The Asian-inspired gastropub and cocktail bar opened its doors in 2014 and was the first to bring Korean barbecue and tiki-themed cocktails to South Beach. Drunken Dragon presents the do-it-yourself method of table-side grilling for guests to roast an array of intensely-flavored food over an energetic flame, along with an extensive menu of modern family-style dishes Asian tapas. Non-traditional plates are influenced from all over Asia – from Thailand, Japan to Vietnam – and are lovingly prepared to satisfy a variety of palates. Nestled into an unassuming strip mall, the exterior is just foreplay for the provocative and well-crafted interior. Upon entering, guests are welcomed with a dim sum cart hostess stand and walls decked out with heavy ropes and provocative photography of Japanese bondage. In 6 years, Drunken Dragon has become one of the favorite restaurants in Miami receiving multiple awards for its convivial Korean cuisine and design elements.
