the staff were helpfull, and it was ideal for seeing the art deco area. the resterant was very good, i could not falt this hotel.
the reception staff are not so helpful.
Bathrooms are beautifully decorated but not safe. The glass doors at shower do not close properly and there are no handles to hold on to. My daughter fell in the shower and broke her toe. Hotel staff was very helpful but not a word from the administration.
I liked that it was on the beach. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and the location was ideal if you're looking for an authentic Southbeach experience. I didn't like being so close to Nikki Beach because the music could be heard in our room from 6 AM to midnight. The food at the hotel was way overpriced ($22 per person for an average breakfast and $16 for a mixed drink!!) I also didn't care for the tiny pool, but the beach made up for it.
Snobby attitudes. Just didn't seem very welcoming
access to Faena beach. adorable rooftop terrace and clean beautiful room
We were welcomed by amazing staff including Chris who helped us become familiarized with the city! The private beach was only a 2 minute walk and restraints were about 5-10min walking distance. I would recommend an uber if you want to go further south because it ranged only $5-$7 a ride. Last, my favorite part of the hotel was the canope room! Very relaxing environment for anybody to get work done or even conversation. Would recommend to a friend
Adrian who is the bell hop was the nicest guy I have ever meet. Late check out upgraded us to a suite Cool art work the coffee was not good
Comfortable and clean room close to the beach Friendly front desk staff Restaurant was VERY slow; The beach umbrella/chair guy looked and acted like a meth head Was triple charged for the room - still trying to work this out Our room had a view of a construction site
Excellent staff + good value + good beach access + great location Thin walls (could easily hear people next door) + hard bed
I was accommodated in every way. The staff was very friendly especially (Adrian) hope I spelled his name right. He was very attentive and a great bonus to the stay I didn't like that fact that you aren't allowed to use the fridge for personal items and we were locked out of our room before checkout
Casa Claridge, like I stated in my title is practically a home away from home, except of course with the Beach being a block away. The amenities, staff and location are all top-notch. We needed an iron and ironing board as well as a crib for our infant daughter and at the drop of a dime, it was hauled up to our room. When you check-in, the complimentary champagne is a classy touch! Would definitely recommend. Cheers!! We would've like to have windows in the room, that Actually open and closed. Especially in the bathroom
We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and relaxing. It was also close to the beach! We wished they had better parking accommodations (only valet). We could hear other visitors at night through the walls and floors. There was construction occurring within the hotel during the day.
We chose Casa Claridge because they support local artists and have a great display of artwork. The rooms are very comfortable, too.
Great job by all of the staff; excellent comfort, tasty food. Cool lobby and bar. Just a fantastic spot.
Michael, from the staff was excellent and attentive, and personable. All staff was very nice and welcoming but Michael, went above and beyond in the morning for us! Very cute hotel, rooms were clean, decor was beautiful loved inside and outside of hotel. Rooms were very spacious for two friends! No pool, but did provide towels and beach chairs, and because I arrived late at night we didn't get our complimentary drinks upon arrival.
Parking is $55 per night. That is absurd.
Really chic rooms, almost like a W. Helpful front desk staff. Great restaurant. Generally cool and stylish design (unlike most other Hilton). Outside the front desk and the beach staff, service is a total mess. We couldn't get soap in our bathroom after calling twice, staff in restaurant forgets orders and is not attentive.
I absolutely loved the beach being right behind the hotel. It was wonderful to just relax on the beach. The staff was amazing, especially Oscar, he was so wonderful! The staff was great and very accommodating It was a bit pricy for the valet (38$) and the resort fee (20$) I didn't like how expensive it was for a drink. Like seriously 6$ for a soda?!?
Our rooms were not available when we arrived. They had been sold. It was late at night. We waited over a half an hour before we were even acknowledged. We had to insist on rebooking us to an equivalent hotel. The process was a disaster and caused us to stay up until almost 2:30 AM. We had to negotiate with the new hotel at check out, to avoid additional charges. Hilton finally covered the expense.
