Pros: The view and property was fantastic! We loved walking around and bird watching. Grounds are kept clean. Loved having our dog with us. Great outdoor relaxing space.
Cons: The cabin is very tight fit- not enough room to open the fridge all the way, no place to store luggage or dirty laundry. The futon needs to be replaced- it is just metal rods and springs covered in pleather and was painful to sleep on.
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to the lake and very nice views. The cabin had been newly decorated and was very comfortable.
Pros: Accommodations and the Cove Restaurant.
Cons: Could have supplied toiletries in the room.

Cons: "NO BREAKFAST OFFERED!!!!" This is a Big "NO" for me. I was not happy with this!!!
Pros: Cleanliness of room and facility overall, kind and helpful staff and the location was excellent. Very convenient to I-70 which made it very accessible and also easy to get around Junction City.
Cons: No negatives.
Pros: Bed was so comfortable and the staff was friendly and the dvd rental was a great bonus.
Cons: The toiletries in the hotel room were full sized attached to the facility.
Pros: The room was very nice with comfortable beds and the pillow type that we had requested on the reservation. It was nice to have a microwave oven and coffee maker in the room.
Cons: We would have preferred it if they included a breakfast in the morning since we had to stop again after leaving to find breakfast elsewhere.
Pros: Near restaurants and store. The kitchen inside room, clean restroom
Cons: Breakfast, hallway on 2nd floor smells funny, prices on snacks
Pros: The staff was helpful and accommodating
Pros: Front desk was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Seventy five dollars for a pet fee at a "pet friendly" hotel is just highway robbery, not to mention that pet owners are required to read and sign a pet agreement which states that a $350.00 will automatically be charged to the guest's credit card, will be refunded to the credit card after the manager has gone through the guest's room to look for damages, but managers are not available to check the guest's room at the guest's discretion upon departure time.
Pros: Free rental of current DVDs, boar games, appliances, etc.
Cons: Gym was sparse and smelled musty (was adjoined with the laundry room).

Pros: The continental breakfast was very nice and had lots of different food. Best I’ve had in a while . John
Cons: Close to Hwy

Pros: The beds were comfortable.
Cons: We observed cockroaches in the bathroom the next morning. I tried to contact the manager, Mr Parikh, for three days and received no call back. The pet fee is high, in my opinion: $40.
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The staff weren’t friendly at all. Called at 11:02 saying “ya know checkout is at 11” as we were loading stuff to leave. Didn’t get to swim. Paid for a more expensive hotel for no reason. Very rude people.
Pros: We appreciated finding a hotel near Manhattan at a cheaper price but not too far away.
Cons: Arrived after ck in time (3pm) We were told that because of only 2 maids, no rooms for now, but to go eat at the Cracker Barrel. We had an event to attend & needed to get ready. She found a room and told us "lmk if it's TOO dirty" ?? Finally got room.

Pros: This is a great location to stop with plenty of restaurants, gas stations, etc... and you are right off the i70. I have often stopped at this location on trips for food and fuel and this was the first time to stay at Comfort Inn. It is clean, priced correctly and is all that you'd expect. Great breakfast included.
Pros: Good location near town, highway and shopping.
Cons: General common area wasn't air ventilated therefore too hot.

Although I was parked right in front he never looked the other way until I was back in the hotel. The same clerk that checked me in checked me out, he was just as friendly then as we was in the beginning.

Pros: Convenient good price
Cons: Breakfast was a bummer

Pros: There was no toilet paper and the swimming pools was closed
Pros: Very clean and relaxing
Cons: TV kept shutting on and off, otherwise great hotel
Pros: nice room...comfy bed...having a refrigerator and a microwave in the room is a necessity and these fit the bill perfectly. The manager, was VERY personable, was very interested in WHY we were in town, etc.., and made us feel VERY welcome!!!
Cons: The ONLY thing I would I say to management, as far as a positive critism, is to up their shampoo/lotion/soap offerings....it IS a big thing to travelers, and the type they had REALLY did not cut it for us....but that is ALL I would criticize for the stay.
Pros: It had a vacancy for us
Cons: No usb plugs for charging and not enough outlets
Pros: Rooms were spacious, clean and quiet.
Cons: The breakfast was below average and the front desk staff was inadequately trained and inexperienced.

