Food is ok. Food choice is not very wide, but everything is good and quite fresh. Superior Suite is quite good for two adults and two children. There are no sea view though (no room at the hotel have sea view). Many trees and bushes on the hotle territory. Children playground is miserable - a number of semi-broken toys, such as bicycles and cars. No children animation staff at all. There is no hotel beach, all beaches at the city are for everyone. Water is crytal clear, but sometimes there are a lot of junk (cigararettes butts, papers, etc) have floated near beaches. Usually it happened after 10am. Wi-Fi at hotel is free, but usually didn't worked at all. Overall atmosphere is good, many children, no music noises, quite normal hotel guests Be prepared that overboooking is usual thing at the hotel! After my arrival to hotel (with wife and two small children), hotel manager told me that my Superior Suite (which was booked month before the trip, and it was additionally confirmed by the hotel manager by email week before my arrival) is not availabel And _probably_ it will be available week later. Finally we stay at nearest apartments for a week and then live for week more at the hotel. Hotel staff friendly in general, but not professional. Usually nobody will greet you (even reception staff!) - they just do not look at you. This is not big issue for me, but it is annoying litlle bit.
Hotel's territory, grass We were moved to another hotel for the first day due to overbooking
proximity to beach, swimming pool and breakfast. internet wireless was very complicated to connect to so had to use a nearby cafe.
We were more than pleased. Expected more of a 3-star hotel, but certainly merits the 4-star status. Nice location, nice grounds, and quality renovations and upgrades to the rooms. Not an exciting hotel - and the bar is not interesting -- but great for relaxation, and easy walk to the many quality restaurants along the Petrovacs promenade. Largely Russian (and secondarily German and English) clientele. Everything good. Would have been nice to have even a small fitness center - there is space for one.
Excellent location down beside promenade & close to town centre. Good selection at breakfast. Excellent pool with nice gardens.
The most important service it was the spa + relax center with excellent facilities The local of the breakfast was not very comfortable and with a long distance between products and tables. The quality of breakfast it was not on level of 5 stars hotel.
beach, spa, dinner, room, nature around are ok gym is very poor, cleaning could be better, smoking area is everywhere (i do not smoke, so I am not happy to seat just near smoking people at the restaurant having breakfast), hotel is oriented to business aims (conferences, meetings and so on) and we did not feel us comfortable (because choosing hotel before leaving Russia we wished to make one more honeymoon; we did not satisfied)
Perfect hotelvand setting N/a

The location of the hotel, helpfulness and attitude of your staff particularly the concierge and his team. Room was very comfortable and always clean and tidy on our return. Breakfast and Buffet could do with some improvement, we had breakfast in our room / terrace mainly because an external seating area was not available in thr restaurant.
the room was nice, comfy and spacious
almost everything I didn' like the moment when I needed to eat lunch or dinner and the restaurants where closed. They have to check also the minibar everyday
Comfort, pool, services, garage, music, location Pay WiFi in public area, imposible work in Internet in the room.
everything, it was a very relaxing experience
The price was better than others and the location good. The TV didn't work and the shower door was broken.
Hotel Ambassador at Podgorica is located at a quiet nice place riverside. It has a great terrace restaurant with live music. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is nice. There is a reach and tasty continental breakfast served. The only problem with air conditioner failed was solved quickly. So, never mind.
The hotel was a good location the reception staff were most helpfull . The restaurant had no atmosphere and the buffet food was terrible we went into Budva for some lovely restaurants.
Very supportive staff at the reception, in the beach and the restaurant nearby. Good air-conditioning in the rooms. Nice evening live music daily in the beach bar. Poor room service (hoesehold maintenance). During our sraying at the hotel all the maids did was emptying trash bins and providing tissues. Our bad was made up only once. The room was not a clean one: the carpet, chairs, walls were dirty. Some furniture was broken. At breakfast the waiters hardly served up coffe, although it was their duty - the coffe was not available for self-service. I can not call this hotel a "4-star hotel", I would rather give it 3 stars. Poor animation program.
While not top notch this hotel was excennent value for money. In particular the spa area was greatly appreciated,
We were moved to the Hotel Tara due to problems with water in the area our room was located. Quite a few other guests were also moved. However, the Hotel compensated by upgradeing to alll inclusinve and provided two complemetary body treatments at the Hotel Spendid Spa (excellant). Despite the fact that we knew it was a Buffet style restaurant it did really resmble a canteen. The Hotel also needs to vary its food selction instead of the same for lunch and dinner.
Food was very good and staff friendly and helpful. Disappointed by the balcony, which was very narrow and not suitable for sitting out. Also disappointed at the 3 pools which were very small and only suitable for children.
very friendly staff; breakfast great with a lot of choice; nice privat beach at 1 min walk it's an expensive hotel, but it's worth for a couple of days
The Hotel was good value for money, great location with good parking and I especially liked the spa.