Liked the beach, beach chairs. Having to pay a resort fee on top of expensive room rates. Having to pay $19.00 for an umbrella. Did not clean one of the rooms one day. Asked for extra towels, did not get them. Drinks were expensive & could not taste the alcohol. Buffet breakfast expensive $25.00
Brand new hotel. Beautiful views from the balcony. Great beach. Valet damaged my brand new camaro. Management was indifferent. They didn't believe that it was the valet because I had driven away after checkout.(valet had the door opened as I approached the car after checking out and they closed it when I got in) About five mins later I pulled over to get something out of my trunk and saw that the driver side door had been badly scratched. I immediately returned to the hotel and filled out paperwork to file a claim. Management was supposed to contact me after reviewing the camaras...and I've heard nothing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...sorry but I would expect a hotel like this to treat their patrons better.
The hotel looked like it had recently been renovated and everything was fresh and modern. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable and the bath towels were soft and nice and large. It was very nice being right on the beach. Oscar and Lesmar at the beach were very friendly & attentive. I had a long wait to check in, only 1 person doing check-in. The resort fee of $20 per day didn't include umbrella at the beach; and the fee is even added on for check out day when you have to be out by noon. Drinks were so expensive and not even very good. Also expensive valet per day charge.
Great location, we had direct access to the beach. The staff was excellent, specifically Ricky he was a great help. Overall great hotel I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
loved everything about it the view walking distance from the beach happy hour great staff and helpful bathroom lighting was incredible
apartment feeling horrible staff. young kids who are biased when it comes to parking. we are a caucasian family, handicapped/disabled. we waited all day for parking, and each time were told their lot was full. right after i asked for parking a third time in the afternoon and was turned down, a hispanic couple came in and got "the last parking spot of the day." This happened twice during my week long stay. the apartments have out-dated furnishings. the beds are HORRIBLE if you have any kind of back pain. One bed was do-able, the second bed sunk to the floor in the middle. luckily we travel with an air mattress, and that saved the day. the grounds are pretty, i'll give them that...but the complex backs up to a ghetto-A$$ gas station that is packed with druggies all night...definitely not an environment for young children. it was my first time to south beach and i didn't know anything about the location of the hotel. it's a little distance from the beach, but i was fine with that. my biggest complaint is how biased the staff seemed against white people, and how quickly it seemed they could fulfill every request from a hispanic with such ease. i won't go back. there's plenty of hotels in that area...just pay a few extra bucks and get a hotel with plenty of secured parking!!!
The property was really nice There was stain in the tub and the drain was broken, when I complained the woman at the front desk was rude and never send anyone to fix it
Awesome Place Awesome Staff
The staff were all super friendly and helpful The rooms were clean and the kitchen had utensils, pots, and pans which we did not expect Parking was the biggest problem. I was not informed that i had to reserve parking ahead of time.So it was a surprise that I had to hunt for parking that night on July 4th weekend. The staff was helpful in reserving us a spot by day 3 of our stay out of 6 days. But even after getting a parking pass, parking spots were no where to be found. You had to park your car and never move it in order to keep your spot.
1. The Art work displayed throughout the public areas. 2. Location. 3. Breakfast at the terrace. 4. Beach access and pool area facilities. Request for a two double bed room was not honored. The sofa bed is terribly uncomfortable.
Food and beverage were poorly organized. False alarm at 4.30 am, all guests evacuated to the open street and no word next day about it!!!!
Great attitude of staff - excellent location and extremely comfortable Nothing of consequence
The location of the hotel is great! Also they were accomodating for early check-in and late check-out. Since the hotel is on the smaller side it's "quiet". There was not a bar open that we could get a drink at when it was raining outside.