Cons: Pool been shut down for 6 months and won't be open anytime soon!!! We paid extra for this

Pros: It very inexpensive and minimal.
Cons: there wasn't much to the place. Fine for a quick overnight stay.
Pros: It was clean and neat
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Pet was free.
Cons: I thought the booking.com description said breakfast. They had only coffee. The bed was horrible. Mattress sagged in the middle. The AC was loud.
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Very spartan, almost like a hostel. Zero amenities- had to ask for soap, shampoo etc
Pros: The gentleman at the desk was super very accommodating and friendly check in was seemless
Pros: The staff I encountered tried to be very helpful, sympathetic to the situation and professional.
Cons: Hair in the pillow cases and on the sheets. Gros! Several burn holes in the bedspread and the blanket was nearly see through ( the pillow cases are). I didn't think to much about the age of the room aesthetically, dressers and coffee isn't a deal breaker, the place is bare bones and the cost reflects that...but the fact that it was not clean turned my 5 night stay into a one night get me out of here thing.
Pros: Everything was just how I wanted it
Pros: People were very friendly and place was real clean
Cons: Nothing. All great
Cons: The “kid” on reception was illiterate. Really sad to see people putting kids in jobs without any training.

Pros: Staff was amazing change my room without any issues
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: Too many animals/dogs.
Pros: Clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast delicious. Good location.
Pros: This was a terrible experience and there was nothing to like about it.
Cons: It was filthy, the toilet seat did not fit and was not secure, the bed was not comfortable, the shower was extremely high to step into, the shower grab bar was not secure and, with everything else being so bad, we would never had eaten breakfast there.
Pros: Friendly atmosphere was great
Cons: The motel room was extremely hot. We couldn't get it cooled down.
Pros: It was right off the highway and the staff was helpful
Pros: The night clerk was friendly but her appearance was disgusting
Cons: Smelled of strong Lysol. At 630 in the morning the breakfast bar was already EMPTY...and coffee was cold. When asked the clerk to refill she only refilled one bin while she carried around her phone. Then she left again. Several military men needed to eat
Pros: Amenities as described, convenient location, evening desk clerk friendly and accommodating, lobby refreshments, good to see hotel pool is handicap accessible

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. It is right next to a steakhouse which has amazing food
Cons: There was gaps in the door which allowed the cold air to come in. There was a light right out my window that shined through into the room
Cons: Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Value was great! Location of the hotel is nice as well.
Pros: This is a good place to stay for one night. I will say, the bed was comfortable. The room was inexpensive, but that is what you are paying for, just the room....there really isn't a breakfast to speak of.
Cons: The front desk area smelled funny. The staff was not very personable and I had to ring the bell for someone to come to the front desk. If you are looking for a decent breakfast, don't stay here.
Pros: Overly soft bed, slept really well. Good parking. Lady at check in was friendly. Parking directly in front of room was good.
Cons: Continental breakfast not worth the bother. I’m diabetic, so coffee was about it. My wife wasn’t happy with store packaged pastries and bagels with no cream cheese.
Pros: The breakfast was unique - tickets for nice restaurant next door and we added entrees we preferred and got some $$ credit for them. Enjoyed the blooming tulips and cleanliness of parking lot. The room did not scrimp on towels. A 50's motel that has kept up with the times and modernized along the way
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The accommodations were as I expected for the cost. We were comfortable staying here.
Cons: I was disappointed with the breakfast. I actually thought there might have been more items available. Ran out of coffee one morning and no coffee pot in the room.
Pros: The bed was great. Breakfast was minimal but adequate.
Pros: The facility is immaculate, and the owner/manager was kindly willing to book a room for 3 at the last minute when we had originally booked for only 2. We appreciated that.
Cons: The breakfast could have been better. The choices were very limited, and I don't think it would have been too much to provide real half and half rather than the old powdery creamer.
Pros: Owner was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Liked the desk staff
Cons: Heater was not effective, shower did not work well, and the breakfast was sub-par
Pros: Clean room, comfy beds and a good steakhouse/lounge next door
Pros: the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable the heat and air work really good. the surroundings were safe and knowing that there was security made me feel safe.
Cons: the breakfast bar could have offered a little more like having a bigger varity to offer and there could have been more towels in the restroom.