Beach/seaside The room' carpet was full with emmet
Sauna, jacuzzi and indoor pool. Proximity to Budva, Sveti Stefan, Kotor and Cetinje. Proximity to beach.
central location, friendly staff and wide range of good food in buffet meals. fully booked by SAGA (probably just at this time of year) so we had to sleep in a twin bed with a very uncomfortable and intrusive division.my daughter and her husband couldnt be intimate with us listenening in!! they are only recently married and live/work on a ship.we had chosen this hotel to give them some much needed privacy.
Wonderful attentive staff and an absolutely spectacular setting on the Gulf of Kotor. The facilities in general are excellent.
Fantastic location. Very pleasant & helpful staff. Beautiful conversion of an attractive old building. The hotel facilities seem to be used by friends/ neighbours of the hotel sometimes putting pressure on space for hotel guests
wonderful location, very nice historical building Breakfeast vry poor
The views from our room were spectacular, the hotel staff were friendly and went out of their way to help in any way they could. Although the hotel is located in Dobrata, the 45 minute stroll to Kotor's old town along the water's edge was really pleasant, and the taxi back was no more than €4. I definitely would recommend this hotel!
The hotel is very luxurious. The rooms are very comfortable with amazing views. The location is perfect for a relaxing break. Its a 45 min walk into Kotor old town but its a beautiful walk along the waterfront. There didn't seem to be a great choice for breakfast.
Scenic location, friendly but unobtrusive staff, beautifully restored building, plenty of places to relax.
This hotel I will recomend for staying for a few day , not for long living -for some reasons a) because beach - there is a pier instead of usual sea bay , b) not so close to old town of Kotor, c) and a little pretentious atmoshpere. But for romantic wekkend or for honeymoon it will be perfect - there is very quiet and solitary place.
The reception staff are very helpful. The rooms are far from the parking palce, so they very willing to help to carry our luggage. It is also not so easy to find the palce in the dark, not enough signes, and they got out on the main road in order to help us find the palce, which was good and helpful. The place looks great and well located on the beach, with gret view from the window. The service at breakfast was not so good, and all the gusts that stayed at the time with us had to "chase" the food and the lady that was supposed to serve us, and we had to go several times, we and others as well, in order to ask the reception to go and send her back to the dining room....I lamost felt that I'm on a hunting trip and I have to hunt in order to eat...but seriously, the service at breakfast should be better. Guests should not be chasing nor the food neither the lady.
Very peaceful and tranquil - luxurious bathroom and very helpful and attentive staff.
everything was very very good nothing..
Calm, quiet place; friendly sympathetic personnel Rather remote distance to the city
Excellent value for a really good quality hotel room. Although not in the centre, taxis are so cheap that htis wasn't an issue.
breakfast non smoking rooms
Friendly Staff, Confortable Room and good facilities
Excellent place to br in Podgorica. The best value for money. Quite, peaceful place with excellent food and staff. I recomment it to every business traveller
Everything apart from the location, which was OK, but not brilliant. Very good value for money, anyway
Podgorica is the capital of Montenegro but nothing touristic. This hotel is about 10 minutes from the city center with taxi which is very reasonably priced if you get the taxi through the hotel. Otherwise, some non-company taxes charge 4-5 times more. Be careful. Hotel is splendid. Breakfast is wonderful (they should include Balkan black olives and Balkan -feta- cheese though). Hotel price is very reasonable. If yours is a touristic visit, you should definitely do the Bay Area Tour (Kotor and Budva around the bay crossing with a ferry). The hotel can arrange this. In Podgorica itself, see the saat Kula and eat satch kebab at the restaurant near it.
New hotel, family run, clean The pictures are fake, the hotel is situated 10 meters from the main road, heavy trucks pass by all night! Terrible stay could not sleep!! Bed was very uncomfortable, cheapest pillow, hard like a stone! Doubts about securty of my car, staff say it is monitored, did not dsee any monitoring and receptionist was heavy asleep at night! I lef dissapointed and nervous at 5 in the morning
City centre is not far, much shops, surpermarket and shopping mall near the hotel. breakfast was nice, hot meal has been changed everyday.if more vegetable, it was perfect. Shower head has broken...bus and train station are a bit far and hard finding.(but if you walk the main roadto-BAR,KOTOR and so on cities, bus driver will be pick up you even you are not in bus-stop)
Quiet and comfortable N\A
The rooms were well cared for and everything was well kept. The staff were always willing to help you with any inquiries regarding the city and made sure any requests were taking care of. Free breakfast in the morning was always a bonus! The staff at Hotel Philia were great!
New Hotel Clean good quality nice personns very helpfull equipements in room very noisy : fridge, climatisation, sanitary system
Hotel is rather small, peacefull and quiet. We got a very large clean room and bathroom. Braekfast was good and you could even eat outside. We stayed over one night before moving up to the mountains. The hotel was situated near the center of podgorica. You could easly go by car to the town to visit all shops. The staff was very friendly, but not everybody there speak english.
The staff couldn't have been better or more helpful. A very interesting family hotel with excellent command of the English language, and able and willing to discuss all topics. They gave us a great insight into life in Montenegro.
Located in the centre of the old city of Kotor. Furnished with modern equipments. Spacious room. Reception was like that of a youth hostel, obviously not matching the hotel grade. Loud music from the neighbor pub went on until 1am. Although it wasn't hotel's fault, it was unbearable. Bath towel wasn't completely clean. Breakfast was poor and didn't start on time.
