Pros: i had got the date of our booking wrong and arrived a day early. Nothing fazed, we were made very welcome. The setting is lovely and, although we were the only guests (it was a couple of weeks before Christmas) and it could have felt a bit bleak, we were treated royally.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Cons: The room was dark and cold.
Pros: Good cook , fresh products,
Pros: Gorgeous old home with atmosphere. Lovely pool and extensive gardens. Friendly atmosphere with guests dining together .... perfect for a solo traveller.
Cons: The dinner was good value but was not exactly what was on the menu. Food was a bit basic .... I had hoped for better.
Pros: A fabulous stay with Lovely staff. The evening meal was exceptionally good and used local ingredients, and being a set meal offered very good value for money. Breakfast was so good, all homemade. A gem.
Pros: Lovely dinner and breakfast
Pros: We wished we had longer than one night to stay here!! It was beautiful! The house was so nice and the surrounding gardens as well! We visited in January, but wished it was summer so we could swim in the pool! The rooms are decorated like you are back in time and everything was very clean! You must have the dinner on site! It was one of the best meals of our lives! Breakfast was also amazing and with freshly baked pastries! Can’t wait to come back one day!
Pros: The dinner and breakfast was the best meals we had had in Sicily. The pool and garden very nice
Cons: Had difficulty finding the location

Pros: Extremely heplful guys on the Reception Desk, we were upgraded to the spacious room with the terrace, and helped us even the day after our checkout to sort out our mini mess (we thought we forgot something in the hotel but it was a mistake, all was fine at the end we found everything). Thanks to the nice and kind lady who served delitious breakfast, too.
Cons: Piazza Armerina as the city itself was a but special, so we were happy to stay in this hotel as it was different
Pros: Very clean, friendly staff, very quiet.
Cons: Bit of a way from town.
Pros: Loved the reception manager's welcome. The food at the restaurant was very good, especially the pizza and sautéed spinach. Loved the two orphaned Street dogs the hotel has adopted. They'll occasionally check you out but are very friendly and quite handsome.
Cons: Dark wall colors in our room.
Pros: Very good breakfast
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the rooms are of a high quality.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about.
Pros: The hotel was easy to find on a road out of the town with lots of parking. Our room was clean and warm. Breakfast was excellent. If the restaurant had been open it would have been a great stop over hotel after visiting the Roman Villa before moving on to Enna and Agrigento.
Cons: We were expecting the hotel to have a restaurant. However the hotel is in a separate building and the restaurant was closed. There was nowhere to eat close by but a supermarket was handy a short car journey away
Pros: We were comfortable enough. Free on site parking. The restaurant was very good. I had a great vegetable pizza.
Cons: Their credit card machine wouldn’t work with a debit card.

Pros: It well located to go to piazza armerina and villa romana del casale by car, but far away from town centre if you do not have one. it is easy to find as it is very well signposted in the town.
Cons: Too near to the road ss117 bis so it could be noisy if the room is on that side. breakfast is very poor. it seems a little expensive for the quality offered.
Pros: Rich interior
Cons: Hotel staff apparently did not know we were arriving so we had to wait for the room to be prepared. Breakfast is very poor for a 4 star.
Cons: The hotel was close to a motorway and the first night was extremely noisy due to a number of coach parties and a lot of exuberant schoolchildren. We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious, but although there was a kettle and teabags in the room we couldn't plug it in and there were no cups.
Pros: The room was spacious and quite clean, but very bare
Cons: This is a pretentious but soulless hotel. The buffet breakfast was very modest. It is outside the town, and was nearly impoosible to find. No internet connection. It is very close to an elevated highway, which would be very noisy for rooms on that side of the hotel.
Pros: convenient loocation for Piazza armerina
Pros: The room was clean and quiet, and a good value.
Cons: Location of the hotel was next to a large bypass. Evening meal was relatively expensive in the hotel restaurant when compared to other hotels, but food was good.

Cons: Breakfast was poor. Very difficult to find the restaurant, which was rather hidden away and quiet.

The view from the windows was stunning, a free parking nearby. Very fast internet. The host was very friendly, helpful and patient (we were lost in our way and arrived late).
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Neat and artsy, comfy beds, clean towels, great shower and amazing view.
Pros: breakfast not our taste or choice
Pros: Nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Roberto was there to meet us and was really helpful. Location is perfect for restaurants and seeing the town. We stayed 2 nights so that we could get to the Roman Villa early and we were the second couple there and had the place to ourselves for a while. By the time we left about 20 coaches had arrived so we recommend getting there as the site opens.
Cons: Lovely apartment - nothing to dislike.

Cons: The hot water didn’t work properly and we had uncomfortably cold showers.
Pros: Good location and public parking close by. The apartment and kitchen are great. Breakfast very nice on a b&b standards.