Featured amenities include express check-out, laundry facilities, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Like I said you get what you pay for. Wasn't spectacular but what do you expect when you pay $47 a night....
Cons: When we walked in there was a sink full of water! Have no idea why but you get what you pay for...Also it was kind of ghetto...When you walk in you have to dial a number just to be opened to the front desk....Have no clue why but it made me feel unsafe...
Pros: It was an economy room and was very clean, exactly what I was expecting in an extended stay hotel
Cons: Rooms very plain
Pros: It was great. Just the bed is very uncomfortable. If you have back problems I wouldn’t recommend staying here longer then a night.
Cons: The bed is very uncomfortable
Pros: The bed was very thin and I could feel the springs. Very uncomfortable. Barely got any sleep.
Cons: Bed too thin.
Pros: Very clean safe quiet.
Cons: They did not have a hair dryer. But it worked out okay.
Pros: Its clean
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room!
Cons: Liked it all!
Pros: The hotel was in a convenient location with decent restaurants around and a Walmart was right down the street from it.
Cons: They had great reviews but the room smelled of dirty mop water and the beds were just okay. When I called the front desk for the WiFi password and to see if the TV worked it felt as I was inconveniencing them. Apparently I needed to check to see if the cable box was plugged in. There isn't an ice machine which I assumed every hotel has.
Pros: The staff! They were great and very accommodating. Also, the rooms were very clean.
Cons: We liked everything.
A stay at Budget Host Golden Wheat Motel places you in the heart of Junction City, within a 5-minute drive of Geary County Convention & Visitors Bureau and Geary Community Hospital. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: There was a kitchenette and 3 beds.
Cons: The carpet was so dirty that I had to wash my feet after walking from the shower to the bed before getting into bed, not that it would’ve mattered. It was apparent that they haven’t vacuumed for a long while. Blood and urine stains on the sheets. We requested clean sheets that very obviously weren’t changed from last tenant which also had old blood stains on them. When I confronted the front desk, they tried to give me the runaround. They refunded me for the night we didn’t stay because we checked out early. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was awful. :(
With a stay at Grand View Plaza Inn & Suites in Junction City, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Geary County Convention & Visitors Bureau and Geary County Historical Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location not so busy.
Cons: Needs a good remodel air gaps around the door, sink drains slow., water pressure in the shower. More pillows on the beds.
Pros: Quiet, no one there
Cons: Very old, poor workmanship on everything, swimming pool was filled with dirt and rock.
Cons: No heat in bathroom
Pros: Rooms were big and had comfy beds. Neighbors were quiet and staff did provide extra pillows when asked.
Cons: Bathroom was gross and dirty. Lamps wouldn’t work in room. Carpet was gross and curtains wouldn’t close completely. No breakfast and the room had a stain on the painting that looked like blood.
Pros: Location. TV was nice.
Cons: Repairs to the room were not complete; sink had been ripped out and unfinished. Looked like possibly pesticide around the carpeting--something was chalky like baking soda. No blanket on the bed.
Pros: Nice, clean room for a good value. In a quiet location, yet close to restaurants.
Pros: We had issues with our first room so we asked for another room and the person at the front desk was very nice & helpful and found us another room.
Cons: The first rooms bathroom wasn't clean, there was a bad smell so we asked to be moved to a new room, which they did. The second rooms bathroom was also dirty, the hotel itself is older and just needs updates, but we were told it had been updated 3 years ago, which I find hard to believe.
Pros: Value and location
Cons: Spiderwebs and mold
Pros: It was in a quiet place and it ad a good bed.
Cons: The room was in need of repair . The had bad damage on the walls that was patched and the needed to be repaired The bathe tub was dirty and broken and would not hold water .Even the price we paid it was over paid
Pros: A value for the price. A little old needs some updating.
Cons: The bed framing. 2 single frames made for a king size seperate. Advertised a queen size
Cons: Quality. There was a leak in room when it rained.
Pros: The staff was very friendly
Cons: The hotel was not cleaned well. The bathroom did have hair that hadn't been cleaned, there was mold all around the bathtub. The carpet had some stains and so did the couch. The couch also had some holes in the cushions.

