I paid for my hotel room in advance, and I paid in full. My flight was delayed and I didn't get to the airport until 3 am. Hyatt gave my room away because I hadn't checked in, and then sent me to a comfort suites. I paid for the room, so even if I don't check in, why give it away?
Quick access to and from airport Very modern and clean Restaurant in hotel has good food choices beyond the norm Late check out only until 2PM--hard for those with a late flight out.
The combination of staff anf facility was outstanding. I want to stay there next time. it is a new property, so swimming pool was not available.

Extremely clean and new appliances/furniture Lack of fridge in room
Location, convienience to airport. Booked a king room, was given a double room, and was told that what their reservation had me as. Had to show them my email confirmation, and then they corrected my room. Just a little frustrating paying extra money for the upgrade online, and then not showing it in their system.
Location. The kingsize bed. Good rooms. Breakfast needs to be somewhat better organized and upgraded.
Value hotel close to airport for short stay to catch another flight/short shopping trip 1) Old amenities, 2) cramped, crowed hence dirty breakfast area
Cheap price for the location, right across from the airport. Convinient if not staying for a long period of time The noise from the places since it's so closed to the airport
Location Water leak in my room
Proximity to airport. Dirty. Missing amenities. Ran out of breakfast food for guests. Poor service.
I liked everything, specially the housekeeping staff. Would like a small fridge in all rooms even in standard rooms
Location Very noisy. Not because the near airporbad, but the other guests.
Free shuttle to the airport Proximity to the airport Staff was pleasant Able to hold luggage for you prior to check-in Cleanliness of room not up to par Machines went down so there was late check-in Price for the value Far from downtown Miami, had to keep taking cabs and ubers to get back and forth
Good location and staff was friendly. Rooms appeared to be updated The AC unit leaked over night on my room and the air was really moist. Room felt a little dirty. Very loud and premises were dirty. It's a cheap room so you get what you paid for. Overall, Just uncomfortable
Happy hour and the restaurant was delicious. I wasn't notified that my room was ready, after waiting for 4 hours
Rooms were good size and they catered to our changing schedule. The main restrooms on the first floor were direty.
The pool and the exercise room The staff was VERY rude. The room had bugs and smelled like mildew. The parking was horrible. The gates never worked and the key card had to be reset each day I was there. I was quoted one price then when I got there I was told a much higher price because I wanted to pay cash???? I was told I would receive a deposit but when I checked out there was no deposit. In fact I was told I had a balance?? The location is not ideal for tourists. It is the most difficult place to get out of due to the traffic.
Friendliest staff No dislikes
Breakfast is very good. Location is excellent, very close to Airport. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Breakfast times are not on web page, In my opinion an airport hotel should have breakfast before 7:30 am weekends and 6:30 weekdays. It's a bait and switch deal where pay a higher rate to get a good breakfast then find out they serve after you have to leave for your flight. Air conditioning not working in room and they were unable to repair that evening. only one room offered as replacement with only one bed. One of us had to sleep on a sofa sleeper, thankfully the A/C worked well in the new room. Tried to have supper at the in house restaurant, after waiting 5 minutes we were told they had a waiting list. We could only see around 15 people in the whole restaurant. We left and ate somewhere else.
Staff was very acomadating , made the stay very good. Place was very nice and rooms were comfortable.
Liked the breakfast and evening cocktail hours I actually went for the purpose of honeymoon and was not content with the room nor service. The view was other buildings and for the money spent on this hotel i felt it was like a 1 star hotel of paying $100 per night. I was mistakenly charged for watching a movie we did not watch. Also was not told about paying additional for parking. Did not get for what we paid!!!
I liked the design, the waterfall and fish. Having a restaurant and bar inside the hotel added a nice touch, because of the hotel's location. I also liked breakfast and the happy hour. I will recommend Embassy Suites. Location
Great service, close to airport, awesome lobby environment with great tasting food at restaurant. The room was nice, but dated with poor quality remodel/painting. However, served its purpose with an overnight layover at MIA. Warm shower and comfortable bed.
Breakfast and happy hour The difficulty in getting to property with the construction in area The extra fees, resort fee, parking fee, etc.
The shuttle to the airport was there on time to take is to the airport. The rooms are noisy due to the airport being close. The toilet tank had a leak causing the tank to loose water and fill up every 10 minutes. There was a water leak in the cealing right above my bed, water started to drip around 1:00 AM by then I just wanted to leave and never return.
Near the airport.Nice and modern interiour. Good bed, big tv screen. Breakfast room is on the top floor overseeing the air traffic. Beautiful panorama. I was very pleased with the free wifi connection. If you don't have a computer, you can use one of the Mac's in the lobby, bring your credit card along.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The lack of food options. Dish network as the cable provider. The tiniest bit of bad weather and the TV lost the signal.
The walls were covered in nasty unknown splatters and marks, the furniture and bed sheets had cigarette burns as well as the bed was covered in plastic, and the shower head was broken and there were cock roaches in the bathtub. There was an automated air freshener that you couldn't turn off and sprayed the room every 20 minutes which was way too over powering of a smell. Combination of weird odors and nasty Lysol giving me a headache. Save your money you would have a better night sleeping in a car.