Pros: Excelllent hotel and an outstanding value. Very attentive and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, airconditioning, lift. Parking on site. very good breakfast
Pros: Very friendly and helpful stuffs, easy parking, good breakfast, free internet
Pros: Great breakfast - so different than typical Italian choice. Free WiFi (you need to ask for password on the reception). Rooms are small but nice.

Pros: Position - close to bus terminal and town> Had a lift (for trnasporting luggage)
Pros: Good sized room and good bathroom

Pros: Heidi at the reception was excellent, very helpful.
Cons: I was very uncomfortable with the sheets. They were not clean from the first night. I slept on the bath towel prvided

Cons: look out for hotel signs otherwise not easy to find, no view, breakfast very average, if not lucky, you may have trouble finding parking in high season

Pros: Location was great and host Alessandro couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming.
Cons: Wine was a bit expensive. Local bottle of wine was good but as expensive as if bought in a London restaurant.
Pros: We wanted to experience a "farm stay" and this one was close to the Villa Romana and had great reviews. Lovely pool area and dinner was high quality local food - fresh grilled vegetables, local meats and cheeses, excellent pasta, fresh salad and delicious pork cutlets - accompanied by a good selection of Sicilian wine. Also - it was quiet - slept wonderfully!
Pros: Chance find on booking.com. Close to town with excellent food and very welcoming staff
Pros: Food and wine were outstanding.
Cons: No air conditioning although the room fan was adequate.
Pros: The best homemade chocolate cake we have ever had. The breakfast was outstanding. There had been a huge storm the night before but the staff had managed to clear even the pool area. The views are terrific and the location incredibly peaceful.
Cons: Some books to read in English on rainy evenings.
Pros: Beautiful room and meal
Pros: We liked everything, the dinner we ordered was a bit heavy and overpriced. Great place for vacation.
Pros: Nice balance between farm and hotel: neat, landscaped, nice pool, efficient but good old-fashioned eagerness to meet our needs and extra requests. Pleasant, clean, simple but smart accommodation: good attention to detail. It’s really in the countryside and quiet; you can really go for a walk. The breakfast is a remarkable spread, supervised by the nonna. All the people are genuine: we got to know no names, it wasn’t at all synthetic - they were good people. It’s in a lovely area: a good base for exploring the interior, with the Casale Roman mosaics very close by.
Cons: We’d have liked an extra signpost - on the Strada Provinciale: our GPS didn’t take us up to the property.
With a stay at B&B Villa Roma in Piazza Armerina, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Domus Artis and Casa Museo del Contadino. Pros: The owner is very friendly. He helped us with every thing, he prepared breakfast fo us.
Cons: Everything was nice!
Pros: Beautiful, spacious, quiet room close to almost everything we wanted to see. The trips outside of the old, historic center were very easy to arrange.
Pros: Good place to stay in the city, LOVELY staff (they are GREAT) and the facilities are nice and new. The parking is easy and can be free in front of the hotel (blue zone you have to pay, but non blue zone is free!)
Cons: The slight negative is the hotel is on one of the more frequented roads in town and you can get a bit of a street noise. We had a room facing the street and I used my ear plugs and it was fine.
Pros: The hosts were extremely accommodating and helped us to feel at home. The apartment was extremely clean and the breakfast was very good. Just a short walk to the main attractions of Piazza Armerina however you will need transport to get to the mosaics.
Pros: Perfect breakfast: he even asked us what we would like to eat in order to get it. Incredible chocolate croissants. Charming room, beautiful and usefull bathroom. Very good location.
Pros: Our host and his daughter were delightful. She made pista cream filled cornets in the morning that very a delightful treat (if you like breakfast sweets). The location was great.
Cons: All was good.
Pros: We have been traveling in Sicily for 2 weeks now and this was our favorite B&B so far. We had a whole apartment to ourselves.

Pros: Quite large rooms and decorations are new and pretty. Breakfast is quite good!
Cons: The hosts don't speak English, but are so nice to communicate with help of mobile translation and guesture.:)
Pros: The owners are incredibly nice people. They take hospitality to a whole new level! The apartment is spacious, and in an elegant building. The bathroom is really beautiful. Piazza Armerina is a nice little town, be sure to stay here when you want to see the marvellous mosaics in Villa Romana del Casale. The Duomo in Piazza Armerina is really beautiful!