Cons: It was not clean, very dingie, no WiFi,
Pros: The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The bed had sheets and blankets with burn holes in them, the bathroom looked like poop was smeared across the toilet seat and wasn’t clean, the room had to have a car air freshener in the fan because it smelled weird. There was trash under the bed. I wouldn’t have paid more than $20 to stay at this hotel especially since there wasn’t even breakfast.
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: No tv
Pros: Bed was ok after I got the hairs off
Cons: The lady at the front desk asked me if it was my credit card or my boyfriend's. They both had my name on it. Our first room, the door wouldn't open. Our 2nd room had a terrible smell but we were tired from driving all day and just wanted to sleep. There is no coffee pots in the rooms and they do not offer breakfast

Pros: Nice for the price. Nothing special, but no complaints. Good value!
Pros: Check in staff was really friendly.
Cons: They advertise breakfast and wifi, but no contential breakfast was provided. WiFi access was terrible. The TV was also not working.

Pros: Room itself was clean, although the carpet is long overdue for replacement. Nice enough staff. Price was right.
Cons: Funky, outdated carpet throughout. The nonsmoking room was below ground. The window didn’t close all the way, although it was secured in its open spot. Breakfast was a few bananas, and a couple of tiny prewrapped pastries.
Pros: Location for quick overnight
Cons: Mildew odor from AC/ fan- mild but evident
Cons: Staff was very rude. Scolded my spouse for asking for extra towels. It was an awful experience.
Pros: It was good
Cons: Keys card to room did not work well, they said I did it wrong
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Breakfast was basically non existent
Pros: Not a single thing rude staff, no Wi-Fi,charged for blanket I never had. Dirty beyond belief needs shut down.
Cons: Half size pillows. Had to walk down to the front desk to get extra towels. House keeping would not bring them up
Pros: Nothing staff was rude and accused me of having 2 extra people overnight when they showed up in the morning to help me move (they stayed at a different hotel) they even charged me extra.
Cons: Everything. Rude staff. The breakfast was terrible you barely had any options and I got charged extra for something that didn’t happen.
Pros: Easy access. Got my money worth.
Pros: It was clean and comfortable for what we were there for. Contenintal breakfast wasn't great but there were restaurants close by. The location was good too
Cons: I am handicapped and they always put us up stairs with no elevator.
Pros: Affordable, clean, right off highway!
Cons: No complaints for a 2 star hotel!!

Pros: staff was great his name was wish and he helped my party of 6 get into two dbl rooms after somebody gave our king room away - not sure if hotel did it or booking.com but i paid for it and had to get a refund -
Cons: my only complaint is the room smelled like a dirty diaper baby powder carpet cleaner and moldy carpet triggered my asthma , i coughed all night -
Cons: This site calculated a rating, but don't even consider that. It gets a big ZERO. Cleaning staff didn't do their job. And desk staff at check out said there are more rooms in disrepair than rentable. Terrible. Dirty 1st room (litetaly thick black ring around tub and urine and Sig nuts in toilet...uncleaned. 2 areas where lights weren't working. hair on sheets in 2nd room on the first of 2 beds, and smelly 2nd bed.
Cons: Air conditioning did not work. No other rooms available so we were refunded our money and found another motel.
Pros: Just off the motorway
Cons: Had to use another room for hot shower!
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: There was nothing for a Contiental breakfast.
Pros: The price, but you get what you pay for
Cons: Spiderwebs, cockroaches, stained and dirty towels
Cons: extremely dirty, broken shower nob, fridge, and curtains. Pluse bedding wasn’t washed. Because of this experience we will never stay at a super 8 ever again.
Pros: It was a place to sleep
Cons: Room had water from the air conditioner soaked half way into the carpet. Bathroom not overly clean.
Pros: Price was ok for staying 4 nights
Cons: Never changed the bedding never cleaned out sink, tub, toilet, etc
Cons: Doorjam was broken. Scary holes in walls and broken lampshade Door would barely open because lock was so messed up. Only reason we did not go somewhere else is that we were too exhausted.
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: The room smelled like mildew the whole stay. There was water damage in the ceiling located near the bathroom. The bed tilted downward at the head of the bed. The main entrance dead bolt was ripped halfway out of the wall. The bath tub needed to be re done due to lack of upkeep.
Cons: Dirty grounds and room smelled of smoke.
