The room was so comfortable and much larger than expected. And the sweeping view of the city and the mountain from the room was incredible. I wanted to have a Spa treatment but it was booked out on the day. I wish it was open longer hours till late so that more people could use it.
very polite staff, convinient location, very clean, everybody is ready to guide and help costumers with abeutiful smile.
All that you'd expect from a Japanese hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful despite my bad Japanese. It probably would have been fine if I had only spoken English. The lobby and communal areas are very nice. The view of the Akashi-Kaikyo bridge was very cool. There is a train station close to the hotel, only about a 10 minute walk. (There's also a free shuttle that goes to the station, but I prefer walking.) The room itself was pretty basic despite being on the pricey side. I've stayed in rooms exactly like this for much cheaper and in better locations in Japan. The train station is close, but it's a minor station. You still need to take a 30 minute train to get to Sannomiya Station (the central station of Kobe).
Customer service. Manager who spoke English was incredibly helpful and accommodating. All staff was nice but she went over and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable...including making sure a taxi was available, which definitely wasn't always the case. Staff promptly brought anything I needed to the door (e.g. Shaver, shower cap). Staff was friendly and if someone didn't know English, they did their best to find someone who did speak English (or at least understood more than he/she did). Taxis were VERY difficult to obtain, even if I reserved one or requested that the front desk have one ready. I waited for 10-15 minutes for a car, which was a huge inconvenience when trying to get to a conference.
Extremely clean, great wifi Bed was too firm, but that is normal in Japan. Staff could speak better English; only one attendant was fluent and the others were very difficult to communicate with, although they were all exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Super clean, perfect location. Bed was too firm, but that is normal in Japan. Some reception staff didn't speak English.