The position of the hotel, on the Ocean and near the shopping/restaurant street of Lincoln and Ocean Drive makes it a prime site of Miami Beach. Great morning breakfast (advisable to buy the Premium package that include breakfast and sunchair at the beach for $29 a day) Staff sometime slow, expecially the guys at the beach. The standard room we booked was quite basic, we upgrade for an extra $100 a day for an excellent Ocean view suite. Carefull when paying, they charge an extra deposit that I'm waiting to get credited back (1 week approx $400)
it was fun no complains
I enjoyed the entire facility. I also enjoyed the fact that it was a more intimate hotel and then say the 'Fountain Blue'. I was very pleased with my stay.
wonderful rooms with good access to beach. Staff always willing to help hotel overnight parking is expensive plus not on site
hotel staff was very friendly, very nice swimming pool area, great hotel room, very clean and great location
The room is big and clean Hidden fee of 20$ per night. The staff is very slow at check-in. Small bathroom
It was clean always Room size was great Shares Amenities with neighboring hotels Location 2 blocks from beach and lincoln rd mall No pool on site (Use The Catalinas pool)
I liked the efficiency of the staff. the fish next to the elevator on the 3rd floor
The hotel, the staff, the value. I would like to say it is all a 1 out of 5 so I can keep this secret to myself.....but they really out do themselves and are worth the max score of 5 with ease!
Location, close to beach. 2nd floor is not as renovated and nice as 3rd floor; water temperature in shower changed too much from hot to cold; checking in and out took a long time.
Loved the architecture - location was amazing - lobby and porches were wonderful - staff very pleasant and helpful perhaps a few more amenities - room could use a chair for reading
Convenience to the beach and the excellent outside space The room could have done with redecoration - it was a little shabby
Location, location, location! In the middle of Art Deco district, close to the beach and everything else. Best dining on Ocean Drive. Rooms are quiet and the patio is beautiful. Staff are very friendly. Housekeeping could be better.
The staff were extremely helpful. They arranged my room for me before 3 pm. provided me with towels at reception immediately as i entered (i was wet from the rain); they handed me the Fedex package that was delivered for me before my arrival; They were extremely helpful in following up with Fedex on a package that was not delivered. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and made my stay a pleasure. I even received two free drinks ( vouchers). I can recommedn the hotel to anyone. I received the best service ever and I have stayed in hotels all over the world, as I travel frequently.
Design Small bathroom
Friendly staff, clean & comfy suite, close to the beach
Location, location, location. Great Service nothing to complain
Service was excellent, half priced appetizers and drinks during happy hour till 9 pm, beach is one block away from the hotel. Not allowed to have outside food, beverage, or alcohol in the hotel. No refrigerator. Next door to a Party Hotel, so can be rather loud.
loved the breakfast, drinks & POOL!!! rooms were a bit musty, and the AC is LOUD
This was my third visit to the Bentley and first for 10 years. It did not disappoint with its super location on the corner of Ocean Drive and 5th street, great rooftop pool with sea view, friendly, helpful staff and well furnished suites and the great beach facilities at their sister hotel the Hilton Bentley just 5 minutes walk away Nothing ! I look forward to returning to the Bentley at an early date
It was near the beach Fridge made strange noise when cooling process stopped and it waked me up all times. Near the bed was something on the floor and it was sticky.
My room, the view, pool, location, staff. Taking two elevators to get to the room.
Nothing. Dirty, broken down, non-existent staff assistance, tiny rooms.
rooms were clean, friendly staff, pretty quiet for the party area of south beach, good food at resturant, safe, convient store attached to hotel elevator was very scary- just used stairs, maid comes knocking early- put up do not disturb sign!
Loved the location. Hote staff was friendly and very accommodating. Hotel was beach side and provided beach chairs and towels for guests. It was also within feet of the legendary South Beach bar "Mango's". We were even given free passes to get in! It was also within walking distance of the "Hop on, Hop off" tour bus stop that we used throughout the weekend to get around Miami. Noise level at night was somewhat high, but to be expected from any Ocean Drive hotel. We did hear a lot of noise from our upstairs neighbors.
