Location.

My room was so small The lighting in the room was terrible I was under the impression that each guest was guaranteed to have access to 2 chases by the pool and the beach, each day they did not have enough to accommodate the number of guests. You can't have a resort at the beach and not be able to fulfill guest expectations.

rooms were filthy, only one towel in our suite, loud noise when shower turned on. overall the place is tired with no updates or effort to improve. would never recommend. second time there, spent $15k this trip.

The staff were always very friendly. Service was very slow, but always friendly. Decent location although I would have preferred to stay a little further south.

Almost everything. I reserved a King Ocean facing suite. The room faced the ocean and if you stood in the bathtub you could just about see it thru the trees. The suite's sitting area consisted of a single uncomfortable chair with an attached side table, straight out of the 80's. Not much else in the entire space other than a worn area rug and an equally worn credenza. Definitely not a place for sitting or relaxing. The en suite for the bedroom didn't have a shower. That was in a separate bathroom all the way around, thru the barren "sitting" area, back towards the front door. Not very convenient. And the entire decor I could only laughingly describe as Cell Block chic (?). No artwork. No color. I get minimalism, but this struck me as more of the kind of room you'd find in a Spring Break hotel. Easily hosed down. If you didn't claim a pool chair by 9am, you were pretty much out of luck. And despite odd assortments of chairs around the hotel, nothing looked comfortable or very inviting. The bar kept it's lights on full, when it was open. No ambiance. The restaurant food was ok, not great, but the restaurant itself needed some good cleaning. The posts holding up the awning were caked with grime.

Overpriced, incredibly rude staff, unresponsive management

Tired. Needs update. Several elevators out of service had to share them constantly with housekeeping and dirty laundry. Hallways old and musty. Overpriced vs quality.
