With a stay at Toba Hotel International, you'll be centrally located in Toba, a 3-minute drive from Toba Aquarium and 8 minutes from Sun Arena. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
Pros: Food was fine
Cons: Staff have no personal interest in visitors
Pros: Comfortable and nice service Nice view to the sea
Cons: Restaurant is expensive “Mountain view” is “parking view” actually.
Pros: The location is perfect for viewing the gorgeous bay and harbor. We spent part of each evening just watching the sunset and/or the moon dance on the inlet. The staff was very courteous, and helpful, especially the welcome staff. Bus to the train station every half hour was great for getting around, although we had such great weather that we wanted to walk. Breakfast is a lovely buffet, with several different cuisines. The hot tubs looked great, but we did not try them as we have appointments during most of our free time. Our room was quiet, clean and dominated by a fabulous view.
Cons: The dinner was pre-fixe for the most part, and quite pricey. But there are several options for eating local specialties in town ( other side of railway tracks). We felt we might not be sufficiently well dressed to try an evening meal there given we were at the end of a two-week trip and had more dirty clothes than clean.
Pros: Excellent seaview and food!
Pros: The hotel is MAGNIFICENT. VERY luxurious and the check-in and check-out were practically white-glove services. The breakfast was a great variety of foods, and the staff was helpful and kind. Great English speaking as well. The bay-view suite was large, the size of two rooms, and the view as fantastic.
Located in Ise, Sanco Inn Iseshi Ekimae is within a 15-minute drive of Ise Grand Shrine and Sun Arena. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The staffs are nice and helpful. The breakfast is great. Although the room is small but the design is good to compensate the inconvenient caused by small room size.
Cons: The double room is a bit small for two people. The price is a bit high when it is compared to other hotels in similar city in Japan (in regard of city size and popularity).
Pros: The location was convenient, next to the station and close to one of the main temples. Many complementary things to choose from. And the also have public baths there
Cons: Apart from one temple there was not that much to do around. But the hotel was great. You need a car to see something more in the area of Ise, that's what we did
Cons: The room was too small and no staff knows a bit english
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect, right next to the train station and at the end of the main street with all the shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful during check in.
Pros: Closet to train station and within walking distance of Geku, part of Ice Shrine complex.
Cons: Room was vey tiny
Pros: Hotel is opposite to Iseshi station
Cons: Checkout time is 10 am I think quite early

Pros: Kindness of staff
Cons: Too big hotel for groups.
Pros: Nice hot springs, cozy room with comfortable beds, centrally located. Ideal for a city trip!
Cons: Japanese-style breakfast, no real western options. Also, the staff doesn't speak english at all.
Pros: The location is just 10 mins walk from station, very good hotel in that area Room is clean and tidy than expected
Cons: Seems breakfast and lunch meal are the same
Pros: Hotel seamed to to be relatively new so was clean and well maintained
Cons: Staff were not helpful when we said that we booked a room with double bed at bigger size room. Instead room had two beds

