With a stay at Domaine de Prefaissal 2 in Mezel, you'll be 6.6 mi (10.6 km) from Musee Alexandra David-Neel and 7.8 mi (12.5 km) from Jardin Botanique des Cordeliers. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The owners are extremely welcoming, attentive and warm. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are perfect for s good night's sleep.
Pros: A lovely host, amazing landskape and very clean and comfortable room
Cons: Only thing that can be better is maybe wifi. There was not good covering in the room but much better in livingroom.
Hotel de la Haute Provence is located in Mallemoisson, 12 km from Dignes-les-Bains. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. All rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. Hotel de la Haute Provence features free WiFi throughout the property. There is a shared lounge at the property. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar or on the terrace. Gréoux-les-Bains is 37 km from Hotel de la Haute Provence, while Manosque is 36 km away.
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The location of the hotel is noisy, but very convenient. The rooms are clean and sufficient for 1 night, maybe 2. However, as we are a family of 5, I wouldn't have want to stay longer than that.
Cons: Barely any provisions in the room. Beds, bathroom and tv, that's it. No airconditioning, no little fridge. The (water)pipes are very noisy (old) and there's a lot of noise from traffic.
Cons: Hotel is inflexible about arrival and departure times because front desk is not open all night.I wanted to pay the night before and leave by 6 AM but they told me I could not leave until 7 AM and closed the gate on the parking lot so I could not leave.
Pros: All fine. The people are friendly. Also the restaurant was typical for the provence. Good menu.
Cons: The only topic what was not perfect was the traffic noise. I had a room next to the main street. Permanent traffic (trucks and cars) all the night.
With a stay at Auberge de Calendal in Aiglun, you'll be in a regional park, and 17.7 mi (28.5 km) from Verdon Regional Natural Park.
Pros: nice and adeguate to the location
Pros: I liked the bike room, the friendly welcome, the cooking and the spacious apartment
Cons: Breakfast was basic (this is a rather isolated spot)
Pros: In a lovely atmospheric village (Aiglun) with marvellous views in all directions.
Cons: But of course it's quite remote, quite a windy drive to get to. But worth it
Pros: The region is very nice, with a lot of great nature.
Cons: I had the feeling that the staff is hardly interested in the well-being of their guests. The breakfast is very bad and not worth the price. The walls in the hotel are very sensitive so that you can hear everyone who uses the stairwell. The cleanliness of the room is moderate, especially in the shower there is more than a little amount of mold in the joints.
Pros: Excellent food and great hostess
Pros: Location, view, remoteness, character.
Cons: If you’re not confident driving narrow, windy mountain roads then this is not the place for you.
Pros: It's the only hotel in town.
Cons: Expensive for what we got.
Pros: The staff were amazing and tried very hard to make sure my stay was perfect. I will definitely return soon
Pros: setting of the hotel
Cons: confused on overall total cost. Paid for 3 x double rooms, but one friend was in fact moved from a double room to a single room, without mentioned of an adjusted rate due to the change.
Pros: A great place to stay. Very much recommended.

Pros: Very good breakfast
Pros: Perfect location for my circumstances that day. Warmest welcome from the hostess, even though we shared barely a word of common language. I hope she appreciates my gratitude for the extra little steps she made to make me comfortable
Pros: It was very clean, extremely reasonably (appropriately) priced as the room was small and quite simple. The view from the room was beautiful, looking out over the mountains. The proprietor was very funny and pleasant. The dinner was good, surprisingly so in fact. We liked staying there and recommend it.
Cons: Perhaps it would be a good idea to have a non-slip mat in the bath?
Pros: Great food, very friendly staff.
Pros: The rooms were very cute.
Cons: The breakfast was great, but we thought it was going to be only 6 euros each as listed on booking but she said no, it's always been $8. Something to update maybe...
Pros: Breakfast was ok, easy to find. You get a door pin code so can get in anytime. For one night it is ok travelling by.
Cons: Property aside the road and rail although i think the rail is not working. Cant sleep with an open window due to the road noise. No air conditionar but it was ok. Some smell from the bathroom but you get used to it. Staff does not speak any english, suggest to have translater on you mobile- helped a lot.