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very good location, round the corner is the cathedral and lots of nice restaurants nearby. Kimera is full of arts , love the decorations. The room is so spacious and bed is comfy. Wifi is good. Breakfast is good enough with Sicilian cakes. Park the car right outside the B&B. Lots of parking space. The host Rita is very kind and treat the guests very well. If I come back Piazza Armerina, must stay in this B&B again. Highly recommended.
Pros: Rita is a wonderful host! The room was big, clean and beautiful! And breakfast was outstanding!
Pros: Location, room size, convenient free public parking outside
Cons: The interior generally feels a little tired - the shower door needed a bit of patience to work properly
Pros: It is in the historic centre, a 2 minute walk from the cathedral, and a 4 minute walk to Palazzo Trigona which houses the museum of the Piazza Armerina area.
Cons: The 2 rooms we rented were very clean, spacious and quiet.
Pros: The breakfast was great, with delicious crunchy bread, a selection of ham and salami, boiled eggs, yogurts, fruit, a variety of pastries, tea selection and fresh orange juice. The location is very central, just behind the cathedral and within walking distance of most major buildings. The furnishings and decor are very baroque and opulent, one of the main reasons I wanted to stay there. A very genial lady of the house, la signora Rita, who made sure that we were comfortable, warm and well-provided with towels. She even suggested where we should eat in the evening and offered to call the owner.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was a strange unpleasant smell in our room, the source of which we could not identify. We tried to mask it with deodorant and eventually did not notice it, until we returned after dinner.
Pros: Rita so welcoming and warm and we are very late in replying . Breakfast delicious
Casa del Jazz Historical Center is set in a renovated historic building with original stone walls, located in the centre of Piazza Armerina. It offers en suite rooms and self-catering apartments. WiFi is free. The units are simple and come with a balcony and air conditioning. The apartments are complete with a kitchenette. There is a bus stop 50 metres away, and you can walk to the nearest restaurant serving Sicilian specialities in about 2 minutes. The property also features a garage for bikes and motorbikes.
Pros: Good check in. Found free parking right outside.Supermarket a few mins walk very close and duomo easily walkable but uphill. Great recommendation of restaurant by host, Ristorante Teatro nearby. Nice bedroom, comfortable bed. Coffee cups and coffee/ sugar etc set out on table was a nice touch. Very comfortable. Liked having the balcony
Pros: Great location. Angela is a wonderful host. Very comfortable.
Pros: A very centrally located and quiet apartment which is very convenient for visiting the town.
Cons: A little difficult to find parking at first but OK in the end. A more modern hot plate would help when trying to boil water for tea and an oven cloth for lifting pans off the stove and somewhere to put pots to dry would be great.
Pros: Good location between centro storico & area with supermarkets
Cons: No hairdryer
Located in Piazza Armerina, Villa Clementine is a 4-minute drive from Casa Museo del Contadino and 5 minutes from Pinacoteca Comunale. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: excellent breakfast and friendly owner.
Pros: Wonderful property with an incredible, generous host (thank you Rita), this villa is a great place to stay for a visit in Piazza Armerino. Only a short distance from Casa de Villa Romano. I little tricky to drive into the first time, but Rita offered to drive us to, and pick us up from, our restaurant each night which was greatly appreciated. We were spoilt as guests and had a terrific stay.
Pros: Wonderful host, excellent breakfast
Pros: Comfortable room in lovely setting about 10 minutes drive from centre of town. Fabulous home made breakfast.
Pros: Great location to visit the Roman Villa nearby which is an absolute must in a trip to Sicily, a unique masterpiece. Rooms after rooms of splendid mosaics. Villa Clementine is full of charm, our room facing the pool was very quiet, warm decor, spacious and comfortable with a small terrace. Good wifi and much appreciated international news channel on the TV. The host, Clementine, is charming and witty, she speaks very good English and French. The breakfast in the cosy house is plentiful and splendid. The place to say in Piazza Armerina. Do visit that authentic and charming town not swarming with tourists. A walk up to the cathedral is very pleasant. Avoid the hotel/restaurant Mosaïco on the way to the Villa, there are two better restaurants further up or you can eat on the site.
Cons: It is a bit tricky to get there, you need a GPS or the use of Google Map.
Pros: Our hostess was generous and very accommodating. Offered to take us into town & pick us up! Free range eggs and homemade preserves. Her English was good. Beautiful setting. Quiet, despite nearby flyover road...triple glazing? Pool area beautiful. Remember to visit the fantastic Villa Romana do Casale for the multide of mosaics.
Cons: 2 Queen sized beds would have been better.
Pros: Nice hospitality, perfect room.
Pros: Rita, the host was fabulous
Cons: Nothing It was perfect
Pros: The breakfast was far better than average.
Cons: Finding the place was very difficult. This was the only negative in the whole experience. I spent almost two hours to find the place after I got in town, and I felt some explicit directions would have helped greatly, rather than just having a street address. Even the police did not know where the street address was! They led me to the place, but when we were about 200 m away, they simply told me I was own my own, and then I needed almost another 45 minutes.

