The staff were very helpful and personable. The hotel was tasteful and well cared for by the staff and management. The location is slightly remote but is situated in a beautiful area. The beach was the best place on earth. Sky tv would have been of benefit for English speaking guests
The pool at the beach and hotel was excellent, sometimes a bit noisy with too much loud music The rooms were small and cramped, a 4 person room was only really for 2 adults and 2 kids as you have to squeeze into bunk beds
Quiet, pretty and friendly staff Distance to local shops - ideally you'd need a car - as I did not know this previous to my trip I had to walk.
Friendly staff, great swimming pool, very nice garden. Close to some really beautiful beaches. La Pelosa beach was one of the best I have ever seen. The water is unbelievably clean there. Some people mentioned already that this is not really a 4 star hotel. Well I must agree. Don't expect English breakfast. It's continental and the choices are rather limited. But that's OK I have no problem with that. My real problem was the hot water boiler: it was way too small for a family of 4, all of us we simply could not take a shower because we ran out of hot water. But that would have been all right for 2 people. And I must say in our bathroom the toilet flush did not always work...
Great location. A kilometer or two from great beaches. Pleasant but very basic. Breakfast was a descent spread but bad coffee. Coffee was not good. Not 4 stars.
Maybe because the hotel was rather empty, we got a room with a great terrace with a view to the pool. Nice pool. Staff was not that friendly and barely spoke english. Most of the hotel outdoors was under remodelation (preparing for the summer?), so there was a lot of construction workers around. Dark restaurant with a rather poor choice of food for breakfast. Famous beach in the region is not within walking distance from the hotel.
The location was excellent and the hotel had a lovely swimming pool and also it's own private beach 600 metres away. The room turned out to be a two bedroom apartment. The information on the booking. com site was not accurate. The rooms we had were not what we thought we were getting and the air con didn't work. There were fans in the bedrooms at least. The view was spectacular and restaurants nearby were great but the hotel's own restaurant stopped serving dinner at 9pm! Also quite expensive.
Nothing... I made booking from booking.com, but hotel manager told me that they have no room for us. They moved me and my family to 3-stars hotel and forced to pay same price as they have for theirs 4-stars hotel.
Hotel staff were very unhelpful and could not speak much English
Great Value for our double room. Very nice beds, clean, spacious. Good location but a good walk from the beach. We needed extra pillows and late night manager was very kind and looked after us. Breakfast very poor, I would not be a big eater for breakfast but love a decent cup of coffee especially in Italy, coffee was appalling! Dining room was cold and uninviting. No bar/restaurant facilities in low season.
Good value for money hotel however it is not close to any amenities at all and you will need a car in order to get to the town. This time of year the place is empty and the staff although friendly did not speak any English
Great personal service. I left my keys there and the hotel sent my keys to me by mail.
the swimming pool was really nice, clean and there was somone at the pool- I liked the food : they even did a barbecue one night! think the sea view was too expensive -
Hotel manager and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room excellent and well kept. Great outside pool in lovely setting. We have stayed there seven days on HB basis, both morning and evening meals were excellent. To summarise, Al Saraceno is really great hotel and we would return. n/a
Nice hotel, close enough to the Pelosa beach; Very clean and spacious room. Nice staff, dinner was good! Stintino is boring though, I was glad I spent only one night there.