Easy check in Easy check out Was able to upgrade the room! Very satisfied with our upgrade big room and bathroom. Would defanitly recommended to others and even stay again at the roommate Waldorf. Perfect location for staying at the beach. Went for the Fourth of July, fireworks were right out front on the beach :))) Small elevator but everything else was fine :)
clean rooms, great location, good restaurant, noise reduction windows!!!
The room was nice and across from the beach. You can walk to everything, it's just a little expensive but hey its Miami. This is not a family friendly hotel in my opinion, but the staff was great. Check in went smoothly, the room was clean. You could not ask for more. The room was very small and we were on the main floor so we heard all the noise on the block and traffic.
Frontdesk staff members showed a complete lack of competence, service ability and finally the hotel stay is marred by an absolute lack of logical relationship between price and product.
The beachwalk. Loud restaurant and bar at the entrance. Other things that didn't work: elevator (with expired certificate), remote control for tv, two light bulbs that never were replaced during stay, battery for smoke detector and mattresses that were of sub-IKEA quality.
Very nice location close to all the action and the beach, clubs, good food. hotel has paper thin walls, we could hear everything, doors shutting close, everyone who walk in the hall way, all the noise seemed like it was inside the room, the bathroom was old and durty we actually bought a bottle of bleach spray to clean it, Ive have stayed in other hotels on the same location and never had that problem. but if you are looking not to ever sleep, and to be close to all the action is perfect.
It was very central close to the beach and activities. Right in the heart of the Art Deco District. It was very noisy. You could hear every door close and not sound proof at all.
Location is perfect!
The location was very good. Right next to the beach, clubs and shopping areas. The people next door have been way too loud that I had to call the reception at 2am. Since "the party" didn´t stop I had to call again at 3am. I think it´s still should be like a hotel and not like a hostel where all the teens can party all night long when other ones need to sleep.
The location of the hotel. 1. air conditioning did not work and leaked in room. 2. there was no mini bar menu provided. 3. the hallway was run-down and dark. 4. the room did not feel clean. 5. lack of facilities (i.e., pool, gym, bar, restaurant, etc).
Absolutely nothing - It was the most atrocious hotel I have ever stayed at. They charged me for a 2 bedroom room and gave me 2 beds in one room - and will not return emails requesting this to be fixed. Charge of $2900 for 4 nights - completely unnacceptable. It was filthy and dark and dingy, fire alarms going off constantly in the middle of the night, rude reception staff, a bathroom door that wouldnt close. Every time i walked through the reception someone was complaining... this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in, and I travel 20 weeks out of the year.
The staff in paticular Terrance and Patricia made our 2 week visit very pleasurable. They were extremelly helpful and we will miss them dearly. The rooms were excellent especially for a group of people who dont want to be restricted to a hotel room only - having a lounge and kitchen area made things so much more comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel's design was nice but is seriously run down The hotel was filled with very noisy groups of young people. Many things didn't work and the staff just didn't care
Every one was really helpful
The staff was horrible! The absolute worst service we ever had. They claimed we had no reservation, charged us $1.15 cents per call for numerous local calls that never connected because of a weird dialing protocal completely unique to them and no dialing instructions on the phone, double charged our credit card (pre-payment and then claiming no prepayment), wake-up call 1 hour late (run for plane!
The bed The lack of small face towels. And housekeeping came in too frequently.
Very conveniently located close to the beach and to all the nightlife. Interior is very cosy, and very quiet although if in the middle of the action. Very handy if you want to have a snack/breakfast (kitchen), enough space to work, or receive a couple of guests for a drink. Nice modern furniture, great TVs. Feels like home.Friendly staff. There is no real hotel lobby
The room, amenities and prices were all wonderful. We've stayed here 3 times over this year and it's been wonderful each time! Night shift staff was a little unorganized on checkin which was abnormal per our last experiences. Valet was difficult to locate, no help was offered with bags, and the front desk forgot our IDs, credit cards and the process took longer and involved more waiting than normal.
