast and the reception staff at the neighbouring Hotel du Lac were very helpful in offering us a Formule (coffee, croissant, orange juice) instead.
Cons: As usual, no soap in the shower and bathroom!
Pros: excellent location. moderate price and good service.
Pros: We had 2 connecting rooms so the space was good, although it would have been a tight squeeze for 4 people. It was cheap. Would strongly advise paying more at a different hotel.
Cons: No check-in at the hotel. We had to check-in 200 yards away at a different hotel. Subsequently no-one on duty at the hotel if there had been a problem. On a very noisy road where heavy traffic started at 6am No restaurant open in the evening and the one at the sister hotel was fully booked.
Pros: Quirky building. Interesting adaptation Super breakfast
Cons: No air conditioning