Pros: Super convenient location, just across the train station. Small but clean room.
Cons: Breakfast was not cheerful. There was only 1 convenience store 300 meters away. We'd been used to be surrounded by convenience stores in Japan and so were a bit surprised.
Pros: Size of room was larger than most business class hotels. Good breakfast. Friendly staff that tried their best despite their limited English. The location is very convenient to the train station. Microwave is available for use on ground floor if you want to buy back food. Some restaurants in the area so it is convenient to eat out.
Cons: Nothing to dislike~
Pros: Nice and convenient location
Cons: Breakfast was average - not many options available
Pros: Location, breakfast, staff, cleanliness,
Pros: The hotel is very close to the station within 3 minutes' working distance. Very pleasant stay and the service is good.
Pros: LOCATION: Comfort Hotel is very near Iseshi Station. It's easily accessible from the station. It's not difficult to locate the hotel because it's one of the few tall buildings in the area. There's a nearby Family Mart. There are plenty of other restaurants such as Washoku Sato. Perhaps one of the best things about it is that Ise Jingu's Outer Shrine is just a few minutes away. CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT: It was completely smooth. The staff were really polite. ROOM: I stayed in Room 713. The room is perfect. It's very spacious for one person. My room had a view of Iseshi Station and Ise City. The room facilities are complete. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is fantastic. As expected, there is a bathtub so one can soak in the tub after a long day. There was a long table that I used for work. There is no closet but that's fine because there was an area to hang my clothes. It's on a quiet floor. STAFF: The staff are very friendly and polite. They offered to provide assistance. They greeted hotel guests. BREAKFAST BUFFET: There are quite a number of choices. It can be a bit crowded because there's only one buffet station. However, this didn't seem to be a problem. The spread was good for the amount I paid: bread; rice; salad; soup; cereals; yogurt; and so on. WIFI: The wifi was good. I was able to watch Netflix without any problems. PRICE: It was definitely worth it! It was really good value for money.
Pros: Sufficient parking lots and walking distance to JR station. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Complimentary breakfast and room size is good for family of 4 with kids. Clean and polite staff.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, too.
When you stay at Toba Grand Hotel in Toba, you'll be on the beach, a 3-minute drive from Toba Aquarium and 8 minutes from Sun Arena. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location; dinner buffet was exceptional; room view was outstanding; Japanese bath (onsen) available at no extra cost; free complimentary shuttle from train station to hotel; free welcome drink.
Cons: Room was pricey but worth it. Note: Both Japanese style ( futon on tatami mat flooring ) or western style sleeping accommodations are available at this property.
Pros: The view from the foyer and our room was vibrant and amazing. Our room was new and spacious, and had a wonderful ambiance.
Cons: The parts of the facility were a bit old and stale
Pros: The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent with a wide variety of options. The seafood was especially delicious. This stay, we upgraded our room to Japanese style room with modified futon-Western style beds and were much more comfortable as we have back issues. The staff is outstanding!
Pros: View out to the bay was awesome. Onsen has a nice outdoor view in the day. Staff from Taiwan spoke mandarin and were very nice. Breakfast was nice with sliced pork where you can cook yourself.
Cons: Light and signboard outside were broken, we drove by 3 times before we found the entrance. Rooms and facilities are old and tired. Shower head and taps in the room were chipped or broken. Very dark at night when public lights were turned off and feels creepy. Rooms were small and cramped for 4 people (thought it says sleeps 4)
Cons: we weren't able to get a non-smoking room, and the room had some residual smell of cigaret from the previous guests.
Pros: Great views of sea. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Facilities seem a bit out dated and tired
Pros: Its broad place. I like it much the lobby and with many facilities.
Pros: We love the Bay view from the lobby and our room. Our room had low western type beds (combining Western and futon style). Our plan included half board (breakfast and dinner) with many Japanese and Western choices. If you like seafood, then you will love the food. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Pros: The view at the lobby
Located in Shima, Shima Kanko Hotel The Classic is by the ocean, a 2-minute drive from Shima Marineland and 8 minutes from Yokoyama Observatory. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 3 meeting rooms available for events. Pros: The lounge with open bar (including alcoholic drinks), library, music room and terrace with amazing view, especially at sunset. Our comfort twin room was very large with a beautiful view, plenty of room amenities and very comfortable beds.
Cons: They advertise breakfast until 10am and last entry at 9:30am, but in reality they start cleaning up everything at 9:30, so be early! We were very disappointed by this. Arrived at 9:15 and only a few minutes after we sat down and had taken our first plate we were told buffet was gonna close. We were not told in advance and were charged the full price. Went to breakfast at 8am the next morning and that was a completely different (positive) experience, much better service as well.
Pros: Very close to the train station and the hotel provides free shuttle bus to and from. The lounge provides refreshments and light snacks throughout the day.
Cons: Wished the restaurants had more variety.
Pros: A great hotel in a beautiful location, 5-star facility and level-of-service. I've never seen anything like the view from the roof. I can understand why it would host Emperor Hirohito. The lounge was well-stocked, and everything was free. I wish the price weren't so high, we would have stayed longer and go back often.
Cons: The restaurant looked wonderful, but the prices were just too high, so we went out and found a nice izakaya in town for a great meal, and the owner was very friendly and informative about the town and its attractions.
Pros: Very comfortable guest room and very generous supply of all day drinks and snacks for free.
Cons: No onsen. Dinner is very expensive.