The staff were extremely helpful and supportive of our stay intention (which was to party and enjoy Miami Beach) and the location (one street back from the beach) second to none for the price we paid. The rooms were freshly renovated with immaculate decor with plenty of space and all the necessities needed for a great weeks stay. Thoroughly recommend and will be staying there again if we return.
location. Noise, fire alarms, guests fist fights in courtyard, resort fee
Unfortunately nothing. Experienced an absolutely terrifying check-in experience by a Ms. Yomaira, causing us to cut our stay and leave after one night. Were treated with disrespect and subpar to the expected service to be provided by comparable hotels of the same class. However, in my experience with the Beverley Hills SLS Hotel, the above review of not a reflection of the staff as a whole of these hotels.
Great rooms, great staff, great food, great pool, great location. SLS hits it on all levels!
Pool are and location Housekeeping stored housekeeping trash in the halls. Management not responsive to this condition trash was stored in the hallway 4 out of 5 nights. Drinks are $20:00 each. Rooms are smaller than a jail cell
The beach staff was friendly. I didn't like the front desk personnel. Everything we requested the answer was always no. Also, our room wasn't cleaned all day. I had to request for the room to be cleaned when we left for dinner in the evening. Once we returned late at night no towels were left for us. Had to request at 2am.
The pool was great. Small rooms expensive everything.
Great service everywwhere -- restaurant, bar, beach. Felt very welcomed. The towel service company is superb. Understand it's a small room but there were two of us, very strange to have only one wine glass, and one tumbler in the bathroom, while there were two bathrobes. one of the bathrobes literally had caked on boogers on it, very digusting. we displayed it for housekeeping to see and they didn't even replace it. not did they replace the dirty towels they took away. The one wine glass had left over liquid in it from we don't know when. we put them on the room service tray hoping house keeping would get the hint but they simply put it back on our desk. cleaniness in the room was no star. Do not like the fact that Hyde Beach club does not serve the regular cocktail menu at night. the cocktails rocked, and i really didn't want to pay $15 at night for a very watered down vodka soda when the awesome cocktails are $18 during the day.
Definitely a high price venue. While the room cost is high, you are not nickel and dimed for everything else like at other hotels on the strip (e.g., you do not pay for beach chairs)... Rooms are a little on the small side. Great for a luxury/exclusive weekend but gets a little tight beyond a couple nights.
Great pool party Rude front desk staff
The room, the bathtub, the decor, the food, the pool. Customer service needs to improve radically, for such an expensive hotel, they're lacking of guest assistant. Just stayed for one day and encountered that the guest services speaks way to fast and they give you too many directions. Couldn't make it to the pool through the side pool because it was close even for the guests. Things that they didn't told us. The waitress at the bar acted null. Called the valet 30 minutes before I went downstairs to have my car ready and waited 25 minutes more do some dumb excuses from the valet guy, then when I claimed he started to argue with me. My fiance spent in total $500 for one night and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Never coming back.
The staff was so friendly and professional The room although it was gorgeous was quite small and there wasn't any room to keep hung of folded clothes
pool area is nice Staff was friendly at first but did nothing to accommodate us even though we were staying for 5 nights and had 2 rooms and lost or luggage for a few hours by accidentally sending it to another hotel. Room can barely fit 1 person. Food was so overpriced by the pool. Has a snobby vibe. Would never go back, checked out early to go to another hotel..
Everything about the place is ascetically pleasing, staff is super nice, people are cool and laid back, I brought my three small children there and everyone treated them like they were the cool kids on the block haha. They had a ball, and we felt comfortable, being young parents it's hard to find somewhere to go that's a good balance for our type of family. Rooms are a little small and food and drink prices a little steep.