Pros: The location was great for me. The host and his family were extraordinarily helpful in helping me find out how get to the Villa Romana del Casale. The host was kind enough to pick me up at the bus stop when I arrived and his daughter dropped me off there when I left. Each breakfast was a wonderful feast of local fruits and cheeses and was an absolute treat that made getting out of bed a pleasure. My room had a lovely balcony where I could sit in the late afternoon and morning and enjoy the views and the tranquility. Piazza Armerina is a beautiful little town with great restaurants and wonderful gelato just a short walk from the B&B. I would definitely stay there again and again. The whole family takes real pride in every aspect of the operation. Definitely 5 stars.
Cons: Absolutely nothing except for the fact that I could only spend a few nights there because of other commitments.
Pros: Georgia was fantastic. She was very friendly and helpful and even followed me down the street to help guide me into a very tight parking space. The room was very spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Cheers John
Pros: Different charming friendly well run
Cons: No parking but who has here?
Pros: A fabulous breakfast. Very hospitable. Close to the centre. Comfortable room with a super view. Piazza Armerina is an interesting town and such a relief from the tourist hoards of Taormina.
Pros: Spacious room in a very interesting house, a mix of medieval and modern décor. Amazing view from my balcony. Lovely hostess was welcoming and helpful Breakfast plentiful, tasty and beautifully presented. Thank you Giorgia and Sonia. I would definitely return if ever in Piazza Armerina.
Cons: WiFi was not working
Pros: Francesca was welcoming and very helpful, ringing us a taxi so we could visit the Roman villa. The residence has lovely old furniture, and is a classic piece of architecture. Location close to the centre of the old town. A beautiful kitchen. Everything fresh and clean.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Dimora del Conte! The rooms were very clean, comfortable and cosily decorated, with nice balconies overlooking the roofs of the historic centre, the location was excellent and the host had a parking place reserved for our car outside the B&B. And the most important was Giorgia, the host; a wonderful person who did everything so we would be comfortable. She made a great breakfast for us with everything fresh -fruit, ricotta cheese, prosciutto, etc. She gave us information on what to do in Piazza Armerina. All in all it was an excellent experience. Great value for money!
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: Georgina was very helpful even with driving with us showing us the best parking spaces for the period of stay. Google translator required for communication.
Pros: It was an old house with a great views

Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is beautiful with spectacular views. The place is well preserved and has loads of rooms, little corners and possibilities.
Cons: The food was of average quality, outdated recipes and strict time slots. Also the room missed some flair of local plants for instance.
Pros: Breakfast was amazing and delicious. Location was rural and very peaceful
Cons: Odd to have a tour bus of 15 or so Americans.
Pros: Hospitality, food, setting, quiet, nature.
Cons: Superb in every way.
Pros: Great dinner and breakfast, simply delicious! Staff was very warn and welcoming. Really quiet and charming place. Phillipe, the owner, was super attentive to us. Price was very convenient.
Pros: Very comfortable for a rural stay.
Cons: Property could’ve been designed to take advantage of views. Felt a bit like a compound.
Pros: Fantastic well managed hotel. Nice employees. Good food. Lovely room (we got an upgrade). Beautiful site.
Cons: Swimming pool not too big.
Pros: The pool , the food , the hot tub . The bed was so cosy .
Pros: Everything was perfect food and breakfast to die for very helpful and friendly staff and very clean modern rooms even had a kitchen
Cons: Everything was perfect just the pool area a bit small
With a stay at Suite d'autore in Piazza Armerina, you'll be just steps from Pinacoteca Comunale and Cathedral of Piazza Armerina. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: Design, staff, location, jacuzzi. Each room has a unique artistic design. Ours had a nice view of the cathedral and the central square. The staff (Mums) was most friendly and helpful.
Cons: Driving around the city may be a real challenge. Google GPS may lead into streets that are to narrow even with the mirrors folded. But this is not related to the hotel itself.
Pros: The funky decor in the old building in a beautiful setting!
Pros: Experience was amazing
Pros: The interior was quite unique on par with what one can see in Dali theatre-museum in Figueres, and the view of the piazza del Duomo was even better than what Dali had. Very helpful staff.
Cons: It would help to have more explicit driving instructions as the navigator led us to take several incredibly narrow and steep streets, whereas in reality there is a much more reasonable way up along via Mazzini and via Cavour.
Pros: Location was excellent - in the centre and opposite a wonderful view of the duomo and surrounding countryside. The room was wacky and fun - we were given a choice on arrival. A great fun hotel with loads of art work. Welcoming staff and a good breakfast on the rooftop balcony overlooking the countryside. Perfect.
Pros: The young man in reception and breakfast room, called Mams, was very informative, helpful and pleasant. Wonderful location only a short drive or bus journey from the incredible UNESCO site Villa Romana Casale.
Cons: The shower and shower screen above the bath needs to be reconfigured not easy to use.