Pros: Great view.t
Cons: The whole place smells bad. Cigarette smoke mostly. It’s nice but worn out and needs some updating.
Pros: Lots of different rooms and services available. Helpful staff.
Cons: Room not really clean
Pros: Onsen was great
Cons: Breakfast and dinner good for Japanese. Most of the food was cold.
Pros: The staff it's very helpful, open and smiled. We like them allot. There is a free shuttle between hotel and train station ( every 20 minutes).
Cons: The smell in the room. It is not terribly but it is also not good. It smells like old cigarettes. Fortunately there is a good air conditionin.
Pros: - Location is up-hill but from there you have a lovely view! - Rooms are big enough, pretty cozy - The breakfast staff is very nice and helpful - Nice hot springs! only stayed in the indoor one but there is also an outdoor hot spring
Cons: - Be careful, even though there is a net against insects, we had plenty that somehow managed to get inside! we spent a while hunting and setting them free. So if you are afraid of insects I wouldn't advise staying here - the breakfast is not western-style unfortunately. But we were the only foreigners staying there so I guess this is why they do not propose this option. - no washine machine in the hotel
Pros: everything was excellent , good room with a beautiful view
Cons: “Chiropractice “ the only bad thing was ... i call the Chiropractic i had ３０ minutes but i didnt feel any better also the Chiropractic room was very noisy because the tv was on also her phone wasn't off .. so wasn't only noisy also she did a horrible job , basically i wasted my money .. i dont recommend it ! save your money

Pros: The food is amazing, we had an 8 course meal for dinner that had sashimi, lobster, oysters and beef. The breakfast was wow! Miso lobster soup ! The service was so excellent they provided us with a bouquet of flowers to celebrate our honeymoon and a bottle of fruit smoothie to drink while using the onsen. The staff were also really helpful. We speak very little Japanese and they always went the extra mile to help us out.
Cons: The place is a little dated but is clean and tidy
Pros: Sea view
Cons: The hotel is old and dirty, you can find the old and broken stuff hidden in every dark corner of the hotel It is not very friendly to foreigners as staff can barely speak English Unresponsive to the message - I tried to contact them to reserve dinner but there was no response and by the time I reached the hotel it has just passed the dinner reservation deadline, they were inflexible and unhelpful, so I ended up having cup noodle for dinner as there was no restaurant around

Cons: Hotel really needs a revamp as is very dated.

Cons: Room was a bit old but everything you needs are all inside your room or you may ask the staffs.
Pros: Fantastic views and a really excellent dinner, with masses of super-fresh local fish. Helpful staff but with little English. Easy to cope though, as it was off-season. Huge hotel but quite empty at this time of year.
Cons: The hotel is old and showing its age. A bit draughty, but it was December.

Pros: We enjoyed the spa there!
Pros: Nice remote location, nice looking restaurant and overall building.
Cons: Not value for money. Dinner and breakfast very basic considering the price and in comparison to other ryokans. Hot spring facility also basic for the price.
Pros: The room may be small but it is very cosy and comfortable for 1-2 people. Within the vicinity, there are a lot of options for the guest such as the supermarket, Daiso, baskin robins and more. Breakfast comes in buffet style and has many options for different preferences. Staffs are very friendly and willing to help out should you have any queries or worries. There are public baths for both genders separately to wash up and soak for relaxing time. The whole hotel gives up a very luxurious vibe even though its a smaller sized hotel.

Pros: The area is so big, many places to explore just staying at the resort itself. All areas / facilities well maintained and signposted. Hotel is so warm to provide torches and down jackets to go out at night, insect repellent for summer. What a nice touch! The lounge provides free drinks / cookies / books / music. Very nice resort make sure you stay at least two nights to have enough time to do everything.
Cons: The food is not the best compare with other hotel / resort of similar style, but there is nothing wrong.
Pros: The hotel was located away from other establishments, which meant that it was tranquil and a good place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was also pretty self contained, with free (and paid) activities that the whole family could enjoy together. We were pleasantly surprised that there was an adequately stocked (free refreshment/snacks) lounging area by the lobby. Excellent onsen on site. We drove, so, getting around the region was not an issue. Language and communications was not an issue as most of the staff could converse in English.
Pros: Rooms were very spacious and beautifully presented. Great tip to opt for a deluxe room on the fourth floor. The panoramic views are wonderful. Fabulous Onsen and spa. Meals in the restaurant were also delicious.
Cons: The only small down side was that the quality of the lounge wear was very poor. I would have preferred a nice yukata to the dull pajamas that were provided. This was surprising as everything else in the hotel was of very high quality.
Pros: Super Futon. Klasse Essen. Huge room. No noisy Chinese guests.
Cons: Onsen, outside cold. 1x Onsen inside also not warm enough Unfortunately we had to take smoking room. Not terrible smelling, but still smoke smell is there.
Pros: The natural park is amazing! The swimming pool is also wonderful. The resort is really beautiful.
Cons: Nobody speaks english, that is quiet inconvenient. You have to pay extra for all the activities (ex: even ping pong) and they are pretty expensive. The view from the room was on the parking, which was not shown on the website.
Pros: Arrangements by booking.com and hotel are accurate.
