The service was non-existent. The room was dirty from the carpets to the walls to the bathrooms and the bedding. The air conditioner was loud and ineffective. The entire room stank of stale cigarettes and body odor. The curtains were torn and did not cover the windows, where light from the parking lot filled the room. All night there was noise from the parking lot and other guests, making sleep impossible. The hot water controls were not functioning, so the shower went from scalding hot to cold and back again. I would sleep in my car before I stayed in this hotel again. Other than that, it was fine.
i read the reviews but couldnt resist the price. my stay was actually pretty good. the staff was nice and the rooms clean. i will stay there the next time i go to milledgeville.
We were in Milledgeville for a funeral and only needed somewhere to sleep. We checked in and within 5 minutes, roaches came from everywhere ! ! The clerk was kind enough to offer us different rooms. But they were not much better. DONT waste the time or effort. We called the Comfort Inn Suites next door (12:30 am) and they were able to accomodate us. The grandchildren felt more comfortable immediately upon arrival. My children's advise - STAY with a national, well known chain.
When we arrived at lobby we knew it was not going to be good. The doors were broken and the lobby and service desk were in poor shape and did not smell clean at all. My room and the rooms of my two travel companions were filthy. The carpets were so filthy that just walking across them made our socks dirty. There was filth on the bathroom mirrors, toothpaste spit on the bathroom door, what appeared to be a blood stain on the back-up comforter, no hangers, no alarm clock and the sheets had stains on them. In addition, my room door was sprung at the bottom and so daylight was coming thru. We were awakened several times each night by the sound of other guests fighting outside. I will never stay there again!!
I am completely amazed at the blatent, almost funny, negligance at every level of this hotel. bathroom not cleaned no toilet paper, missing furniture dirty trash can. All I can say is there's a very good reason it's only 40 bucks a night.
I stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn. Everthing was brand new in my room very clean and friendly staff.
Too much to limit to 100 words. It was awful. The smell of the room should have been the first clue, a bug in the bed, a mouse visited us, light bulbs missing, towels terrible. The desk clerk that checked us out was not helpful, made 4 long distance calls I still have not been satisfied. Awful, just Awful'
Water was hot (2 out of 3 nights)but the heater worked. Bedspread had holes in it, tub had a hole, bugs and dirt in it. carpet was stained, didn't want to remove shoes. keys didn't work 2nd night. employees said they could have given us a cheaper rate.Hotel needs lots of refitting!!'
everything was old, the bathroom and plumbing was old. we had to wait while they cleaned the room in the late afternoon.