Fabulous location within the old town walls, lovely room with trendy bathroom. Nice canopied terrace at the front of the hotel to sit and watch the world go by. A wee bit on the expensive side.
room was well appointed and comfortable the wellness center does not appear in any of the hotel info, i read about it in a travel guide, initially found it confusing how to access
Excellent location in the middle of old town. Nice and friendly staff; good breakfast, good room. A little overpriced.
It seems that, you tried to choose the best one of all the things. Location, room and breakfast were great.
Being within the walls of the old town of Kotor. Very nice and helpful hotel staff. Quite (inside) and lively (outside) at the same time, as you want to. Bathroom has been very nicely renovated to a modern style, while the room has also been renovated to a high standard but to a some more old fashioned style
Very attractive rooms with very fitted out bathrooms and decent TV with good range of channels. There is a noise problem with the bars outside the hotel playing loud music until around 1.30-2am which you can hear in the rooms, breakfast was poor and the hotel also appears to have a mosquito problem as all of my friends and me were bitten quite badly.
The rooms were clean and the location was right in the Old Town of Kotor. I think the room rate was a bit expensive but overall a good experience.
the bed, colours in the room and lightening breakfast is poor, like 3 stars.
Location and comfort of rooms. Friendliness of personnel. Towels very good and bathroom outstanding, we had been upgraded to a deluxe room. . Breakfast. They put out rest of previous days salads, devil led eggs, cakes, coffee did not taste good and was not hot . One could order eggs or toast, nothing was to our liking.
I liked that the the room was waiting for me, was clean, had a nice view and was worth the money I paid. Smoking is allowed everywhere (but that's more a problem of the country) and motion sensored air-fresheners are installed in the corridors. Every time I passed by it freaked me out with a perfumed smell!
Friendly greeting Only an overhead light in room; loud thudding bass noise from bodybuilding studio next door all evening; breakfast service a shambles both days
The room was very big, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. -
Very good hotel! Staff, service and cousine are excellent. We liked it very much and will stay there next time. Sajo is situated not so close to the seaside, but not so far. Parking is too small, but staff is very friendly and always redy to help. Location is not excellent, it may be noisy at night if you want to sleep with open window.
The breakfast hours (7am until 11am) were convenient for us. It was nice to have air-conditioning and (as we had a junior suite) it was beneficial to be able to sleep in a separate room from our child's room. The hotel is billed as 4 star but does not match up with our (UK-based) experiences of 4 star hotels. It was more like a reasonable 3 star or good 2 star hotel: there were mould matches on the ceilings and walls, the staff could have been more friendly and the parking was rather chaotic and cramped. The breakfast buffet was very limited with tasteless coffee.
The location and view were perfect, the food was good and they had a good pool and swimming frontage to the Bay.
Good breakfast, lovely views. 2 powercuts in two days. Mostly older guests.
I dislike staying there, absolutely!!! Uncomfortable room, small space for the clothes, vere small room, electricity was broken everewhere, when we came in the evening it was absolutely dark thouth there was 4 or 5 bra in room. Next day when we told about our problem they repaired 2 of 5!!! fridge is very noisy like a plain. Breakfast first day seemed us not bad, but the next day we saw the same yesterday food!!!! no tea, stuff looked shoked when we ask about it. And you know sea there near Prcnji very dirty parasol is everywhere. Its rather far from hotel to Kotor, 3 km, need a taxi (no problems with it) Near Splendido no any shops, 1 very poor restaurant. Splendido's restaurant is much more expensive then thers in Kotor.
Excellent location with good views of the boka. Very nice pool area with adjacent private shingle beach. Rooms are small and there is an unsatisfactory layout to the hotel which requires guests accessing the pool area via the restaurant. Breakfast is paltry if you're not an early riser.
Wonderful ambience for dining on the terrace overlooking the fjord. Within easy reach of the old town of Kotor. Excellent food with very good menu for Montenegro. Good swimming facilities either in the pool or in the fjord. Did not feel crowded even when hotel was full. Nothing
Hotel has a nice and clean room with big bathroom. Breakfast is continental. Hotel is far from city center but taxi transportation is cheap.
Good, quiet place. Good english-speaking staff
Central location. Easy to find the hotel even at night. Breakfast is good. No central heating but air conditioner works very well so we did not feel cold. I had to wake the staff up at 7 a.m. when we have breakfast. We can park outside the hotel for free but it does not mean guarded parking, just a street parking. Extra bed for child should be free as in contract but when we check out hotel staff tried to charge me. It was really disappointing. Shower hot water is limited. We had to switch on the water tank and wait every time we use.
it is close to the center receptionist had an angry face
The hotel was ok for one night stay. Not many facilities and the staff is fair.
Cheap, good air con, nice staff, clean rooms, quiet Not really like other hostels- no washing machine, no maps of the city, seemed to be as many regular beach-goers staying there as there were backpackers. About a half hour walk to the old town, hard to find- signs or a more detailed map would help- we had to get a local to show us! No shower curtain
